I purchased this based upon reviews by two youtube gurus. I know they live in different climates...I'm in a very humid area...so that definitely factors into my experience. This product kept giving my forehead a full shine, which meant two seperate blotting sessions on one particularly humid day. This hairspray also clumps and looks very greasy. Part way through the day, my flyaways fly away and yet the crunch and grease remain. I marked this for repurchase mainly b/c my area is so climate challenged. I think just about every hairspray will have problems.

This hairspray works soo good for me. I've used it for a while, and i'm still really satisfied by it. I'm one of those girls who always has a lot of volume and poofs (I even get the occasional "Heyy, Snooki!!" from strangers. lol) and it works good enough to hold it!!:) I agree, the smell isn't the best, I have to like, step away from where I sprayed it and fan the air to get the big hairspray cloud to disappear. haha But all in all, it works great!! If you can get over the fumes, i'd recommend it:)

I think I have this hairspray in number 4 which is the extreme hold?
Well, well, what to say....
Ok so I feel like this product is like that guy you come ecounter with at least once in your life that you're always on and off with. That guy that makes you extremely happy at one point and extremely miserable...but always end up coming back to?
As of right now me and Tresemme Hairspray in #4 are officially broken up. I've grown sick of it. And I mean dead SICK of it!
I love the way it holds my hair all day and even to the next morning I still have my curls...
Yet I CANNOT STAND the scent. When I'm styling my hair with this product there are times where I cannot bare it and have to take a break from fixing my hair... Literally I have to stop spraying because if I continue to spray it any longer and curl I will barf.
I'm NOT kidding whatsoever. I'm not over exaggerating whatsoever either! Not for me anyway. Ive used this for maybe 2 years now off and on.
Anyway it holds great for me but right now i'm sick of it, i'm sick of that horrid smell when I'm styling my hair with it.
I need a break from all that bologna.
So as of right now I'm using Aussie Hairspray, you know the one that smells fruity and FRESH AND GREAT?! Yes that one!
Everyone complains how it doesn't hold the style all day but as of right now I don't care and that's not what i'm looking for or need right now. What I need right now is a hairspray that can do an ok job, is affordable and most importantly smells amazing... And that's what Aussie hairspray is doing for me right now. However I know me, I will end up using this again because nothing beats the great hold. Right now though like I said i'm going nowhere near my old can I still have under my sink!

Picked this up at Walmart for 1$ in the purse size can. Leaves my bangs shiny and in place all day long. No white flakes here! Yay (:

TRESemme tres two extra hold hairspray is a product that works and is affordable. The hairspray stores in a black can that seems a little big to travel with. The product itself is amazing. It holds curls and fly away hairs all day with no white flakes. It smells very pleasant just like a typical salon hairspray but with an understated scent. I prefer TRESemme tres two hairspray compare to Sebatian Shaper Fierce, a new hairspray which smells like an insect spray. Overall, TRESemme tres two hairspray really does works and the price is great as well around $4 USD. This is a great investment hairspray for any types of hair and hair styles.

The hold is fine, not great, but it isn't too sticky or flaky so that's a plus. As many other reviewers have said, however, the smell is cloying and it makes me feel slightly nauseous/lightheaded. I'll take all this care to smell nice, shower, deodorant, perfume, etc. and then spray my hair and I'm like, crap, that's all anyone can smell now. If any of you have since found a less smelly but still inexpensive hairspray that performs well, can you please contact me? Thanks!

This stuff is freaking amazing! Great hold, but still touchable. Definitely buildable too, if you want a harder hold look, just use more. I can't stand the smell though, and it lingers. Oh well. Will repurchase =)

Wow, this is the first TRESemme D/S hairspray that I haven't been completely disgusted with. Their non-aersol spray and their Freeze spray were horrible (greasy, didn't dry and no hold whatesover). This one is actually pretty decent. It has good enough hold for my volumized, backcombed style with about 2 coats (3 in stubborn areas) and lasts all day without weighing my hair down or anything of the sort. It doesn't leave a weird, coated, heavy texture if you brush or finger-comb through it at the ends, though it doesn't have quite as good of shape memory (holding its shape even after its been brushed through and separated) as some others that I've tried (Samy Skyscraper, Samy Fat Hair, Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play Harder and Big Sexy Hair Spray & Stay are probably the best at this, though it's probably at par in shape memory with CHI Helmethead, which I also like). I also like that it doesn't leave my hair with a white cast or hairspray droplets if I use too much or from too close. That's actually a quality that I've found surprisingly hard to come by in a hairspray. I really like the sprayer on the bottle. It really does spray a super fine mist, with just the right amount of pressure, and covers a nice wide area without over-spraying excessively onto your shoulders, counter, walls, floors, etc. It's also really easy to wash out (much easier than most other sprays with compareable hold, though I use a deep cleansing shampoo daily). I've used this spray a few times now and the only real grievance I have with it is the smell. It kind of reminds me of lemon Pledge or something similar (not really my first choice in how I want my hair to smell!). However, it's not a really strong, nauseating or lingering smell so I can forgive that. The best thing about this spray is that it's cheap (about $7-8 CAD for a huge can, which is great compared to $10-20 for a much smaller can of the other brands I like). I'm really liking it overall so far and will update if needbe!
Update 04/12/2011: Just an updated as I'm still using this spray and have been quite happy with it. It actually has a pretty good hold (it's buildable and I just I layer it up a couple times to finish my style because I like a very firm hold). I like how it never makes my hair look wet, plastic-ish or white/cloudy, no matter how much I use. It actually doesn't even show up visibly in my hair at all, which says a lot because my hair is jet black. It just doesn't ever look like I'm wearing hairspray, which is nice. If only it was unscented, it would be perfect. But I'm still bumping it up to 5 lippies because the smell is faint and quickly fades away, and I love everything else about it!
I should add... For me to give a hairspray 5/5 is a pretty big deal because I've tried a LOT of hairsprays- everything from Aquanet to the high end salon brands (see my reviews for just a small sampling of them), and I've become extremely picky!

This is a light hairspray that doesn't leave your hair feeling sticky, hard or prickly, and it holds hair together for as long as you want it to, which is what I love about it.
I'm usually not a hairspray or styling product person(I dont own any hair mousse, gel or wax!), a small can would last me up to 2 years, which is exactly the case with this hairspray. Extremely inexpensive, the bottle I have is small and perfect for travelling.
The thing I hate about hairspray or any aerosol spray is I always feel I'm inhaling the mist/fumes etc, and I feel as though product is getting up my nose.

This hairspray makes my hair all stiff and sticky and if you spray too much on the smell can "overpowering" but despite all that it's really cheap and keeps your hair in place but at the end of the day you might want to take a shower to get the hairspray off.

Disgusting product! I tried it because I love their shampoo/conditioners but this was horrible! It made my hair stiff and sticky, and only with one tiny spritz! Very disappointed and will not repurchase.

I puchased this product in a trial size can. It worked really well for me. Too bad the trial size cost almost the same price as the full size can! For the price it can't be beat vs those salon brands in the travel sizes, those are a ridiculous price.

Tresemme sucks! I won't touch another product of theirs ever! This hairspray would spray into my hair and I could literally brush it out. I would walk out the door, feel my hair and it was not only completely flat but it now was greasy.
**LADIES!! Stop buying the cheap stuff!!! It is sooo much more worth it to buy the salon brands, seriously. I have tried SO many products out there because I love trying new products to find out which works the best for me, like most women. My hair type is very fine, very soft and limp. I can't do anything with it unless I get help from GOOD products. If you are wanting a strong hair spray, don't look in the hair section at walmart. You're only wasting your time and money. The expensive products are expensive for a reason. Stop being cheap and get the products your hair deserves! Most salons and salon brand stores will take the product back if you don't like it. Why settle for Tresemme? If it works for you that's great, I'm jealous that I can't buy cheap products that work on my hair. I'm just saying if your hair is difficult try better products and have stylists teach you how to use them correctly, and make sure the product is really for your hair type. Most products out there that "don't" work are because they aren't being used properly and/or it's not the correct product for your hair type or for what you are trying to achieve.**

Extra hold? Umm, how about only with crunchiness & the not even much of a hold? I detest this product more and more every time I use it, but I'm too lazy to go buy another hair spray, so I just deal with loose curls/waves at the end of the day.

Absolutely love this hairspray. Very effective, and very cheap!!! Will always buy this!

I like several Tresemme products, so when I needed a new hairspray, I gave this a shot. It was very inexpensive ($3 something) and didn't have water (aka filler) as the first ingredient. Upon use, it seemed alright. I like light hold sprays and it performed just fine. It has a scent that lingers a bit which is kind of annoying, but tolerable. After a few days use, I started to notice some small zits on my forehead, the only place I never break out. I figured it was just hormonal and left it at that. But it got worse and worse and I finally figured it out - the hairspray was obviously breaking me out. Into the trash it goes!

wow! great stuff. i like that i have to use so little to get insane hold. i have a pixie cut, so i don't care how my hair feels, jsut how it looks. and this keeps it in place. even through driving on the freeway with my windows down (no a/c in my car!). i love the smell too. dunno what it smells like, but it's just good. got it in a giant can for $2.64 at wal-mart. i know aerosol is bad for the environment, but the sprayer won't clog, that's for sure. will repurchase.

Whoa, why did I not buy this long time ago? I have tried alot of hairsprays, but lately love light hold hairsprays and I really love this. I was using Kenra and I use it all the time, but not the price. Being broke the week before my vacation, I decided to just buy this thinking ookk...thats what I deserve for not having any money. But when I got home...oh la la...It is worth the every penny I spent on it. I do deserve this hairspray, because now my hairstyles can look divine.

I don't like this hairspray. It's cheap ($5), but makes my hair stiff and unpleasant to touch. I'd like it for updos if it didn't leave a matte look. Will not repurchase.
