This is a good tinted moisturizer, but i will not be purchasing it again because it broke me out a little bit. BUT if it doesn't have that effect on you, i think it's great. It feels light upon application, great coverage - no need to put concealer on after this, little goes a long way. Although it did transfer easily, but it wasn't a big deal.

This by far has the most coverage of any tinted moisturizer that I've tried, yet it is the consistency of a moisturizer. This is such a wonderful product on the majority of the week days when I don't wear makeup. This is not only a phenomenal foundation type product but I definitely don't use any additional pre-moisturizing products, this does the job completely which takes out an entire step in a full face makeup routine. LOVE. This evens out my skin tone (mild rosacea) covers the redness without the need of concealer and looks completely natural and slightly dewy. It stays put for about five hours without any powder etc. This is a staple in my collection and one of my most frequently used products.

I love this tinted moisturizer in Medium. I have flaky skin in the winter due to my acne products and this product is perfect. I do not have to put foundation on with this and it keeps my face hydrated. I replaced my Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer with this, Kiehl's has more of a smooth even coverage.

Love it, I use this in place of foundation when I go out. I also use it when I go to the beach, it has SPF & its tinted enough that it covers up blemishes.

I am A C3 or NC30-35, I used this and need nothing else but powder to "set". I use Medium, blends into skin to give it healthy color and smooths my skin, lasts all day. LOVE IT

I just bought this last week after reading the reviews here. I was looking for a high quality tinted moisturizer for the daytime/work week when I really don't feel like wearing foundation and I feel like I found a great product at a good price. Seeing as how you get 2.5 oz (compared to the standard 1 oz size of foundations) for $25, I think it's a really good deal. The product seems to apply effortlessly and it has a very natural look--exactly what I'm going for in the workplace. I sort of feel like this Kiehl's tinted moisturizer is an American BB cream. I'm really happy with my purchase! :)
Update: I brought this with me to a music festival and it was awesome :D so effortless. I know I didnt even need it because its a music festival and no one wears makeup but I liked having it w me. such a convenient product--application & also the packaging is great for travel!

This is such a fantastic tinted moisturizer! You only need the tiniest bit and it really is moisturizing without being too heavy or making me look like an oil slick (and I have a mildly oily T-Zone, so that really says something!) While wearing it, you almost just feel like you have sunscreen on or something. I didn't like it when I first applied it, but I went back about five minutes later and looked and it was like it had melted into my skin and I looked absolutely flawless. I love the packaging; kind of looks like a bottle of something I would get from the pharmacy. No frills packaging, gotta love it!
Going to try it for a couple more weeks to see if it breaks me out. So far, I am SO impressed!
I've seen a couple comments about smell with this TM. It contains SPF, smells to me like most other foundations that contain sunscreen. I'm pretty sensitive to smell and I don't find it offensive.

I use Kiehl's moisturizers so I thought I'd love this, right? Nope! I tried to love it since I paid a decent amount of money for it, but in the end I just threw it away. It didn't blend in well unless I used only a tiny bit, and then I didn't notice any effect at all. I also felt like it made my skin break out.

If you have oily skin, forget about it. I have very dry skin and I love this TM (medium) because its matte and gives a LOT of coverage as well (but keep in mind, I don't have acne problems). If you are looking for an easy/light TM, this is not it. You need to blend it in a LOT because its thick. I hate the smell but its bearable. If you want a significant difference in your skin tone, this TM is for you. If you just want a little tint/glow, try something a little more sheer like Elizabeth Arden's sheer lights.

Eew. This gave me whiteheads on my chin and cheeks within 3 days, and my cheeks are usually dry! Plus it's way heavier than a TM should be, and tends to oxidize too. I returned it and found Laura Mercier's TM instead and that one is a thousand times better!

I've been using this T/M for over a month. I usually don't wear any foundation, but I liked the idea of not having to apply S/S, concealer and powder. I tried a sample and liked it enough to buy a full bottle. I don't have another T/M to compare it to, but my impressions are pretty positive. I got it in "Light" but found that once you rub it in, you really can't see a color. I did find that I had to moisturize before I put it on because it can accentuate dry spots of skin...which is kind of weird for something with moisturizer supposedly included. The smell of it is a little vegetable, like avocado, but you get used to it. I usually find it looks a little "fake" right when you apply it, but love that it looks better as the day goes on. Better than the other way around! I think the squeeze bottle if practical but tends to overflow when you open it if you travel with it upside down. My overall impression: pretty good!

I'm NC 35 with yellow undertones. I got several samples of the Medium - while the shade was right, the undertones were totally pink and so it doesn't work for me at all. I really had high hopes based on the great reviews but oh well! Also, a comment about the packaging - I get that their whole thing is that all their packaging is very utilitarian and plain but it would be nice if they spiced it up a bit.

I bought this in Medium at full price (approx $30 inc tax)from a Kiehls store.
This is a nice, liquid-y tinted moisturizer that offers a decent amount of coverage. That is the only positive I can say about this. The negatives:
1) It matched my skin upon application, but then it oxidized - BADLY. I looked like an oompa loompa by the end of the day. I got medium, I'm about NC30/chanel beige 40/stila TM in medium
2) it left my skin kind of tacky to the touch. my face was sticky from using this.
Those were my main problems with this product, and why I wouldn't buy again.

EDIT: It's causing breakouts! I'm sooooo disappointed :(
Kiehl's and I have been developing a close relationship lately :D I've been trying all sorts of samples and getting a high success rate too!
This tinted moisturizer is actually more like a foundation IMO. I don't normally wear any makeup on a daily basis, but I was looking for something to wear for special occasions. I'm 36 and have some issues with cheek redness, surface veins and wrinkles. I was looking for something to even out my skin tone, yet not look like a mask or even give the appearance of makeup at all. As soon as I tried this TM, I knew I'd found my new foundation. It covers my problem areas well, I even dabbed a little bit more under my eyes and found that I did not even need my beloved Helena Rubenstein Magic Concealer there, it covered that well. For some who are used to fuller coverage foundations, this TM may seem very sheer, but for me it's just right. My skin looks even and "done", yet you can't see the makeup on the skin (and I tried in every light possible!!!). I use a little bit of Kathleen rice powder on my T-zone just out of habit because this TM really has a nice finish: not shiny and not matte, just "skin" looking. I might try my Guerlain meteorites powder over the top of it for evening wear....I think it will look nice.
So nice finish, great coverage, good colour match (I wear the lightest shade on my very pale skin and it's fine) .....PLUS it seems to have nicely moisturized my irritable flaky forehead. I'm very happy with this one!

I really loved this product. I loved that it went on smoothly, blended well and dried to a soft powdery feeling, not sticky like other tm's. I also loved how well it matched my skin tone and how natural it looked. I used the lightest one. Unfortunately, it caused me to break out on my chin (always a sign that a product isn't agreeing with me). I stopped using it for a few days and my skin is finally clearing up. I was trying to find out the ingredients and was a bit frustrated to find out that it only lists the three key ingredients (apricot kernel oil, chamomile and royal jelly). I couldn't find a full ingredients list for this product anywhere, which was really weird. Anyway, I loved it but it doesn't agree with me so I will continue to search for my hg tm.

I went to get a sample of this from the Kiehl's booth at Nordstrom because of all the reviews on here... and sadly, it did not work out for me! In fact, the SA matched my color by doing a light swatch on my cheek and I was happy that medium was a good match in color. But the very next day, I had a little bump/pimple right on the spot where the SA applied the TM. I was really sad because I wanted this to work, but for my skin to get a pimple the very next day from very light application of a product - definitely tells me that it's a big no-no for me. I would re-try it since I still have the sample, untouched, but I'm scared it'll give me more pimples... I guess the search for a TM continues! le sigh~
