This is by far one of the most awful foundations I have ever tried. First of all, who wants a 25 hour wear foundation. I hope most people would wash their face at least once a day. That aside, this made me oily and did NOT EVEN HIT THE 8 HOUR MARK FOR WEAR!!!!! I looked horrible in this, even with a primer and Blot Powder. I would never ever purchase this crap again. I would not recommend this product to anyone, especially if they have oily skin. This was $8 in CVS, I'll stick with my Estee Lauder Double Wear. Yes, it's $34 but hey, I just learned, you get what you pay for!

A few months ago, I saw this foundation on clearance at Walgreens for $3 something. I thought "Hey. Let's try a new foundation. If it sucks, I didn't spend much money on it." Boy, to my surprise, this foundation is actually really good. It is easy to blend. The coverage is medium. I love the semi-matte finish it gives me. I have no oil what so ever. It actually lasted very well in Houston's humid and hot weather. It wasn't running off my face when I took a walk in downtown Houston in 98-100 degree weather. My only problem is that it is pretty liquidy when I squeeze it out. Other than that, I love this foundation.

this is my HG foundation. its a semi matte finish foundation which means it gives a shiny look when applied. now this is why many ppl hate this foundation-its because it looks very sticky and shiny afterwards. and i just think ppl arent using it correctly. yes it does look a little bit shiny and heavy but here are my tips. first, apply it one section at a time. use a foundation brush, dont rush it. just little strokes one at a time. second, if you slap too much on, it will look cakey. so less is more. third, you need to use a setting powder. i use my hg maybelline shine free loose powder. this will get rid of that shine and stickiness and you will get a full matte finish look if you use a powder. it provides med-full coverage. look, if you have bad skin, then this stuff does amzaing things. lasting power is good if you use a setting powder, i say 4-6 hours. so this is a great foundation for work or going out.
i use 200 soft beige-its slightly darker but 100 ivory was way too light. this shade is more yellow based than the other shades. it sells for about $17.95 in australia which is quite pricey (this sells for $5 in usa). but rimmel is always on special so i end up paying like $14 for it. so it is one of the cheapest yet good quality drugstore foundations in australia.

Most likely one of the worst foundations i've ever purchased, i have quite oily skin, and I don't know whether it's just my skin type because their are so many great reviews of this foundation out there but this really didn't do the job for me. I currently use MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation and was looking for a cheaper alternative but please, don't bother if you want a long lasting foundation. I got one of the palest shades and throughout the day it still got orange and patchy. I also found it was quite thick and hard to blend. None of the Rimmel foundations i have brought ever do the job for me, please don't waste your money on this!

I really like this foundation. I picked it up at Meijers (after buying some fudge pops) because I had some extra money to spend. Lucky for me, I have never had problems finding the right shade..Anyway, I was out of sponges so I was forced to apply it with my hands the first time I used it. Bad idea because it was impossible to blend. But with a wet sponge, it goes on beautifully and provides heavy coverage. I set it with a loose powder and I have no problems with oil or transferring. It has a pleasant scent and although it felt moisturizing, it did not make me break out or make me look like a grease ball..which had me worried after reading reviews. It also covers redness, which is nice. I actually prefer the tube over the glass bottles because I don't have to throw it against the wall to get anything out.
It's not the easiest to blend but for me it's not a problem. It provides a little too much coverage for me, but I will definitely buy this again because it's affordable and works.

I have the 16 hour formula. I love this foundation, but it broke me out. I have sensitive skin so pretty much everything breaks me out. I think the culprit is the talc. I should have known better. However if you don't have sensitive skin I would give this a try. Its a beautiful foundation tht lasts all day, even in very hot weather and dosent sweat off. If u find your breaking out with this and don't usually break out it could be because your not cleansing off properly at nite. I suggest an oil cleanser to remove. I use the boscia makeup breakup oil. Everything else was perfect. My shade was nude 202

I was on my way out to purchase the L'Oreal new Visible Lift and the new Maybelline Smooth Mousse. I decided to throw this on ( I haven't used it in awhile) to run over to Ulta and when I took my last look in the mirror I thought "what the heck am I doing?" This stuff looks Fabulous! I'm sure I will eventually check out the others...when they're BOGOF or I get a great coupon and an Ulta $3.50 too but for now I'm going to stick with the Rimmel, I'm so happy I rediscovered it.

i bought this foundation as i was lookin for a cheap enough new foundation to cover my acne and acne scars. i thought rimmel was a very good brand as i have heard it was before! i thought this foundation gave good coverage and it covered my spots fairly well. but i was dissatisfied as about an hour after applying the make up i looked in the mirror and my face just looked dirty and blue. i was appauled with this make up as rimmel should have better quality. this foundation is meant to last all day and shold not turn my face blue!! i would not really recommend thisproduct unless you wanted to look like avatar!! .x

I bought this cuz I was broke and needed a quick liquid foundation. I just figured Id get this since it was so cheap. I didnt even care how good it was. I put it on and my face instantly looked flawless and brighter. LIke i had airbrushed it. And it gave a bronzey glow without looking like a mask. It stays on for a while too. Doesnt smudge off and doesn't break me out (yet); I break out very easily so hopefully I can continue to say that as time goes on.

I tried this in the 25 Hour version and I actually liked it. Much better quality than Revlon Colostay. It makes my skin look flawless. I am NC 30 and the shade 200 as recommended by the MUAers was way too light. 201 was a bit pinkish. 300 was a better match, especially since it is summer and I can forego with the bronzer. Highly recommended!

I decided to try this because it was on clearance for less than $2 because Rimmel is coming out with a longer lasting version. I bought the lightest color. I tested this for 2 weeks in order to make sure I had a definite opinion.
PROS
* Cheap
* They're getting rid of it, maybe they will improve the formula and make lighter colors.
CONS
* The lightest color was still too dark for my skin tone
* Staying power was NOT good...I've heard people compare this to Revlon Colorstay, and in my experience this is not comparable. Revlon Colorstay is still my go to foundation.
* Coverage was not very good either.

I have it in 300 Sand. I'm asian, NC 35 in MAC. The coverage is good: medium to full coverage. In the bottle, it's a little bit darker, but it's really perfect on my skin.
Pros:
- Perfect with my skin
- Gives me a flawless finish
- The price: about 7$
- Medium to full coverage
Cons:
- The tube: Sometimes ,when I squeeze the tube, I have more than I need

I bought this on clearance at CVS for $1.75, so I bought 2 tubes in color 200. It must be getting discontinued.
Pros:
The color matched my asian skin perfectly. Coverage is amazing and lasts all day into the night on me. Gives a nice dewy finish. Easy to use tube, just squeeze out.
Cons:
It feel cakey even when using a stippling brush to apply it. That is supposed to give a lighter application. The worst part is that it broke me out badly. I didn't have pimples before. Ughh, now I have to deal with how to get rid of these nasty pimples!
I don't recommend using this everyday, maybe on special occasions only, although I'm hesitant because I'm afraid I'll break out again.

I have this in 200 Soft Beige and the colour is actually perfect for me right now. I have an olive/yellow undertone and I find that in natural light, I can tell this foundation has a slight peach tone, and though it doesn't deter me from using this product, I just wished it was more olive based. I do hope Rimmel will eventually expand their colour selection.
I felt the medium coverage was very nice. It wore really well throughout the day and didn't oxidize. It reminds me, in a lot of ways of Revlon ColorStay --just a more blendable version. There is a hint of floral fragrance in this foundation that I don't care for. I think most people will agree with me when I say fragrance-free foundations get bonus points for being non-offensive.
All in all I truly like this foundation and will continue to use it. LF is generally sold for $7 at drugstores here in Canada, so it's very affordable and for that, this product is unbeatable value. I think Rimmel really stepped up their game and I look forward to seeing more from them in the future.

one of my favorite foundation. I have very oily skin, and it oxidizes most of the foundation that I wear turning me orange by the end of the day. I get compliments when I wear this, and no orange skin after work! Good coverage, long lasting, and doesn't break me out. I just got the new 25 hr one, and its just as good. Thank goodness they didn't ruin it.

I love this stuff! I tend to mix it with my moisturizer in order to get it to apply a little more evenly, but the coverage is great. And it actually lasts for as long as it says it's supposed too, even on a very hot day. The only downside is the limited colour range.

I really like this tuff, at first for some reason I didn't so I totally forgot about it and then re-discovered it a few months ago... and ITS AMAZING! The coverage is fabulous but its not cakey and along with a tiny bit of concealer and powder even MY not very good skin if pretty much flawless :D However the color range doesn't go very light, and while I'm usually not the lightest color for foundation.. I had to get the lightest color and its perfect, but I know a lot of people who have lighter skin then me, who this foundation would be too dark for.
OVERALL:
-awesome coverage
-OIL FREE
-"mineral enriched"
-not light enough shades
-needs powder for oil control

Really needs more colors in the selection as the lighest is way too dark for anyone with fair skin. However, it's amazing when I mix it with my Revlon Photo ready or Maybelline pure makeup to lighten it consistencywise and colorwise. Love this stuff. The coverage is really good and gives a nice matte finish. However, I prefer to mix it with a lighter foundation as it is a little too much for my skin alone.

I believe this foundation has be reformulated. The packaging now states that it lasts 25 hours. Regardless, I've used the 16 hour product, just purchased the 25 hour product and love both. Prior to trying this foundation, I used Estee Lauder Double Wear in Ecru for the past 3 years. I loved the full-coverage of it and the fact that it was long lasting. Due to great reviews and excellent price, I gave Rimmel Lasting Finish a shot. I purchased the color Ivory. The coverage is full and long lasting yet feels lightweight. It feels very moisturizing, but doesn't cause me to get an oil slick. I can wear this for about 12 - 15 hours and still look fresh.

Great foundation. I've been using Clinique foundation, but I find it's soo hard to blend! This stuff blends like a dream, it's about a medium coverage, it's thick but not too thick and not too watery. I really like this.
