Really liked this foundation, but sadly it doesn't work for my dry skin (emphasized flakes). Other than that, the finish was very nice. Too bad it contains alcohol! Best for someone who is oily.

Bought this foundation because of the range of colour for fair skinned people. I am NC15 (porcelain in Laura Mercier's TM) and find it hard to find a foundation that is pale enough. Diorskin Nude has the perfect colour selection for pale skins, not too sure what it is like for darker skins.
It is more matte than I thought it would be but that doesn't bother me as I prefer a matte look. It is a natural matte look and isn't cakey. It might be more matte on me, because I don't wear a primer or a moisturiser underneath, just because I am plain lazy.
I have a very oily T Zone, especially on my nose and this foundation kept the oil at bay for a good few hours. It also had good staying power as well. Although I don't have acne prone skin, some foundations have made my skin break out, such as Estee Lauder's Double Wear Light and Revlon Colour Stay, however Diorskin Nude seems to be complimentary to my skin.
A medium to full coverage and quite possibly my HG foundation.

I blame myself for hating this product! It is clearly a hydrating foundation, and I'm of the oily skin variety, so it was bound to end in tears. It's a light coverage foundation and I do love how it looks on my skin directly after applying, but within a few hours my blemishes are visible, the redness in my cheeks has been brought out and my oily t-zone breaks through so badly. I would still use it if I were after a very natural look and I only needed it to last a couple of hours, but for an every foundation this just isn't for me.

This is close to my HG but, not quite it. I just need a little more coverage but, I never use concealer so maybe I'll try it with the concealer next time. This foundation makes your skin look dewy and the make up is so natural looking and light weight. The pump gets clogged very easily and a good amount of it dried out because of it. I guess you just have to keep it up right and closed at all times to help prevent the problems with the packaging. I did notice that after a few months of use the product didn't seem to work as well but, I realized it was because the product was drying out over time.
Overall the foundation is amazing. PROS:
-Light-medium coverage
-Natural, dewy finish,
-Extremely light weight
-Stays in place when set with powder and MAC FIX + (my must have product)
CONS:
-Faulty packaging
-Dries out over time
-Not enough coverage (must use a concealer)

Oh how I wanted to love this foundation!
It all started last summer. I was looking for a new foundation to try and I thought why not treat myself to some "designer" makeup.
I went to the Dior counter in Debenhams and the lady was very friendly. She recommended me to try the new Diorskin Nude as it is supposed to give a natural glowing airbrushed finish. Pretty much everything I want in a foundation.
She applied the makeup and I must say it did look AMAZING.
She even gave me a little tub with a few pumps so I could bring home and try for the next few days. So I did.
I was so pleased with it that I eventually bought myself this little "miracle" for €40!!!!! I never spend that much money on one single item of makeup but I thought it looked so nice that it was well worth it.
Now, I dont know what happened because every single time I apply it it just looks, lets say, not so great anymore.
I have a strict routine of cleansing and moisturizing before I apply makeup.
This foundation just doesnt deliver for me anymore. Im not saying it is the worst thing ever but it doesnt look airbrushed or dewy anymore. It looks a bit dull and sets on any little dry patch I have on my skin, it actually brings out the ones I cant see without make up on.
Then I thought maybe it was because I used powder to set it and thats why it lost its glow. but no.
I gave it a second chance and applied it over primer, same thing happened. I applied it with a different brush, with a sponge, with my fingers....
I am only giving it 3 lippies because although the first few times I used it it did look great, now it doesnt even look as good as my new Catrice foundation (which only cost me €7 and looks fab) so it is a waste of money to pay that much for something that in the end didn't live up to its claims.
It is an average- good foundation, now I use it over a thick layer of nightcream and primer whenever Im on a night out and it looks fine then. But no way during the day time.
I am not repurchasing this product ever again.

It is very good product . But the pump it gets clogged which is very annoying. This is happening even to the first days I bought it. I still have it now , and I have no idea what I could do , because the pump is not working anymore and the product is full of makeup liquid inside.
It is very annoying ..it can not be considered as a cheap product , for a makeup foundation it is very expensive indeed. I am not quite sure if the store will be able to change it for me.. I would like to buy it again but only if they change the pump and replace it with something else so I would not have the nightmare every morning with the clogged pump . Sometimes it is not sure that I will go to work and I would have makeup on me just because of the annoying pump.

DIOR SKIN NUDE GLOW HYDRATING match to wear everyday, for fresh, natural, radiant look..
Texture very runny like water.Remember you must shake it before apply coz the mineral water and fluid foundie sometimes separate. Coverage so sheer, lightweight like second skin but covers much well with build up.I feel no make up but my skin look much better.
Satin finish not quite matte, not quite dewy, glow from with in.
Quite long last after 6 hours until bit fade.
I am sand 2 in Bobbi Brown, linen in ELDW,ivory in Revlon colorstay, primadonna in Graftobian hd,clair 20 in Chanel, ivory in Benefit,4 in Giorgio armani. My shade in Dior is 020 coz my skin not quite yellow,i want to try 021 next.
For u reference.
0=neutral,1=yellow/warm,2=cool 3=peach so 020=neutral,021=yellow etc.
Frankly i am lean yellow tone but 020 look very perfect radiant in my skin.If u nc 20 and have sample around u,try it maybe its match for u .
Some people tell its oxidize, for me shade 020 fresh all day,not greyish.
Yes if u already have good skin like me no pimple, scars, blemish and want people tell how flawless and radiant you face without looking u wear makeup u must tried this.Upss kim kadarshian wear this foundie in her wedding day :-)

I completely had to re write this review. This is one of the WORST foundations I have tried! It was extremely drying and settled into every pore and made me look HAGGARD! The third ingredient is alcohol which is extremely drying to the skin. In no way was this "hydrating". I also broke out really bad from this. It took weeks to recover! Dior never again!

Although this foundation wasn't the right one for me, I can appreciate that it might be perfect for somebody wanting a sheer coverage and has dry-normal skin. The foundation has a gorgeous silky feel to it, almost like a serum or moisturiser. This silky feel would be fabulous for somebody with already nice skin, but my oily t-zone meant that the makeup slid right off after an hour or so. It didn't provide the coverage I need for my blemishes, which is the main selling point for me with foundations. The colour range however was perfect for me, which was a nice surprise because usually I'm too fair for a lot of foundations (NC15)! I think this would be a really nice foundation for a person that doesn't like to wear foundation and doesn't like the feel of it, and doesn't need too much of it.

After years of wearing TMs I felt like I needed to take things up a notch, have tried a few foundations that I liked but didn't love, and tested a lot that were just nasty.
I've been using this for about a month now and am still waiting for it to fail me. So far it hasn't. I've applied it with and without primers (UD, LM, MUFE), with a couple of different sponges, with a foundation brush, and using my fingers. All of these methods work really well with this product, and I've also found that a primer isn't really necessary. (Yay!)
The coverage is great - never heavy, cakey or mask-like, and depending on which tool I use, can go from lighter to full-coverage. Even when applied with a sponge, it covers incredibly well, and applied with a foundation brush, it covers everything while still allowing my skin's natural glow to come through and I don't feel it on my skin.
In that sense, it's similar to a TM, except that it covers everything and my skin looks flawless. The finish is a little hard to pin down - it's neither dewy nor matte, nor really what I'd call a satin, but probably closer to a satin than anything else. It has the effect of giving my skin a softened look - almost airbrushed - which I appreciate now that I'm over 40.
Best of all, it doesn't pool into the pores in my nose, or separate after a few hours of wear, and it blends and builds incredibly well. I have a habit of poking and prodding even after my makeup is set, and with a lot of foundations that can cause them to break up and look patchy. This stuff can take a lot of abuse, and still look perfect. Another reviewer pointed out how finely milled Dior foundations are, and I'm definitely finding this to be the case. Overall, this is about as good as it gets.
I have relatively fair skin (not porcelain, but not into medium territory) and am usually a match for the 2nd lightest color in a foundation range. I got this in Light Beige 20 and on my hand it looked insanely dark, but on my face it seems to adjust to a good match. Few foundation ranges seem to come in neutral shades (I'm neither warm nor cool,) and this is beige without getting into greige territory.

Hmmm.... Dior foundations had never been disappointing for me, im a big foundation junkie, i spent so much money on foundations and would never stop trying new things! So far, dior foundations had won my heart! The fusion wear foundation is jus amazing, this nude hydrating foundation provides less coverage, different formulations, but also a simply winner! Looks so natural on skin, last up to 8,9 hrs, doesnt make my face looks greasy,( however i do need to touch up in betweens) i think that, its very identical to chanel vitalumerie aqua, very light weight everyday foundation, im nc42, i find the shade 30 or 31 both works on me! I personly prefer this better than chanel vita aqua, jus bcoz i think it controls oil better and made of mineralized water!

This product definitely makes your face blot! after using it only 2 times in a row, or maybe just one day, you can see acnes everywhere on your face (eventhough you have a dry, not-acne prone skin)

This is an amazing foundation. I have waited ages to find one that I love! This applies easily with my fingers, covers really nicely and leaves a natural finish. Not too matte and not too dewy. Just perfect. Give it a few moments and it sets to a perfect finish...no smudging or melting off your face here. Hooray!
Seriously, go check this one out!

Love love love. My HG foundation. I'm a Peach 23 which matches so perfectly that I can stop at my jawline - no need to even blend down my neck. I've struggled to find another brand with the same 'odd' undertone that I have - most others are pink or yellow based only, Diorskin Nude has these and also a neutral undertone but it also includes this warmer peach undertone. My skin is combo/oily and a lot of foundations oxidise on my skin but this doesn't - the colour it applies as is how it still looks hours later. It is easy to apply and blend - I use a foundation (paddle) brush and feel I've got plenty of time to blend it before it dries and sets. I only need to dust very lightly with translucent powder around my T-zone.
It's a light/medium coverage which I use fairly sheerly on good skin days and can apply more on problem areas without it looking cakey. I absolutely love the finish as it's so natural - not too matte, not too dewy - aptly named as it is like skin. And with my skin I'm loving it that it doesn't make me oily over the course of the day as some hydrating formulas can do.
The packaging looks classy and the pump system works well for me as I pump only what I thnk I'll need and can squeeze out a little extra if needed so there's no waste here for me. As for lasting power, I do notice it starting to fade after 4-5 hours even with a primer underneath, but it's not supposed to be a long lasting formula and with such a perfect colour match any fading isn't noticable to anyone else until around 7-8 hours anyway. The only negative point for me is the price as it's $77 for a 30ml bottle here in Aus.

No caking, no sliding off my face. I have very oily t zone and very dry flaky cheeks and it's a nightmare trying to find a foundation that doesn't cake AND slide off at the same time. It gives a natural finish. While it won't slide off my face, it doesn't control oil very well but then I use a powder to set anyway. It's easier to control oil with powder than fix foundation caking on dry flakes. Very easy to apply with fingers or brush. I mix it in with moisturiser for a sheerer look for daily use. I use a brush to apply it traditionally for more formal occasions. It just doesn't fail. I've gone from not wearing foundation at all to wearing Diorskin Nude most days.

This foundation is either a Holy Grail or problem item for those who try it, so always get a sample first!
For me after learning that Chanel had discontinued my beloved Pro Lumier I went on the search for a new holy grail. After searching many counters I was reluctant to try this foundation after reading so many reviews regarding how drying it is for people with dry, even normal skin. Upon trying it I fell in love it did not dry out my already dry skin, it in no way looked cakey and had a lovely semi matt, natural finish. I can honestly say it is not my new holy grail. The packaging is beautiful, the formulation silky soft and easy to blend, the colour (010) a perfect match for my pale neutral toned skin. I would say that the coverage is light to a light medium and makes the skin look glowy and healthy without shine whilst lasting for a good 7 hours before I notice wear. However I wouldn’t recommend for oily skins due to the hydrating semi matte formula.

This foundation is amazing. I have acne prone skin that tends to be dry and this provides flawless coverage and moisture. It lasts all day without having to touch up and literally melts into your skin. Blended properly it is undetectable that your wearing foundation and I love how it covers my acne scars. However, it is expensive, so I am trying to use a cheaper foundation for every day wear and using this only when I go somewhere special. I have used this on and off for almost two years and still keep coming back to it…when I can afford it! By the way I am NC20-25 and wear light beige (020) and have purchased cameo (022), which for some strange reason is paler than 020. In the summer I can wear 030, medium beige. I top this off with the Diorskin nude sculpting powder in beige praline. The packaging is fine, nothing special. I like how you dispense the product with a pump, which is hygienic, however, I can’t help noticing that there’s a little wastage when you press down on it, sometimes a little product falls escapes your waiting hands and trickles down the side of the bottle Design fault I presume and not a big issue as you can easily retrieve the escaped product, but it may annoy some people, but I am not at all fussed! Will repurchase, awaiting funds!! `
UPDATE: I think Diorskin sculpt is way better at camouflaging imperfections...It is like a thicker version of nude. I do like this, but I need serious coverage...Something sculpt does better at.

I've had this product for over a year, so I can confidently say that I love this foundation! I have sensitive, acne prone skin that has normal-dry cheeks and normal-oily t-zone. I bought this foundation when I my skin was suffering from horrible cystic acne, and this was the only foundation that didn't aggravate my skin. The ingredients in this foundation is absolutely top notch. I have light-medium/medium skin and I was matched to 21 when I was super pale. I'm back to my normal color now, which should be a 30 or 31.
The staying power of this foundation is pretty good on my combo-oily skin. Although this foundation isn't mattifying, it doesn't make my skin more oily. I need powder in warmer weather and my skin stays shine free for 4-5 hours, although it does take on a healthy glow towards the end of the 4-5 hours. It can definitely transfer on my skin during warmer weather. I do prefer this foundation in colder weather, but I find it wearable all year around since I don't live in an area that gets extremely warm.
As for the application, I find that this foundation is best applied with fingers. Something about this foundation requires warmth. I find this is quite common with the new generation of water based foundations, such as the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua or the new one by Estee Lauder. You also have to shake the bottle vigorously before applying, which can be a pain because the entire bottle, with the exception of the cap, is made out of glass. It's quite a workout for your arms. A plastic packaging would have been more practical.
To elaborate more on the packaging, it's stunning sitting on your vanity...when it's clean. The shiny cap especially attracts fingerprints and can quickly look grubby. The glass part fares better, but can also show fingerprints.
Overall, I do recommend this foundation. It's one of the few foundations my sensitive, acne prone skin actually likes. It has a fairly decent shade selection and provides the most beautiful skin like, airbrushed finish. But try before you buy. I've read that it's oxidized on some people. Hope this was helpful!
