its just too gorgeous!! i was on the longest hunt for a pink blush that wouldn't emphasize the redness/acne in my skin and i have found it! i'm a nc35 & i always use this blush with my 187 brush. loverock is a cottoncandyish bubblegum pink against my skin. there's shimmer in this and keep in mind shimmer and glitter are 2 different things. the shimmer isn't exaggerated, i feel like it just makes your skin look more glowy.

A liiiitle too dark for my liking (lighter than NC15) and left a weird frost on my face which made me look greasy. I ended up dropping a different blush & shattered $22+tax ;< I wish MAC would have a better way of packaging their fragile mineralized items.

I normally shy away from anything "mineralized". That mineral makeup glow does not look good on me. I won't wear mineral foundations and I avoid frosted highlighters.
So I was a bit wary of this blush, which has a sheen to it and also has a built-in highlighter. But I saw someone wearing it in a YouTube video, and as soon as I saw it I thought it was a really beautiful shade that might work for me.
And it did! I love the color. It's highly pigmented yet looks very natural on. It was very easy to blend and it lasted all day. As for the purplish highlighter, it was so subtle that I didn't feel shiny or glowy at all.
I applied it with a regular fluffy blush brush, but with a very light hand. I just barely touched the brush to the surface of the blusher, picking up all the colors, and then applied it lightly to my cheek, then blended it really well with the same brush.
It's a really nice color and I can tell that this is going to be one of my favorite blushes. I would repurchase if I used mine all up and if it became available again. (It's limited edition.)
I took off one lippy because I would have liked it better if it was all matte. I know, that's not the point of the mineralized products, but that's what it takes to satisfy me 100%.
For reference, I'm an NC30 skin tone. (Light-medium golden tone.)

This one is pretty pigmented, and the colors are gorgeous! One of the prettiest pink's I've ever seen. Gives a beautiful shimmery pink glow. Too bad these are LE.

This blush is mostly comprised of a purpley/pink/silver color. The purple shows up a lot more then I would have liked, and a little goes a looooong way. I like this blush a lot, but I can only wear it with certain colors. It also does leave a frost on your cheeks so I recommend it more for night time.

Sorry girls, I kinda hated the frostiness that this blush left on my cheeks. Even with gentle stippling it didn't work on me and the silver bits tended to fall of my cheeks after time. Very pigmented though and may be pretty for girls who might like this look for a night out.

my new favourite blush by far! i was trying to stay away from the grand duo collection as im attempting to save money but this just looked so beautiful, the highlight colour is really pretty and the blush has just the right amount of pigmentation - very little amount required, i have been applying with my 187 as it gives a more sparse application which is perfect. the highlight colour combined with the blush when the brush is swirled in is my perfect shade its the perfect pink with just the right amount of shimmer - i would recommend this for anyone.
At first i thought the blush was comparable to tippy from the hello kitty collection but i actually think love rock is just that little bit better, the pink is lighter than that of tippy - perfect for a natural looking glow. I would happily wear love rock everyday, and i also am looking forward to summer when i can go without foundation and add a touch of love rock to give me a bit of a glow :]

This blush requires a light hand, but I love it. It gives my NW20 skin a nice healthy glow.

I have no idea why this blush is so popular. It is by far the FROSTIEST blush I have ever seen, and it is bright pink to boot. It is so frosty and pink that it is utterly ridiculous, like something Tammy Faye Bakker (bless her little white trash heart) would have worn.

It's a but pricey but it's soooo pretty! It has a lot of shimmer so a light application is key.. I usually lightly layer this on top of cream blush or any creamy base to give it some staying power.....

I love MAC mineralize products and this is no exception. Yes its very shimmery but its not glittery. The shimmer particles are very fine and is enough to make you look glowy. Not shimmery like NARS super orgasm with its big chunky glitter or Hungry heart which is pretty to look at but too glittery on the cheeks. Its described as a pink violet color. Basically it is a blue based pink which looks really pretty on the cheeks although it looks quite scary in the pan. I will repurchase if I ever run out. :)

I have recently become obsessed with pinky lavender shades of everything so I had to have this. When I first got it home I thought it might be too similar to NARS Angelika to keep both but Angelika is much more pink where LS definately has lavender undertones on the skin. I have FFF olive skin (NW25ish) and this shade is very complimentary. It wears pretty well and no irritation for me which is great. It's also quite pretty to look at :)

I got this because I saw my favourite youtube guru doing a video on it and it looked great on her. For reference, I'm an NC37-40 with tan skin.
Generally, I really dislike anything shimmery...it just looks garish and too obvious on me. However, I still decided to get this blush. It's pretty expensive - just under £17 for 3.2grams...it's a rip off but oh well, it's LE. I take my 188 brush and use the lightest side as a highlight on my cheekbones, and the blush on the apples of my cheeks. The colour is very pretty - a medium rosy pink on me. The shimmer is visable, but it's not over the top. It gives me a sheen, not big chunks of glitter/shimmer of my face. Lasting power is good, I didn't have to touch up throughout the day. Many have said this would only suit cool toned ladies...I disagree. This blush looks good on my warm toned golden skin. :)
I'm happy with this product, but I wouldn't repurchase...IMO, there will be cheaper dupes of this, and it's way too expensive for 3.2g. However, it's a nice blush to have if you're willing to splash out the cash.

Love this color. Sheer application works best. It's very easy to over-apply this color so use a brush that doesn't pick up as much product.
Gives my skin a luminous glow. I wish there were a little bit more contrast between the main color and the melange (when swatched they are similar) but I still love this blush. Would def buy again.

Pretty bubblegum pink color, I missed out on Pleasantry but I'm so happy because Love Rock is just as pretty if not the same as Pleasantry and fashion frenzy (matte). I think Love Rock is more pigmented than Pleasantry so as with these a little goes a long way. Anyways for reference I'm nc30/35 nw30 studio fix c4 and it looks natural like a cold winter's day natural on me.

This is my favorite blush. I love the color which is like a Barbie pink. I took off a lippie because for the price it does not last all day. It's not a special blush but it is a nice blush to have especially because it has dual colors. I was disappointed because it did not appear shimmery or glittery like most people said on her. I was hoping that it was but I do recommend this blush.

Love this! I saw a lot of youtube reviews on it, and I saw the colors and I wanted to get it right away. I love how there is a built in highlighter as well. It definitely gives my blush a new dimension to it. I use this blush however for going out or specal occassions because I do think its dramatic. It is highly pigmented, and a little goes a long way. Plus I thought it was expensive so I didnt want to use to everyday. Its more baby pink so I wouldnt use it everyday. For everyday look, i Like more of a natural nude flush so this wouldnt be it. Plus it is very shimmery. I love it though and will definitely buy it again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this blush. Applies a gorgeous pink with subtle shimmer, this was my favorite from the Grand Duos collection. One side is a highlighter, one is more for color. At 22$ it's a steal! Definitely a must-have for fair/medium skintones!
