This is by far the worst bb cream I've ever tried! It's too heavy, cakes up, the lightest shade is too orange and to top it off, is 50 flipping dollars!! I've never hated something so much and will never buy it again! The only good that came out of it was that I got my money back and learned that my young skin doesn't need something heavy like that.

I have tried so many BB creams and I keep coming back to this one. It is expensive, however a little goes a long way and if I apply it with a brush, I can use less and it will last longer. The coverage is pretty consistant and the finish is just the look I want. At 66 years old, I do not want a mat finish. I want my skin to appear dewy and youthful, I get that look with this BB cream. I have bought it a few timed and am thoroughly pleased. Of course I still keep looking for the same results with a smaller pricetag...

I LOVE THIS BB CREAM. I've tried so many other BB Creams that have all been brand named and NOTHING compares to this. Except for the ELF tinted moisturizer.

It's so smooth and provides amazing coverage that wakens up my face, and leaves my skin looking very healthy! Wearing this BB Cream alone gives me the confidence to not need anymore makeup. I feel fine going anywhere with just this amount of coverage, it's that amazing. (If you have skin like me, you'll get what I'm saying.)

This small bottle has lasted me for more than 4 months due to the small amount of application you need (pea sized amount), and I have been wearing it everyday!

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this product, it used to be pricing I was finicky about, but now seeing how long it lasts I no longer consider it an issue.

So this is my favorite of all BB creams, but that isn't saying much. I like it for it's color match (fair) and hydration. It's like a supercharged TM. Thank being said, I won't buy it again and really dislike BBs in general. I see no discernable difference between them and makeup. I use mine only as a base if I want to amp up coverage of my foundation, but beyond that I skip the BB.

I got a sample of this and I have to say I will totally buy the full size when I get the money!! It's so great! I love the color adjusting too. I am light, but they sent me the fair sample and it still looked decent on me. It blends like any other BB cream, very thick, but stayed very well and did its job.

I was really excited to try out this BB-Cream, the description of it sounded fantastic and reviews weren't too bad either. But when I firts applied this, it felt quite heavy and wherever I touched my face the cream peeled off. I do have to say without touching it, it stayed about 7 hours, which I think is pretty good for a BB-cream, plus the finish looked nice and the coverage is medium, which is enough for me.
But, when I removed my make-up I saw that it has caused the worst breakouts I ever had.
I was very disappointed by this product!

I usually use Bare Minerals foundation, but winter makes my skin drier and I heard that BB creams were really good for hydration. I have to say that I really like this BB cream. I purchased the Light and it works well with my pinky skin, because the yellow hue of the BB cream neutralizes my red areas. It offers very little coverage, which is exactly what I want; I just want my skin too look even, but for the price, I can't see repurchasing. I also tried the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream, and if the color had been more yellow, I would've stuck with that one. It offered the same coverage, but the color was too orange.

I will definitely use this up, but in the meantime, I will be looking for a cheaper alternative.

I went to Sephora and was given a sample of this BB cream along with a sample of Urban Decay's Naked Skin BB. I have combination skin, and wanted something with a bit more coverage than a tinted moisturizer.

The Smashbox outperformed the UD by a landslide. I didn't think I would ever pay so much for such a tiny amount of product, but man. This BB cream is luxuriously thick and offers incredible coverage. This + a bit of pressed powder and I am done. It also leaves my skin matte all day. I would definitely recommend it!

this was the first american high-end bb cream i bought. i wanted it because i have pretty oily skin and one of its claims is to "control oil." i am around an nw25/bb warm beige 3.5. i'd say a solid light/medium. so, at the advice of a sephora salesperson who was looking at my face, i purchased, surprise surprise, "light/medium" shade. shame, shame on me for not trying it on but i had a face full o' makeup and was in a hurry and this guy hadn't steered me wrong before. when i put this on the next day, i was like WHOA BUCK --- it was DARK BRIGHT ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i so wanted to like this so i'm gona keep it around til summer when i tan (i don't MEAN to tan, it just happens regardless of my sunscreen being at pool/beach each day). i don't know of the undertones of the "light" or "fair" shades, but if you have pinky light skin, try before you buy!!! oompa loompa doompadeedoo...

I recently purchased this item after my MAC tinted moisturizer ran out. My skin is kind of oily, but during the winter time, it gets dry. So this BB cream is perfect. It feels very moisturizing but does a good job with oil control even after a whole day. It also gives a better coverage than a lot of other BB creams out there. Downside is that it is expensive. I paid about $39 at Sephora for a 1oz bottle. (good for traveling though!)

This is by far my favorite BB cream, and I've tried so many BB creams and tinted moisturizers that I've lost count.

I have cool, fair skin with red undertones and this product matches my skin tone well while covering up the redness, and as long as I cleanse with a make up remover at night it doesn't cause breakouts. (I like Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser the best.) You do need to seal it with a translucent powder, but that goes without saying for any jazz you put on your face for coverage.

The price is higher than I usually like to pay, but after trying some cheaper alternatives I think it's worth it for simplicity and quality. If you have 30 minutes everyday to apply your make up, hats off to you, but I like to get it done in 10 if possible and this is a great way to fast track and know it looks great.

It also doubles as a great base makeup for fancier occasions, since it has the SPF, primer and light coverage.

Age: 36-43   Skin: Dry, Fair   Hair: Red   Eyes: Hazel

About me: Dry/combination, acne prone skin; very pale (natural redhead). I have pinky skin with red patches and dark purple circles under my eyes, but the back of my hands and neck have a touch of golden tone. Most foundation lines do not have a shade that is pale enough. Anyway, BB creams tend to have a limited color selection, so I've been struggling to find one that is pale enough and a good match for my skin tone (whatever that is).

Please note: I've used this product every day for at least one month.

Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35 performs (on me) like a high quality tinted moisturizer, not a BB cream. The fair color leans yellow and is a little too dark for my skin tone, while the texture is a little pasty, and tends to emphasize flaws. However, I can see how this BB cream photographs nicely; there is minimal flash back, yet the finish is a combination of velvet and dewy. Coverage is light-medium. Multitasking functionality is minimal; although this product doesn't aggravate my acne, it doesn't minimize it. Also, this does nothing for redness except provide some yellowish coverage that only lasts for a couple hours. Priming functionality is on par with moisturizer.

Overall verdict: Even if Camera Ready BB Cream matched my skin tone, I would not consider this BB cream as a good value. It is priced around $40 for 1 oz/ 30 mL, which is on the expensive side for a tinted moisturizer.

Am about to start my third tube of the AMAZING product. This is not for dry skin or for skin that needs tons of coverage. But if you have decent, normal to slightly oily skin, this will absolutely perfect it. The coverage is between a tinted moisturizer and liquid foundation. It primes my skin for concealer and blush. And I love the SPF. I don't use any thing but this (no additional moisturizer, primer or foundation) as this truly does it all. My HG skin product as it truly makes my skin look naturally fantastic vs. made up. As an NW20, I use this in light, NYX HD concealer in beige for under eye and CG trublend to set. (PS - Yes it's expensive, but as I don't need moisturizer, primer and foundation it's a relative bargain).

Age: 30-35   Skin: Combination, Fair, Cool   Hair: Blond   Eyes: Blue

DESCRIPTION OF ME: Caucasian PPP (Lancome Color ID I-10 C, Teinte Idole Ivoire 2 C) with normal to dry skin.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: BB cream that supposedly not only covers imperfections, but also can improve your skin over time.

PACKAGE: Small, black tube-style container (1 fl oz.). Ideal for travel.

CONSISTENCY/TEXTURE: Considering the fact this is supposed to be a lighter option, I was surprised by the thicker consistency of this BB cream. Felt slightly mask-ish and tight on my face, but I chalk that up to normally wearing a mineral powder foundation most days.

APPLICATION: After moisturizing and prepping my face, I placed pea-sized amounts on my cheeks, forehead, and chin. Using a foundation brush, I blended the BB cream all over for a seamless look.

SMELL: Very faint, chemical smell that wasn’t unpleasant.

STAYING POWER: In a word: nonexistent. After first applying/blending, it looked gorgeous and even. However, about 2-4 hours after putting it on, it began to fail, big-time. Not only did it settle into creases on the face, but it peeled and flaked all around my nose and mouth as well, accompanied by a tight, tugging feeling on my face. Hugely disappointed! I tried it again with primer (even though supposedly BB creams don’t require it), and it was marginally better. Somehow, it still managed to highlight flakes and wrinkles, but maybe lasted about 5 hours before becoming unsightly. FAIL x BIG= SAD

NATURAL?: Yes, until the flakes/wrinkles show up.

COLOR: Beautiful. I chose Fair, and it blended perfectly. Gorgeous color, but again, it flaked off in record time.

SUNSCREEN: 35 SPF, before flaking. After that, I can’t be sure :-/

IRRITATION/BREAKOUTS: None.

OVERALL: Very disappointed! Giving this 1 Lippie, because zero is not an option. Even though the color was spot on and it has good sunscreen, that ceases to matter when it flakes off your skin within a few of hours. Pricey mistake at $39. Moving on to another brand!

INGREDIENTS: ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Octinoxate 7.50%, Octisalate 4.0%, Oxybenzone 2.50%, Titanium Dioxide 1.10%

Thanks to Seclusae2 for the layout!

I love this product! I have normal skin with some shine on my nose and chin. I use this and top it with BareMinerals Ready powder (the one in the compact). I love the finish, which looks fresh and lasts all day, and I have had a lot of people tell me that my skin looks great since I started using these two together.
This is the only BB cream I have tried, and I do wish it was cheaper, but I am a big fan of it. You do need to spread it quickly once you put it on, it "sets" almost right away. I find it easiest to do a dot on my nose and spread that on my nose, cheeks and chin, and then to do another small dot on my forehead.

I have oily skin. This product is very thick and does not spread well if moisturizer is used under or on top of it. Used alone, my face looks and feels greasy. Used with powder, by the end of the day the greasy look is back.

After using this product for a week, I broke out on my jaw line and in the T zone and it made my skin very dry and flaky. Using this BB cream on any dry skin makes the dry skin even more noticable. This BB cream was also difficult to wash off. After washing my face I still had residue on my cotton ball when toning.

I have stopped using this product and my skin has cleared up. I would not recommend this product.

The good thing about this product is that it does not irritate my sensitive skin and does provide decent coverage and has a high SPF. However, as others have stated, it is drying and tends to clump and cake when applying. And if I have any skin flakiness at all, it makes it more visible. I have kind of gotten around this by mixing it with my moisturizer, which helps it to go on smoother and prevents it from caking to the dry areas. I'll keep using it this way because it works and it's too expensive to waste, but I won't spend money on it again.

Luckily, I got this as a sample (yes... I know I didn't purchase it, but I tested it and find that I cannot bring myself to purchase a full size of this). Anyway, I received the medium shade and was excited that I was told it was really good and had full coverage (I have sensitive skin, that was acne prone, and I have terrible acne scars still). So I tried a test patch on my arm first and saw nothing bad; so I decided to put it on my face the next day. I used my fingers and rubbed the product between them and started to rub it on my face. The good thing about this product is that it is very pigmented and a little of it goes a long way. However, it was too thick, very sticky (took forever to feel matte even after setting powder-- I used ELF HD powder, MUFE powder, and a MAC powder on different occasions to compare), and smelled strongly of sunscreen (has SPF 35, which is a great thing, however, the smell was too strong). Even though it was thick and sticky, it had left my skin quite dried and flaky. After wearing the bb cream for about 3-4 hours (without any touch ups), it already faded significantly. Also, unlike a traditional bb cream, Smashbox claims that their "tinted cream formula with SPF 35 moisturizes, primes, perfects, controls oil, and protects for flawless skin on set and beyond." I found that the SPF is great, it does not moisturize, the primer in the bb cream is not long-wearing, it definitely controls oil (but dried out my skin), and I did not find any protecting qualities. To me, it was a very cakey and heavy foundation with mattifying/drying properties.

I would recommend this product to people who have skin on the oily side and are looking for full coverage. I do not recommend this product for people with oily skin (or even normal skin), acne prone skin, sensitive skin, or are looking for benefits from a bb cream.

Personally, I will not purchase this product.

I asked the Ulta SA what BB cream or tinted moisturizer she'd recommend me. She told me she loved this product (as I've tried the other she recommended- it didn't work for me). I wanted to like this product. I had it applied to the back of my hand (dry skin). While it made my skin feel very soft and look hydrated, it also seemed drying. I'm not sure if that makes sense. I wouldn't put this on my face though. Something about it makes it seem almost like a cream or mousse where it'd cake on my skin and cause me to break out. The search is still on.
