For the complaints about removal, just use olive oil or anything oil-based followed by a cleanser. Easy removal this way. Otherwise, it stays put. Won't move. Keeps eye-makeup clean looking, even on my oily skin.

LOVE these liners. Super super waterproof and come in a great variety of fun colours. I have a green and a maroon one and would love to get more. The brush is long and thin and I think I would prefer it if it was a rubber tip like the other GOSH liners, but not a big deal. Would definitely repurchase.

This stuff won't budge....seriously...even when you are trying to remove it....that being said, i hate the applicator and always just brush a little onto my angled brush instead. i prefer the texture of macs blacktrack but i prefer the staying power of this stuff.

This is waterproof as hell; I've gone surfing in this and it didn't budge at all. I have it in the lightish purple shade, which when applied to the waterline, makes my dark brown eyes stand out like crazy! The only problem I have with it is with the applicator, I feel like it's actually too short, so when I'm applying to the waterline it coats some of my bottoms lashes too, which is annoying as hell. Overall, it's a great alternative to the MAC Liquidlast Liners. I got this at Shoppers for around $10, on sale.

I love this liner.
It is a little bit expensive which is why I have not bought this product till now but Shopper had everything on sale so I went for it and I am so glad that i did. I have it in 01 which is the plum purple. It is extremely waterproof and smudge proof. I put a line on my hand this morning to get the excess off the brush and it is still there after an entire day of hand washing and doing dishes but with the right makeup remover it comes off clean with out and need to tug or scrub.
I love the brush on this product too. I can make both a tiny thin line or a thick line which it great. The colour is also beautiful. I have brown eyes and it just make them pop. I don't always like using a black liner so 01 is a great alternative since it is still dark. I will probably go back and get more colours later this week.

I have to say, Gosh pencils are good enough, they are waterproof, never smudge anyways. I am not a fan of liquid liners to begin with, but not to say this is an amazing product, it is just not for me. I have heard that it is hard to remove, which is not true. I use L'Oreal eye makeup remover, and everything comes off, without having to rube my eyes. What I do is that I put a pad with remover on my eyes, leave it on for 30 seconds, then started to rotate the pad on my lids.
I will recommand this product to liquid liner lovers for sure.

This eyeliner is great! It stays on without smudging or running or anything. The packaging is very very pretty. The down fall to this is its very hard to get off even with eye make-up remover I would rub and rub and rub but there would still be some left over, this eyeliner is very small and for $16 its very expensive.

this product really is very waterproof as it promesses!! if you swatch it on your hand it stays on for about 4 days!!! (I shower everyday and wash my hands several times a day)
It applies quite good but is dries a little slow so don't lookup when you just aplied it, because you will get a transfer and it is really hard to get of!!
there is a beautifull range of colours, I have the dark purple one and the colour pay of is also amazing, I just love GOSH and also there eyeliners

Last through anything. 'nuff said.
I have the 07 (the black one). It says on tube 'extremely waterproof' and boy is it. This liquid liner will last through any excessive crying or a downpour of rain. As well, this stuff will last on oily lids (Mine get oily throughout the day and my liner doesn't disappear!), the colour is black, black, black and dries pretty fast. The formula is ingenious! Kudos to GOSH for creating a long lasting & waterproof liquid eyeliner.
It has a brush tip, which I find easy to handle. However, I find that it picks up a lot of the formula so I have to wipe it off on the sides which ends up drying and clumping, then the clumps get caught in the brush with future uses. The tube is nice and compact; small enough to just stick it in your back pocket.
The price is decent. Originally $16CDN at my local SDM, but I was able to get 15% off and paid roughly $13. But the tube will last a while, I had my last one for 4 and a half months and, as I mentioned before, recently bought a new one.
I would buy this again and recommend it :)

This gets 3 lippies for me, and only for the staying power. Apart from that, this eyeliner is a pain in the arse.
I'm a liquid liner veteran and been through most of drugstore and high end, and no liner has ever clumped up on my lashes like this. I'm not entirely sure why it does that - my guess is that the product gets stuck on the wand above the brush and smears on lashes. Either way, it's a major pain. It's hard to curl my lashes afterwards and my mascara clumps badly. This alone sadly discourages me from repurchasing because I can't get a clean professional result with this liner despite using liquid liner daily for the past 10 years.
The consistency is very creamy, not liquid so you'd think it's very forgiving. Well, no. The product is not even at all, big blobs of liner come up on the brush that you have to swipe on the side of the tub at every application. Once you got the right amount it goes on nicely though, the colour is a true jet black. The applicator is the old school brush type and is very skinny. It's very good for creating thin lines and flicks.
The major selling point for this liner is the lasting power. This is basically indestructible. I applied it, had it on for 20 hours, then went for a 45 minute hot shower, washed my eyes and face with foaming wash, exfoliated my skin, rubbed my face with a towel AND IT WAS STILL ON. It barely cracked. It's quite amazing. I have quite watery eyes and my liner usually runs in the corner of my eyes. Not this.
Getting it off is a bit of a pain though, I used baby oil and it does need some serious wiping to come off. It tends to get stuck at the base of your lashes and give panda eyes the next morning.
Overall this is not a liner I'm going to use everyday. It's difficult to apply nicely and just as difficult to remove. I mostly wear it when I go out or I just sweep some in my outer corners to prevent my other liner from running.

Let me tell you, I think this stuff holds on better than CAR PAINT ! I am a MAC addict and have used their waterproof liquid liner for years and love it, never finding anything that even comes close to the same quality. However, while at work one day in the cosmetic department I discovered this baby. It comes in a range of shades, my favourite being the black and plum toned purple. It holds on remarkably well and WILL NOT flake. However, it is next to impossible to find a makeup remover to take it off. I would suggest something fairly oily like Biotherm or my favourite, Lancome. Coming in at 5 dollars cheaper than the MAC counterpart, this is a great eyeliner for those on a budget who want professional results

I have both the silver (19) and gold (#20) glitter eyeliners just for fun when they were on sale at Shoppers for 40% off. I think they would go well with a nighttime look, HOWEVER, the first time I put it on, it made my black liquid eyeliner streak off. Also, it seemed like the silver glitter is more glittery than the gold. Either way, I'm glad I didn't purchase them full price. They are only OK for nighttime looks and you have to be very careful of where you place them (this may be different for the solid coloured liners).

I purchased this product (in the dark purple shade) as I heard it was a cheaper alternative to my beloved MAC Liquidlast. Although it looks very similar (packaging/brush/size etc) the formula is definitely different.
I find the consistency of the product to be more gel-like than the liquidlast and the colour payoff isn't as intense. With the purple I need a to layer the product to get the defined look that I like. The artliner also doesn't dry as quickly as the Liquidlast and it seems to remain in its jelly state longer.
One thing that is similar though is that it stays put. Once the liner dries it's on your lids with no smudging until you use an oil based remover! I don't mind the brush at all. I initially used a separate brush but now I'm comfortable using the built in brush.
Overall - I think that I will stick with the MAC - for a few dollars more (i think the Artliner was $16CAD at SDM vs $20CAD for a MAC Liquidlast) I prefer the intense colour and defined line I can get with the Liquidlast.

ok, most importantly, this eyeliner is LONG LASTING! i usually use mac liquidlast but find it goes gunky in the tube very quickly, this product is cheaper and seems to be holding up much better. they give a nice line and i find the brush good to use (but then i do prefer fine brushes). i use the black and a deep metallic plum colour which suit me fine. i find the other colours in the range rather cheap looking however, bright and gaudy which isn't my style.
overall there are a few beautiful colours in the range, which i will continue using as they give a nice line and lasting finish, but for other shades i prefer the more sophisticated range that mac produces.

i love this liner. i have oily eyelids, so even waterproof liners and gel liners smudge on me. this is the first liner to actually stay on with absolutely no smudging whatsoever. the only things i don't like about this liner are: it takes a while to dry and it's very difficult to remove. otherwise, this liner is fabulous!

I find this eyeliner very disappointing overall. It's too sticky, and it takes forever to dry. If you blink, it will stick to other portions of your eyelid, and it's also very difficult to remove, especially if you get some on your eyelashes too.
The colors are superb - I have 01 and 06 - but the shimmer fades away as soon as it dries.
Bottom line, it's a complete disaster unless your makeup remover is really efficient. I'm definitely not buying this again.

Closest thing to permanent eyeliner I've come accross. Gosh eye makeup remover takes it off ok, but Neutrogena eye makeup remover works much better. Other than removal issues if you are using the wrong product, it's great not to worry about eyeliner running all day, and night...

I recently replaced my MAC Splashproof mascara with GOSH's Perfect Lift 'N Shape waterproof mascara and was very satisfied with the switch (the Splashproof was crumbley), so I thought I'd also try to replace my MAC Liquidlast eyeliner with GOSH's Extreme Art Eyeliner (would be great to avoid making the trip all the way over to MAC since all of the locations are out of my way). However, I wasn't nearly as happy with the GOSH liner as I had been with their mascara. It applied the same way as Liquidlast and seemed compareable at first, but then after a couple hours, I noticed it had started fading in the inner and outer corner of my eyes. I have allergies and the corners of my eyes are always moist because my eyes are always tearing up. Then in another couple hours, the liner was pretty much completely gone from those areas, which made my eyemakeup look like quite a mess. I wore it for 2 more days and only got the same result. My MAC Liquidlast NEVER does this. It literally lasts all day (and night) every single time, regardless of what you put it through. So, I'd say that this liner is probably water-resistant in that a bit of moisture will go right over it and not affect it, but it's not waterproof because it can't hold up to moisture for extended periods of time. I ended up returning this eyeliner and I'm sticking with my MAC Liquidlast, which is the only eyeliner I've ever come across that can put up with the beating that my eyes put it through. This eyeliner might be water resistant enough for some, but I would still recommend Liquidlast over this liner because it's just more waterproof and reliable. Liquidlast may cost a few bucks more, but it is better quality and you also get to take advantage of the Back To MAC program.
