I love this shadow! It is very a very pigmented highlighting greyish/purplish shade although those colors are VERY light, so that it just seems to be a cool shimmer. It looks great on my browbone and the inside corners of my eyes. It will last forever as far as I can tell. The only complaint (and I dont really consider it a valid one because I knew what I was getting in to when I bought it) is that it is loose powder. I'm a big mess, so this type of eyeshadow always ends up being a disaster. So far, I haven't dropped it on the floor, or my leg, or my cat, but it will happen. Until then, I love it!

Celestine is my everyday eye shadow. When I don't feel like messing with liner I just swipe this on with my BE tapered shadow brush and I'm set. The color to me is a medium taupe, although I can see the slight purple and silver in it that others see, I myself would not call it purple. It is an interesting color that goes very well with my medium brown eyes, and I will definitely purchase again :) BTW I am also pretty pale and this goes well with my skin tone, and I could see it going well with darker tones as well.

I'd say this is a silvery/brown color, very light and shiny. Celestine goes well with many different colors.....therefore I will surely buy this again!

Edited 7.08: I'm upgrading this to a "5". I'd surely buy this again. I'm sure mine will last forever, but it's a very pretty, and versatile color. A medium brown-grey taupe with mauve-y pink/purple tones to it and very glimmery/metallicy looking. A gorgeous neutral wash/lid color. Quite noticeable. I think it's darker and more mauvey-pink/purple than Nude Beach; this is more of a lid/wash color but I don't think I'd wear it as up high as the browbone, I wear it up to the crease. Looks beautiful foiled and really brings out the green in my eyes. Decent lasting power with the appropriate base, as with all mineral shadows, you need the right base. I have found I need to be careful not to apply too much on the brush otherwise this one can crease early. Better to foil/layer than to overapply the mineral pigment powder on the brush.

I would say this is very close in color to nude beach. This is a nice color because you can wear it alone or layer it on top of a darker mineral color like BE Nice Rock. It goes on dry, but leaves a nice shine on your lids.

I am really beginning to love BE's Glimmers, because these shadows are exactly what they say, glimmery. This one is just a gorgeous shade of a silvery, plummy taupe. Beautiful worn alone, it just adds a lovely touch of soft color to the eye without being overly frosty. Excellent color for everyday wear. I usually get these from QVC or Sephora. Price is $13-$14 USD, but like they say, you need so little, one is almost a liftime supply. Will definitely repurchase if I ever run out!

I tried this color on the other day at the new BE store. It was beautiful on, and while a couple of other colors turned on me, this remained true. It is a beautiful taupe color. I gave it low ratings as my eyes broke out in a severe red rash within minutes. Hopped down to Sephora for some make up remover, but two days later, there is still some burning. Won't purchase!

This shadow is GORGEOUS. It is a light purple to me..I don't see any taupe like others have described. Purple-silver touch....
Looks great alone OR with Rimmel's smokey purple quad. Makes your eyes pop!
Fabulous color ;)

I have had this same pot for years and I use it almost every day! This is a beautiful light shimmery eyeshadow. I also use it sometimes to highlight my brow bone. It might be my favorite shadow... ;-)

Perfect nighttime shadow goes with about any other color you pair it with. (I think it's a tad too shiny for daytime)
Not a huge fan of BE packaging though, it always spills or leaks out the side.

I love this glimmer!!! It looks like a medium silver but is actually a light taupe shimmer (not glitter) and it's prefect for daily use - day or evening to highlight or to use over the lid. Paired with some smudged black or dark brown eyeliner, it makes the perfect smoky eye. Love this one!!

I really like this eyeshadow. I've never tried BE before, but really liked the color so I bought it. The color is such a beautiful neutral with a really pretty shimmer. Sometimes to intensify the color, I take a flat eye shadow brush (Bobbi Brown Touch Up brush) and spritz it with water. The color becomes a little deeper and the shimmer is very apparent. It's really pretty for a bit of a neutral eye, but glamed up a bit for night time!

I love this shade. It's a bit on the unpigmented side, but that's okay by me as I wear it to work. It's a sparkly taupey-mauve shade. Since I've purchased it I've used it almost every day, which is a small feat in and of itself.

This is possibly my favorite eye shadow. I've had this for years, and I'm still on my first pot. And there's still plenty left.
It's versatile, and very sparkly. Since I'm young, I have no qualms about glimmer...but I could see how some may feel it's a little too much for daytime. I still wear it day, night, it's too pretty to say no!
I have blue eyes and I feel it really makes them pop. I often layer this over my Stila "Viola", which is a smokey plum. Together, they work really well for adding a little bit of smokey drama that's safe for a PPP. It's my tried and true look when combined with a dark brow eye liner (I use BE's bark for this)
The staying power isn't as good as it could be... I feel that it fades away a little. I don't use primer though, so maybe that would help.
If I ever run out of this, I'll definitely purchase more! It's such a nice color that adds glamor and polish, but doesn't over-power your make-up look. It's special, but it isn't too loud.

WAAAAY too sparkly for daytime, but pretty for any other occasion. All the mineral shadows from BE have little staying power unless you use a primer.

My fav BE Glimmer so far! Universally flattering in my opinion. BE eyeshadow can hold their own against my Mac piggies! :-)

This comes as part of the Smokey Eye Tutorial kit, along with Skyline. The other reviews describe the color well and I agree that it is fantastic! IMO it is very shiny and looks great when paired with Skyline which is a dark smokey bluish color.
I haven't tried it with other colors though and I will take some of the recommendations from here to experiment - thanks, ladies, b/c I wouldn't be sure what to pair this with. I have worn it alone and it creates a dramatic (but not too much so) look for daytime. I've even worn a lite smokey eye to work and received a bunch of compliments.
Of course, same terrible packaging as the other BE e/s - a little pot with a screw-lid. However, the packaging of the Tutorial Kit does have a detailed description of 2 ways to create a smokey eye which was great for me.

I bought this according to rave reviews here, I was a little leary because I am 48 and would love to have a little glimmer on my eyes but have never found anything that works for my age. This did not disappoint, not too over the top and does not enhance my crepeness or wrinkles. I recommend it ladies.
Update - I find this hard to use now and a little too glittery for my older eyes. The shade isn't brightening, lends itself to more of a dull/glittery look that isn't that wearable for me personally.
