This product is horrible and simply doest work! You would expect that such a pricy deo at least will perform as well as a chip drug store one. Nope. Few hours after application I was disgusted with myself, had to change and wash my shirt. Don't even bother to try it!

Smelled great in the rollon - but unfortunately a few hours after showering I have sticky underarms with this product and I have NEVER smelled an 'underarm' smell from me before using Mum or Dove, but I do with this. Sorry - does not get my vote!

I tried this in the Fresh & Floral stick, and while I must say that the scent floored me (a really beautiful, feminine, sweet smelling rose-like scent to my nose...), the performance of the product disappointed big time. I've used other natural deodorants before and must say that this one was the worst of them all. It did go on nice and smooth and didn't seem to leave the slightest bit of residue behind, but within less than 2 hours I was able to smell body odor coming through. None of the natural deodorants that I've used lasted as long as the unnatural ones, but the others at least gave me a good 5-6 hours of protection....but not this one. The only things that kept me from giving this a 1 is the lovely scent and the fact that it didn't leave residue behind.

What a crap! This only worked for 2 hours although I had shower in the morning! Maybe, it's due to my chemistry... I had high hopes for this one, since it is paraben-free and without aluminium...

I have been using this stuff for about 2 months. I own Fresh & Floral and Chilled & Breezy.
I am probably not the best person to review this b/c I don't really get smelly underarms. Some days I don't wear deodorant and I don't even realize it.
I will say that the deoDRY thing doesn't really describe this product. I don't think I've ever sweated more w/ any other deodorant. It's not anything major or awful, but I'm sure it wouldn't keep most people dry. But it will keep you fresh.
I like the scent. Love the fact that it's not harmful. I think the bottle is cool. Reminds me of the newest 'tend skin' bottle.
==BTW: I have the roll on. Which is liquid. The solid stick probably does fight better against sweating.

This was a huge wast of my money. I picked up Fresh & Floral in the stick form, smells nice & fresh but it doesn't keep me dry nor fresh !!!! it stooped working on me in about 5 hours though it claims to keep you fresh for 24 hours ! will not buy again for sure
update: now it works for only two hours !!!!!! horrible stuff im throwing it away right now.

A non-aluminum deo that keeps me dry and leave no white residue??? Yep. It totally, actually, in every way works. Even on sweaty, hormonal days. Plus it smells good (I got the green one).
The girl in the store told me the roll-on was stronger than the stick, so I went with the roll-on. From reading the other reviews, I think maybe others bought the stick - maybe that's just not as effective? I, too, tend to prefer a stick (who doesn't?) but this roll-on isn't nearly as sticky, take as long to dry, or is as plain annoying as I remember roll-ons being in the past. Either they've improved the technology or this particular liquid is just better in general.
And I love that the packaging features a reusable bit, so much better for the environment.
There is a little sting if I put it on immediately after I shave, but as long as I put on a tiny bit of lotion on in between, there's no problem.
Lovetylove this stuff.

I have only tried a couple of natural deodorants and I can also say this was the best one of them. I have it in chilled & breezy. It doesn't obviously stop me from sweating but it deals with smells pretty well considering the ingredients. Would buy again.

As someone who has tried lots of other deodorants without aluminum (just off the top of my head--Tom's of Maine, Dr. Hauschka, those random clear hard rock-type bars you find at Whole Foods, and the powders and solids from Lush), I have to say that this is the only one that has so far been sucessful. I bought the "chilled & breezy" stick, and I've been using it for 4 days so far (in swelteringly hot and humid weather). It doesn't keep you all that dry, since it is just a deodorant and not an anti-perspirant, but honestly that doesn't bother me at all. My pits DO NOT SMELL at the end of an 8 hour day, and that's pretty amazing, given that I would alwats start to smell if I forgot to put my regular Dove deodorant/antiperspirant on for just one day.
It smells pretty generic and normal to me--kind of clean and grassy, not overpowering. Once you put it on it doesn't really smell like anything. I also put it on freshly shaven skin and it doesn't irritate me at all--and LOTS of things irritate my skin--so I'm incredibly happy with this purchase. I hope TBS never discontinues it!
EDIT: Had to stop using it, unfortunately. Made me itch like crazy a few weeks later, so it didn't work out :( Hope no one else experiences this!!

I am a HUGE Body Shop fan, but I am sad to say I didn't like this deodorant at all. I got the scent Fresh & Floral in the stick form.
I didn't like the shape of it when you first get it, it's almost square which makes it awkward to apply. The smell was ok, but if anything a little too strong.
It didn't work very well for me either as far as keeping me dry and smelling good; at the end of the day I don't think I smelled as fresh as I would have liked to. Mind you, it was a warm day, but still, I don't EVER notice this with my other deodorants.
I would definitely not re-purchase.

Today is day 3 of using the floral scented stick during a heat wave. I didn't have high expectations because I find even the so-called clinical strength anti-perspirants don't work for me, but I've been pleasantly surprised! I don't find the scent overpowering at all, it's quite nice. And I've stayed pretty dry, no worse than regular anti-perspirants if not a little better. When my stick runs out I will gladly pay the full price of $8 for a new one!

These just came out in the US this week and I was excited to try these deodorants. The come in three scents (fresh & floral; chilled & breezy; cool & zesty). One is floral, one is clean/blue, and one is citrus. They come in stick or roll on (the roll-ons being refillable), cost $8 regular price (on sale for $4 right now). The do not contain aluminum, and are made with volcanic mineral and essential oils.
I chose the floral roll-on & stick and the blue stick. The floral roll-on is way to strong, almost like floral air freshener, and I could not take the smell after application, it was very strong. The stick smelled better when I tested it on my arm (reminded me of one of the old Tickle deodorants if anyone remembers those), but under my arms it was sticky and also made me think of cheap air freshener. The scent of the blue one is not as offensive. I did not pick up the citrus one because in the store I thought it smelled like a lemon cleaning product.
Overall, these did not perform well on me, if anything they accentuate body odor and smell like cheap cologne used to mask B.O. I may use the stick over an unscented product just to use it up, but I am disappointed with the performance and the scents.

I bought this in White Musk because I adore the fragrance. I wanted to love it for this reason alone, but alas, it makes my skin sting when I apply it, especially after shaving. And it's not a light sting either - it is actually quite painful. I have put up with it for one bottle, but will not be re-purchasing. Apart from that, it does work well to keep me dry, even during exercise. Oh, and did I mention that it smells sublime? ;-) Not worth the pain though!

This was my old favourite. I usually go for unscented, but this had just the lightest Lily of the Valley (Muguet) scent to it. I normally don't like that sweet of a fragrance, but it dried down nicely. It also worked brilliantly for me--I don't sweat too heavily, but need more than just a deodorant. Once again TBS discontinued something that I love. I could never find it in town when I wanted it, so on annual trips back to Canada, I would stock up. I remember paying around the same price for it, like $7.50 CDN and USD. Which for me qualifies as a fairly pricey anti-perspirant. Last time I went up, I was told that they were coming out with a new anti-perspirant in the Fall (I visited in August) or Winter sometime. I hope to find it here in the States, but I haven't had any luck yet!

This is a very good anti-perspirant and a decent deodorant. It's got a scent, mainly roses I think, but once it's dried it's very faint. It's definitely the best antiperspirant/deodorant I've ever tried. I subtract one point for the price and the slight irritation I get from it sometimes. I will certainly buy this again.
