Absolutely wonderful product!! The moisturizer is thick and emollient but immediately "dissolves" into my skin with no irritation and no white cast. It is important to allow time for the skin to absorb the formula thoroughly, but if not, it's nothing a little powder cannot control. =)

I must admit, this is the first time I have purchased a drugstore skincare item to use for myself since middle school (10 years ago), and I cannot be more satisfied. Although I was recently using and loving the Prescriptives skincare line, I was somewhat concerned about its weak level of UVA/UVB protection. Furthermore, all the magazine articles featuring renown dermatologists, seemed to suggest cheap moisturizers worked just as effectively as department store ones--if not better. Thus, I felt it couldn't hurt to at least try this new Oil of Olay moisturizer, and I am so glad I did!!

NOTE:I have been this product for nearly one month, and my normal to slightly oily skin has not experienced any negative side effects.

This is a nice moisturizer with sun screen. I have the sensitive skin formula. I used to use spf 15, now that I am getting older, I like the 30 better. Non greasy, doesn't make you break out. There isn't anything NOT to like about it. The pump bottle is good, not much product is wasted, 'clogged' up in the pump. I would buy again. It has no fragrance, I guess that is the differential with the 'sensitive' skin formula.

It works great on my extra sensitive/reactive skin. It moisturizes all day and contains a sun protection without irritating. Find the texture a little thick but doesn't leave a greasy coat on the skin, so it's ok. For a supermarket brand it's good product. UPDATE: removed 1 lipstick, coz it doesn't moisturise all day as I said before, I have this strong feeling of thightness after a couple of hours. Also it tends to iritate my eyes and it leaves a white coat on my skin that I hate...I am already too pale! But still, for the price, it's good quality and worth buying it, but I don't think I'll buy it again...

Ugh. I ran out and bought this after hearing all the rave reviews. I have dry/sensitive skin, and NEVER see a bit of shine even on the hottest day. However, after using the Oil of Olay SPF 30 for Sensitive Skin, my face was soooo shiny after only an hour or so! And to make matters worse, I broke out horribly! It also didn't blend very well, and felt a lot more like a thick sunscreen than a facial moisturizer to me... very chalky. Maybe I got a bad batch???

Searched and searched for a good skin care line and I think I've found it. Started using this about 1-2 weeks ago and like the results....Doesn't dry out my skin. I use differin at night on my chin area and this hasn't made my skin more irritated at all. Only downfall, I wish the packaging was different and maybe it had a pump handle instead of a squeeze bottle.

UPDATE: After using these for a while with my Differin I noticed my face started purging and breaking out again. I think it was this, not my Differin. Once I stopped this now my skin looks so much better. Back to my Aveeno!

This is a great moisturizer to use for every day wear. I use it in the mornings before I put on make-up. It also contains sunscreen, which is great for those spur of the moment outdoor activities. This in not an oily moisturizer, and it absorbs quickly. I can always tell a difference if I try a new moisturizer. I always end up going back to this one.

I hate to spoil the party! I normally use the Complete Moisture Lotion SPF 15 for Sensitive Skin. Figured SPF 30 would be even better! I have mild Rosacea and an oily T-zone. I only wore this for one day and decided it's not an option for me. It's more emollient and slightly heavier (more Zinc Oxide) than Complete SPF 15, so it didn't look as nice under my foundation. I felt some irritation by the afternoon. From past experience, I think the Niacinamide and the greater amount of chemical sunscreen in this irritates my skin. Oh well, no one said having Rosacea and oily skin would be easy. I am not surprised this works for other people, but it's just not suited for my skin type. Slightly oily to normal to dry NON-sensitive skin might love it. Paula Begoun of "The Cosmetics Cop" thinks this is a great formulation.

This is the best moisturizer w/30 spf! I have a very oily t-zone and this doesn't make it any oiler than any other mosturizer would. It applies very well and absorbs into the skin within minutes. I purchased the sensitive formula because I also have the Neutrogena Dry Touch, which might be breaking me out. But, I just like the fact that OoO has moisturizing ingredients so I don't need a separate one. I'm so very pleased with this and will be using it daily this summer.

This is a fabulous zinc oxide sunscreen that truly does not leave a white cast. No burning and seems to last on the skin for quite a while. I've used the SPF 15 lotion in the past and this is a bit thicker, but does sink in well. I have extremely oily skin and this was not greasy on me at all. As far as the price, compared to other quality sunscreens you could by at a department store or boutique, this is downright cheap and of similar quality. I'm only giving it 4 because I'm still searching for the elusive perfect sunscreen! But I would definitely buy this again.

I'm very glad I took the plunge and bought this product. I was a bit put off by the price, and still am, but hopefully this product's success will cause other companies to create similar high spf moisturizers that will drive the prices of these produsts down (well, we can all wish, at least). I'm on Retin A, so this moisturizer isn't too thick for me, and plus, it sinks in nicely, not giving me that whitish look that other high spf products usually do. It's just a great sunscreen, all around, and I am now a committed customer.

I hate to be the one that messes up the perfect rating, but this product broke me out horribly. But I did give it a few lipsticks for the reasonable price and the high SPF. I think someone who can wear a high level of zinc oxide will really like this product. It does not leave a whitish cast, like many other zinc oxide sunscreens. I just wished it worked for me. I'm going back to my HG, La Mer Fluid!

Ok, this product become one of my staples !! Since starting retin a, almost 2 month ago this is the only SPF that I’ve been using and so far so good. It seems to moisturize enough for my skin not to be dry and irritated , it doesn’t look like a mask as all the others looked like and most important it did not broke me out. It is cheap and it lasts forever plus it’s very easy to find. Love it !! I hope that it will continue to work.

LOVE this moisturizer! Has the higher sun protection that I crave now that the sun is coming back out and now that I am on retin-A. It has 6.0% zinc oxide instead of avobenzone which is a lot more gentle on my skin. Also fragrance free, so no irritation there. Absorbs really well, moisturizing my skin without being greasy. Has aloe, vitamin e, panthenol, and green tea extract which I also really like. Been using it for several weeks and haven't suffered from any breakouts or other skin irritations. The only downside is, it seems that I'm not the only one who loves this stuff, it keeps flying off the shelves at all the stores in my area, making it a little hard to get my hands on it. Since the product works so well for me, the effort of tracking a bottle down is well worth it.

I bought this because I love complete spf15 and I thought I'd see how this one is. Well, it's just alright. It doesn't break me out or anything but it is slightly greasy, greasier then complete spf15 and it leaves me shiner as well. That said, the pump packaging is just great and the price is reasonable at around $12 for 2.5 oz(though not as dirt cheap as complete spf15 which is more like $6 for 4 oz) and when I know I'm going to be out in the sun for extended periods of time it'll be nice to have something with more sun protection but overall I doubt I'll buy this again as I'm going to stick with the complete spf15 for daily use, and I think I could find something I like more then this for when I need a higher spf.

Wooohooo! A great replacement to my beloved (and late) Eucerine Protective Moisturizer SPF 25. Hydrates, non-greasey and great SPF protection. I like that it has a high percentage of zinc oxide, but no white residue. Excellent packaging for a drugstore product and in comparison to high end moisturizers with sunscreen, at less than $20, very reasonable.
UPDATE: after one month in using Olay Complete Defense, I found this moisturizer to be a bit drying. Although I still think this is an excellent drugstore product and will recommend it to those with normal to combination skins, for my dry skin, it was not the best daily moisturizer I've used.

My all-time favorite sunscreen is the Oil of Olay Complete for sensitive skin. I kept hoping they would come out with a higher SPF. Well, O of O just came out with a SPF 30 formula which is great. It has twice as much zinc oxide (6%). It is somewhat thicker than the SPF 15 formula, and the finish is not as matte. But, it doesn’t clump up into little white pills like most high mineral sunscreens. I am very pale to start with, so I don’t know if it would be too white for someone with darker skin. It doesn’t smell either!
UPDATE 5/7/04: I have to lower my rating. I wanted to think this was my HG. But, I find it irritates my face somewhat and gets into my eyes. I'll probably still use it, but prefer the DDF Organic SPF 30.

Great non-oily, non greasy moisturizer, works great on combination skin, doesn't cause breakouts, and is pretty affordable, and I love the pump bottle it's packaged in! Will buy again.

parsol slays me. Horrible reaction. But most things SPF 30 have parsol! What is a girl to do? Sensitive skin complete defense SPF30, No parsol. Thank the dear heavens. Beautiful. Expensive for drugstore, but beautiful and sanitary pump dispenser. Honestly, for this quality product, you could put it in a glass bottle at a cosmetics counter and charge 4 times as much. It's worth it to protect your skin. *update* cyst city. Back to elizabeth arden's modern skincare.
