When I first got this it also had a smell like the Peaches 'n Gleam one, but it wasn't that strong. I got this at a two for one deal. It's really sheer and you can't see the color much, but the texture is almost silky. It does give me a little shimmer, but I don't think I'd buy this again. I really have no use for it if it doesn't show up. :)

This is seriously the best lipgloss for anyone ! The color is amazing its shimmery and shiny and it looks good on ANYONE !! its also makes your lips soft and smooth. This is a amazing lipgloss. Its perfect for everyday use. if i could give it more than 5 lippies I would !!!!

Beautiful!! I love this color when my eyes are done with a darker look because it brightens up my whole face! It's frosty but with just the right amount of sheerness so it doesn't look obvious. All I can say is that I've been looking for a color like this for quite some time and am thrilled that I've found it. Now I'm aware that it probably won't have the best lasting power because it's not sticky but so what!! I hate stickiness. I live in a windy area where my hair is constantly flying around... the best thing ever is having beautiful shiny lips which won't be a magnet for a stray hair!! This color is wonderful... definitely one of my favorites and I'm one fickle gal!!

Why the heck have I waited so long to purchase one of these?! The quality of this gloss is amazing! It's more pigmented than most nudes, which is exactly what I was looking for - more milky. It's not at all sticky. It smells delicious. And the the price rocks!

Shimmershell is identical on the back of my hand and on my lips as MAC’s Oyster Girl (in the tube, Shimmershell looks just a tad more beige). A pretty, very pale whitish/milky light pink with golden shimmer. I love how light and non-sticky this gloss is, it’s a little on the oily side but I don’t mind reapplying often. It conditions my lips like nothing else does and is the best thing for a cold sore for me. I go back and forth between this and Oyster Girl depending on if I want a thinner gloss (Shimmershell) or a thicker gloss (Oyster Girl). I’m on my second tube and will keep repurchasing.

I am on my second tube of this, which is a strong testiment to how much I like it, since I rarely buy anything more than once. (Hey-I get bored easily). I discovered this because a friend of mine was wearing it and I really liked it on her. I am always on the look out for a good nude hued lip gloss and this is a great one on it's own, over MAC subculture lip liner, or to soften the look of darker lipsticks. I love this for it's soft and light consistancy, vanilla smell, and the pearlescent milky pink beige this gives. It also never dries out my lips, which is a huge plus. Because it is so soft, I do have to apply it often. I use MAC lipglass when I need more staying power. The shimmershell does look better on me when i have a tan, but I also love it in the colder season with a dramatic eye look. My other fave nude gloss is The Body Shop's Golden Coral-This one just happens to be cheaper. (I've tried some other wetslicks glosses too-but do not care for the ones with sparkles).

This is a nice gloss. The smell doesn't bother me much and the texture is nice. I wasn't too fond of this color though. I guess it was too pale for my liking. I ended up giving this to one of my cousins who adores it. I'll probably look for better shades.

This is a wonderful sheer tone pink lipstick, not a bubble gum color but a very sheer pink. This layers wonderfully over most sheer lipsticks to give a very natural lip. It has great shine and not to much of a smell or taste to turn you off. For 6.00 Cover Girl lip glosses are a great find.

I love this lipgloss! I had just lost my MAC lipglass & decided to try something a little cheaper..so i tried the CoverGirl Wetslicks..and let me tell you this l/g is awesome! Its not sticky, has great colour (i love shimmer shell personally) & its not expensive! I recommend it :)

I bought this color based on talk here. It's a pretty color, but nothing very unique IMO. The texture is very, very smooth which I love. I also love that faint vanilla cupcake smell it is. I hate a l/g that smells nasty or odd. The consistency is very thin, however, which is good and bad. Good because it allows you to easily build color. Bad b/c it won't last too long. I may try this in another color simply b/c it turns up like every other pink, pale, frosty l/g color does on me. I would try another shade for the smell and smooth texture.

This is a light, beigey/nudey seashell-pink that gives a pretty, slightly opaque, milky shimmer that will lighten pigmented lips. It's good for a low-key, 'wet lips' sorta look, though it doesn't last very long. Texture is thin, non-sticky, non-gritty and slick. Smells faintly of vanilla. Packaging is an oval tube with a doefoot applicator--fine but there are definite problems getting at the last dregs of product in the tube. Overall an okay lipgloss but the color didn't really wow me.

I am currently working my way through my second tube of ShimmerShell (I lost my first one), and though I repurchased it, I only think this lipgloss is so-so. I adore the frosting smell, and when I pair it with very dramatic, almost twiggy-ish eye makeup it really completes the look and makes my entire face look amazing. However, by itself it really makes the redness of my skin stand out and makes me look very shiny. I have pretty fair skin, so this color might just work better on clearer, darker skin. I haven't tried the rest of the WetSlicks but if they are as good as or better than this I would be interested in it. But as for ShimmerShell, it works under ceratin circumstances, but I don't think it's really worth anyone's money unless they really like that very pale, shiny look.

This lip gloss makes my lips feel fantastic. It's super-moisturizing and leaves a pretty shine. The colours gorgeous a sandy pink that's shimmery and smells like yummy vanilla. I took one lippy awy though because depending on how my skin looks, it can look great or terrible on me. If my complexion's blah and pale, it make my lips look frosty pink (not good). But, if my skin's looking healthy and it has a glow to it (or a tan) it looks really pretty and beachy kinda. But otherwise a nice, moisturizing gloss:)

This is a very pale pink color with a soft shimmery frost. But I like to put on plenty of lip balm first and then when I put this gloss on it just adds a pretty clear shine. I don't like the way it feels on my lips if I don't put on lip balm first.

This reminds me of twiggy when I wear it because despite the milky pink color in the tube, it gives my lips a pearly nude look that almost fades into my skintone. I have light olive skin and pigmented features including my lips so this shade doesn't work for me on my bare lips but looks amazing mixed with other shades. I won't buy this shade again but the wetslicks line is worth trying.

On me, this was basically a clear, shiny gloss. Unless I put way too much on, it probably won't wash me out. But it doesn't have that much color to it, really. I love Wetslicks, though. I'd buy this product again but maybe in a different color.

This is the best lip gloss! It lightens dark colors and makes them appear shinier! I use it quite often to lighten a winter time color and use it for summer! I also use this with the #666 lip liner from Wet and Wild and it looks fabulous! Would definitely repurchase!

Sometimes I like this, and sometimes I don't. On days that I'm looking healthy and glowy this gives me a nice nude pink lip look. On days I'm feeling blah and looking like death, this only serves to make me look even more washed out. Not quite sure if I'm going to keep this around yet or not. I like the texture and all that, just not sure about the shade yet.

Update: Ended up giving this away. Finally decided that it was just too light and frosty and served more for washing me out on most days

For reference here is a pic of Shimmershell on my lips. In real life I believe it looks more frosty/milky & pale

I really really like this lip gloss, it is kind of sheer so it matches your natural colouring really well, gives shine, as well as more intense colour.
