best product of the past 5 years in my opinion! for years now i've been applying, curling, mascaraing, and praying my lashes longer and thicker and FINALLY i have something that actually delivers results! before this i had faithfully used Mavala Double Lash and then Talika Lipocils and although they definitely did help my lashes grow to their full potential they couldn't give me the over the top results i craved. i've now been using Careprost (generic Latisse) since December 26th and the results have been phenomenal. i use it every night, one drop for each upper eyelid and one drop split between both eyebrows. i'm very fair skinned and have never had the thick, sharp eyebrows i've always admired because 1. i don't have much hair there to begin with and 2. the hair that is there is very blonde! since starting Latisse my brows have gotten thicker, longer, and darker and a bare spot that i've had for years has even filled in. i hardly ever even reach for my brow pencil anymore. as for my lashes, i couldn't have wished for anything better in my wildest dreams. they are SUPER long, much darker, and slightly more abundant in volume. when curled and mascara'd they look absolutely VOLUMINOUS and for the first time in my life i get DAILY comments about how pretty they are and questions as to if they're fake or not! the rest of my makeup is always very natural but when it comes to my lashes i want them to look as outrageous as possible ;) i have also continued using Talika Lipocils on my lashes after the Latisse has dried just so that my new, longer lashes stay conditioned and in tip-top shape. as for negative side effects, i haven't really had any at all except a very slight darkening of the skin above my lashline but no one in the world would ever notice that but me. since i've gotten my lashes to my ideal now i'm going to go into the maintenance stage and probably apply every 2 nights or so. i will never stop using this product, EVER! it's the best beauty product i've ever found.

I've been using this for almost 5 months now and started seeing results after 2 weeks. I've been in maintenance mode for a long while (using every 4 days) as I don't want my lashes to get too long. There's not much in the way of volume though hence only 4 lippies.

I haven't been careful about applying it evenly so sections of one lash are marginally shorter than others, but I've been successfully spot treating this although it's a pain constantly having to try and even up both sides as I can't seem to get it perfect. So my advice is to try and apply the liquid as evenly as you can. Two drops for both eyes is more than enough. If anything, it's probaby too much as I find that I my eyes look red and bloodshot the next day if I use more than one drop.

Anyway, I use the excess on my brows and that's helped the hairs to grow back from overplucking (which btw works faster than Rogaine). I used to be more careful about application and used to put the drops onto a tiny piece of foil so that I didn't contaminate anything and could then just throw away the foil afterwards. Now I just squeeze the drops onto any reasonably clean surface and (not very thoroughly) wash the supplied eyeliner brush that comes with the ADC eyeliner.

At the beginning, the only known side-effects I had were a little stinging and some browning along my lashes. However, this stopped some weeks after and the only side effect I have now are my red bloodshot eyes if I use more than one drop.

As others have mentioned, don't waste your money buying expensive Latisse, just buy the generic stuff from alldaychemist.com for $10. Only prob is ADC shipping is expensive so stock up on lots and anything else you need e.g. Retin A. Also create a 'fake' email account cos you'll be getting a lot of erectile dysfunction emails.

So my sister gave me a bottle of this and I wish I would of started this earlier! It's amazing. It's only been about 2 wks and I already see a HUGE difference. My lashes are longer and fuller. I even used some on my eyebrows! Definitely going to be a necessity in my makeup box!

I have been using Careprost for about a month. Have I seen longer lashes? YES!!!! CRAZY a** long lashes...however, be warned that there is a catch 22...the longer they get and the faster it happens the quicker the growth cycle ends and you need to wait for the new ones to grow in.
That is why I have continued using Mavala Double Lash. Ive been uing Double Lash for nearly 2 years and I have 2 rows of eyelashes~yes that is very true...it doubles your lashes...and when the long ones fall out they're already replaced by a twin lash.
perhaps there is a word of caution to be applied. Ive read that using Careprost (AKA Latisse) can cause permanent damage to lash folicles, so it stands to reason that using two types of growth serums that manipulate the folicles in two ways would double that risk...should there actually be any...who knows. Did I mention I use Innoxa French blue eyedrops?
hey kids, Ill be your guinea pig ;)

@@@@@@@UPDATE!!! VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!!@@@@@@@
I developed an incurable condition where I will get cysts, know as chalazions for the rest of my life on my eyelids BECAUSE OF THIS DRUG. It has destroyed the oil glands along my lash line, where you would apply it, and where the prostaglandin receptors are. I have a chalazion now and I have to get it cut out of my eyelid. It goes to show, you can try to force your body to do something and it will, but it will fight back after some time. I'm warning you ladies. Stay away.
