I am not going to repurchase this product for several reasons.
I was very excited about it, when i finally found it in Stockholm (was to appear at Sephora starting with this autumn, but back then, which is january 2009 approximately, it was sold only at the Dr Hauschka counter in a pharmacy in Stockholm), because everybody raved about it. The pharmacist assured me it's perfect for every skin type, and, as I have a crazy skin type (shiny forehead, dry cheeks, sensitive), i decided to give it a try. A little moisture didn't hurt anybody after all.
Well, first of all i could have done ten thousand times better with my Nivea creme. It did not make any difference in the aspect of my skin, maybe it got it a little oilier but i don't mind since my general belief is that it's better to 'suffer' from shiny face in your '20's and prevent the upcoming wrinkles of your '30's. It improved the skin around my eyes, that is when i was using it. The consistency is milky, greasy, a little disgusting, and the smell...this cream is not scented, this cream smells! Like plasticine, raw vegetal oils and medicines...eeew! I could hardly stand it. i started using it on my neck and cleavage and the last drops of it were sacrificed to the benefit of my bathroom sink's youth....thank God it's done!! wee!!
i was so tired of it, really now. it didn't do anything for the load of money i paid (a little glass jar for almost 20 euros? when i could buy two huge olive oil bottles for that money...and at least see results!), it disgusted me, gave me oilier skin. i think i used it for about three weeks and abandoned it on the sink. i liked the packaging though, the glass bottle looked very pharmacy-like in an elegant way, it was obvious you were using a dermo-cosmetic and not a bullshit cream. the golden pump was also very pretty- too bad it's overpriced and did nothing for me. NEVER going to try it again.
Might give a try to other Dr Hauschka products since i do trust the brand after having read many reviews, maybe a makeup remover or a toner. but this cream-NEVER.

Very nice smell and smooth application, leaves the skin moistured and with a pretty shine, I use it as a night cream.
I donīt like the glass bottle because it doesnīt protect the ingredients from the sun light but the pump dosificator itīs great.
Very affordable price for the content of 100ml.

This moisturizer is nice on my combination skin. It makes my skin glow. I especially like it combined with the Dr. Hauschka bronzing concentrate. I gave it 4 lippies because I find that it can leave my skin greasy at the end of the day sometimes.

This is a good mosturiser if your skin is not very sensitive. I was fine on the first bottle, but on the second one I started having occasional breakouts.

I love the smell the packaging and the price is great. If it wasnt for my sensitive skin I would definately buy again as it gave my skin a very healthly even colour and glow without making it oily.

Very good and balanced product.

I've been using this product for 2 years and have been very satisfied with the results. This product gives me the "natural glow" I get compliments on my skin all the time and am asked what do I use on my face ranging from men to women. This product is not the best for oily skin. Combination. normal and dry skin should use this line.

This seems a little expensive at first but it lasts and lasts, I get through 3 a year at €35 a pop, which isn't too bad.

I was suffering from combination skin- dry overall, but with some breakouts around my chin- and now my skin is perfect!

The Dr. Hauscka website recommends only moisturising once a day- letting your skin produce some moisture, as if you continually apply moisture your skin will think it doesn't need to produce any of its own. I found this to be good advice, my skin just doesn't seem dry any more! Also, you press it on, rather than massage it in.

If your skin is more or less normal and not overly sensitive, I'd recommend giving this a try. Decent basic moisturiser, not for drier skin. In milder weather, and normal skin conditions: moisturising enough on mid-30s sensitive skin (a little dry, some cystic acne on chin). Not sufficient for colder, drier weather. It is indeed, as others below have said, very like Clinique DDML in texture: a light, yellow fluid.

At a time of skin-panic, I tested this out, along with the Rose Day Cream Light, and using the Dr.H rhythmic method. I did this or a good month before reviewing; but that's about the only bit of decent methodology I employed in this test (given skin in bad shape and being super-irritable, plus testing out more than one new thing at once).

The initial feel of the Moisturizing was not as smooth as that of the Rose Light; the Rose had that velvetiness and silkiness I'd usually associate with a cyclopentasiloxane-based moisturiser. It felt more pleasant, sunk into skin better, left skin more moist and supple; whereas the Moisturizing didn't, indeed leaving skin quite dry. I also tried using a combination of the two creams, with an extra layer of the Rose Light on drier patches. Meh. My main symptoms before and during the Dr.H test-period were a dry flaky nose and dry, slightly scaly patches along the tops of my cheeks. These felt slightly better for a short time with the Rose Light, but were not alleviated in the longer term until I ditched the rhythm method and went back to old-fashioned basics, as it were: using plain oil (sunflower) and emollient cream (Allergenics) to moisturise.

Very easy to use: dot a very small amount around face and pat and smoothe around. No rubbing and tugging. Needs quite fast work, as it skinks in rapidly. I used it all over, oilier areas included.

Wouldn't buy again, though I would test out the Rose Light again, when skin is in a stable condition, and I'd do it more methodologically properly this time. Especially only one new thing at a time.

I did find the Dr H. regime to some extent useful: the part of not using night-cream. I use a moderate version: having now figured out which bits of me get very dessicated when left to heir own devices, I only moisturise them, and only very lightly; other than that, after cleansing, I slap on some rosehip oil. I like to think this is a compromise on the non-moisturising business, as it isn't a cream and feels like a light serum.*

Packaging: glass to help it keep, a pump dispenser, and slighty retro. But it is horrendous. I can't live with it. For the sake of avoiding that repulsive gold top alone, I decanted the lot into a super-high-standard PET pump bottle of similar dimensions (thank you Muji, masters of the minimal, tasteful, and useful). And I know glass is all very good and virtous and so on, but it's a seriously bad idea for an extremely short-sighted person blundering around the bathroom sans glasses first thing in the morning, before you bring the early-morning lack-of-coordination factors into play.

Worth either getting your hands on a sample or using the smaller size first to check this works with your particular skin. Available in 30 ml and 100 ml. The 100 ml. version works out the same price as the Clinique DDML here. USD 60.00 / EUR 38.00 or thereabouts. I'm using a lot less than I did with the DDML (about 4 or 5 years back), so Dr H is a better buy. It's also the cheapest of all the Dr H moisturisers. And like them all very nice and ethical and green, no funny business with animals, etc.

INGREDIENTS: Water/Aqua, Anthyllis Vulneraria Extract, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Alcohol, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract, Arachis Hypogaea (Peanut) Oil, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Hypericum Perforatum (St. John'swort) Extract, Glycerin, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Lecithin, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Fragrance/Parfum (Essential Oil), Limonene, Linalool, Farnesol, Benzyl Benzoate, Geraniol, Citronellol, Citral, Eugenol, Benzyl Salicylate, Algin, Xanthan Gum

*So I can persuade myself this isn't cheating. Besides, Dr H are the ones who ought to making excuses for themselves here, re. their crazy-money (and a bit cult or b/s?) Rhythmic Night Conditioners. They all have some oils in them, and the sensitive one includes rosehip.

I did really like this moisturizer. For my dry skin, it's definitely not enough alone, but in this cold November weather it has been great under the toned day cream or another moisturizer. I've also found that it can be applied OVER make-up when a dry patch appears without messing your face up (and even give it a nice glow), which is fantastic. I keep a trial size of this in my purse and use it for spot treatment during the day as needed.

I have dry, sensitive, eczema prone skin. I love this cream, it is runny but still very moisturising. It's light and sinks in quickly due to the consistency and I love the slightly dewy glow I'm left with, so I use it in the mornings. Would buy again if not for the price tag, I'm looking for something cheaper but at least I know I can go back to this.

I got this as a sample in the normal skincare kit and so far I have enjoyed using it. I have super pale skin and this gives me a nice etheral glow.

I have been using the Rose cream light with good results but liked the sound of luminous skin. Currently I have been adding a little to a splodge of rose cream and its been working well so far. Gives my face a really healthy glow and moisturises my oily skin nicely. Consistancy is a little runny and you don't need much. I feared it may have made me slick towards the end of the day but it did not. Makeup goes on nicely and smoothly over it. The sample is just in a metal tube (which I love) so I can't comment on the pump bottle. Price is expensive but worth trying the sample

Obviously I'm adding this in slowly so not sure how it works on its own but will update later. So far so good. Another Dr. Hauschka gem

UPDATE: Think this started to congest my skin so stopped using it. Maybe the oils and waxes are too rich for me? Shame as it was lovely.

The best thing about this moisturizer is the smell. It is uplifting and is so therapeutic just to breath it in! Other than that, it is a not-too-heavy moisturizer, ideal for putting under makeup. Unfortunately, no sunscreen. I would not, however, recommend it for oily skins.
It does seem to have something in it that "brightens" my complexion. The pump bottle is nice too. Have bought twice.

I love this! A little goes a long way, it's light and clean but still effective and gives my skin a good texture. Sometimes I use this alone after cleansing and toning in the morning, and sometimes I apply a little over the Normalizing Oil. It takes care of any dryness and doesn't clog pores.

My acne-prone, combination skin (oily t-zone, very large pores on my cheeks, black heads everywhere), has definitely changed since starting my all-Hauschka routine about 3 months ago. And while I never thought I'd say this about a skincare line, I think you absolutely have to use all (or at least most) Dr. Hauschka products to benefit and truly change your skin. All the products compliment each other. I also think that application technique is very important with basically every Hauschka product, so you have to do some research and find what works best for you. If you're not interested in using all natural products, and can't invest time and patience (and money!!) into this (my morning, night-time, and weekly mask routines take much longer, but it really becomes a happy ritual for me because I feel like I'm taking care of myself), then they're probably not for you.

I love this moisturizer! It's not too thick, but provides the right amount of moisture for my combo skin. Also leaves my face looking radiant and glowy. It is a bit on the greasy side upon application, but it absorbs pretty quick, leaving your face silky and smooth. The scent is citrusy and fresh. I like the dispenser bottle too and for the amount you get for the price, it's definitely a keeper! Right now, I alternate between this moisturizer and L'Occitane's Shea SPF moisturizer and have great results. I've used it for several weeks by itself with no dry spots or problems. Def a repurchase if I ever run out - this stuff lasts forever too!

This is a great everyday, hydrating lotion that gets rid of dryness in a pinch. First of all, the smell is gorgeous; a rich citrus with a herbal tone, yet it isn't overpowering. The pump packaging means it is hygienic and easier to dispense. After using this for just five days with Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream, my skin is much softer, clearer and calm. This divine yellowy cream sinks in immediately, leaving my skin dewy without being greasy, feeling soft and smooth. I only need a tiny dollop of this thin, milky cream to cover my whole face and neck and the small 30ml bottle lasted me 4 months with daily use; which is good value for money.

I like this moisturizer. It is fresh feeling and smelling, and it moisturizes without breaking me out.. It works best when applied over damp skin, when it can sink in and really do its job. No more dryness for me, although I do like to apply a bit of the Rose Cream over it during the winter.

It is a thin, pale yellow, moisturizer that reminds me of a natural version of Clinique's Dramatically Different moisturizer. With the sample kits that Dr. H offers, its worth giving it a try to determine which one works the best for you.

Editing 5/8/13: I had to give this one up, as I have discovered that I am sensitive to most botanicals in products. As interested as I am in using natural products, I just can't. This was lovely, but I have to move on. Currently using Elta MD skincare.

I've been using this cream for about a week now as my day cream (It is the first time in my life I have changed my routine to have different products in the morning and at night)

First thoughts - I LOVE the pump bottle. Perfect packaging and easy to lock for travelling (I've yet to test that to see how well it stays locked, but I an sure I will have plenty of opportunity). I also really love the smell of this cream.

The consistency put me off a bit when I tested it out at Sephora, but when the dab I put on my hand felt better than any of the other moisurizers I tried, I decided that would be the one I'd buy.

I have really dry, acne-prone skin so my first concern is always whether a product will break me out. So far this one doesn't appear to. It leaves my skin soft and it sinks in by the time I finish blowdrying my hair and am ready to start my makeup (feels a bit greasy at first, but that goes away)

Overall, I really like it right now and the price (about $35 CDN) isdecent (I have paid the same for Dramatically Different for the past 10 years so it is right in the range I can comfortably keep up)
