I am now on my third tube of this foundation and I'm still just in love as I was the day I bought it. Medium coverage, silky application, staying power, and hydration. Never clogs my pores and gives the most beautiful glowing natural finish. My HG foundation.

I got several samples of this foundation in the bag of free goodies that UD was giving out (spend $50, get the bag worth $50) and tried it today. I have combination-oily skin with big pores and lots of red in my cheeks and nose. The 1.0 one was a bit too light but the closest match (1.5 is generally all right for me). By the end of the work day I noticed it was all but faded and my skin was very oily and sticky. It transferred to my fingertips if I touched my face at any time during the day, despite having set it with Tarte powder. It also made a healing blemish look pretty obvious and awful. Would not purchase.

I was really excited to try this product out however i'm really disappointed in it. It is light coverage which is what i wanted however i have normal/slightly dry skin and it just clings to every flake or dry patch. Although it does look good with powder to smooth it out at first, after a few hours it really does look terrible.
Definitely would not buy this again.

I was very excited to get this foundation as the ladies at Sephora
made it seem like a dream come true. I bought shade 1.0 which was the perfect shade for me. When I first applied the foundation (primer first) I was mostly pleased but not even an hour later it looked AWFUL. It made my skin even dryer and made it look flaky and I only have a little dry skin. If you have dry skin STAY AWAY from this product it only makes things worse, I would rather not wear anything. If you have almost perfect skin or a little oily this would probably be perfect for you(:

This foundation was easy to blend and offered a little bit of a glow, too. I wouldn't buy this again due to it being quite watery and it didn't offer much coverage when it came to my acne marks no matter how much I tried to build it up. If you've got perfect skin with barely any blemishes it would be perfect for you but as a women who suffered from acne and is left with the marks I wouldn't say buy this. The ingredients is good for the skin and it does make your skin feel like you've got nothing on thus the name naked but definitely used better.

I’m a huge fan of Urban Decay face products, so I knew I had to try this out. The pore perfecting primer is HG for me. It was also well advertised and I remember the initial reviews were positive. So I marched down to Sephora and I got a sample that lasted me a full week. Therefore I had some time to see if it was for me or not. The foundation is advertised as demi-matte, but it was more matte for me. I would say it was about the same as all my other matte foundations that I have owned in the past. The coverage was definitely medium. This didn’t look all that great on me.I seem to prefer more of a "glow" and I don't get that with this foundation. I hope to try Estee Lauder next. I will not purchase.

I love this foundation. I got the shade 9.0 and it blended into my skin really well. I like the colour availability for this product. This is a light weight foundation with build able coverage. I have sensitive acne prone skin and this product did not break me out at all. I love the fact that this product along with wearing a primer kept the oils off my face for a longer period of time. I am almost done my first bottle. This product has lasted me over 6 months. I would defiantly repurchase this product as it is my holy grail foundation.

I love this foundation. As for liquid foundation it is for sure my favorite. They have a lot of shades so it is very easy to find a good match for your skin tone. I have dry skin and the only problem I have with this is that sometimes when it dries it gets flaky and makes my dry skin more dry. It's very expensive for how much you get in the bottle but without a doubt I would buy it again.

Let me start by saying-- finding a foundation to work for me has been a battle for YEARS for me.
My skin is FAIR, and i mean snow white... every foundation i get, i always buy the LIGHTEST -0 shade, and it always comes out WAY to dark on me- fake, cake , mask look.
Maybelline mousse foundation was the closest to my pale i could find without making me look like a oompa-loopma. So ive been using that for years... I always thought I had oily skin, always using rice blot papers during the days.
I went into Macys with a random gift card from the holidays, thought what the heck, might as well try to ask around and find a "posh expensive" brand foundation for free..
Lady tried on URBAN DECAY NAKED SKIN 05, the lighest color with PINK highlights. LOW AND BEHOLD. I COLOUR FOR ME. This line makes so many different shades, i think anyone can make use of it!
It goes so super smooth, and I cannot get over how it looks matt ALL day. How i used to have to use rice blot papers every few hours during a 8 hour shift, i didnt even use it ONCE. If anything-- it sucked the oil out of my skin. Ive worn it for a few days now, putting it on at 8am-- take off around 10Pm. it lasts ALL day. i am shocked how beautiful it lasts. nevver seen a foundation that has such a matt glow for so many hours.
i totally recommend trying it; for the women who have horrible times trying to match up a foundation shade to their "unqiue" color, urban decay has got your back

NOTE Ive had this for three days, I will update for long term results. One of the best things about this is, is how easy it is to find my shade, which is usually nearly impossible, since my skin is a lighter shade of brown, but not white. Its tricky. When i found it in Ulta, it was easy to find my exact shade because there were so many to choose from to pinpoint my exact shade. The thing that drew me to this was, well, the size. I dont like spending my money on ridiculously small bottles.First I shake the bottle (ALWAYS shae the bottle) I push the pump down a little (dont push it down all the way it will be a mess, and then youll panic try to spread it on your face and will end up like snooki) 3 or 4 times does it for me. For about two light layers, i also dab some over my dark circles over my concealer.. Any more than two layers and it will become cakey. I liked that it gave my skin and even tone. But it didnt really cover any of my spots, which aren't really dark so i didnt really like that aspect. I have oily and dry skin on the center of my skin, so the foundation made my skin look cakey and my pores looked bigger. But people actually told me that they could barely see my blemishes so maybe I'm just being picky. I apply this using a flat 7$ foundation brush from Revlon. It works fine if you are careful. Oh, I use the smashbox primer, the green one so it stayed in place for about seven or eight hours (yay!) idk how long it would last without it, never tried, Im afraid to.
Overall: I'd give this a 3.7 (dont ask me why .7 I felt it was right) Its good for evening skin tone out, but it could cover blemishes better at such a high price (39 dollars without tax) I (THAK GOD) have not any acne for about acne for about a week now so idk how it would cover angry red bumps, probably not that well since it couldn't really conceal my light scars. But it didnt break me out at all, and i love the color. It looks really natural.

For some reason lately I have had the driest skin ever! I had heard great things about this foundation but was nervous because I read many reviews that said it can make you look greasy and it wasn't matte enough (I also have an oily t zone). I got a sample from Sephora and fell in love! It's perfect for my skin and never gets oily. Best of all it doesn't make my dry spots worse. For reference I am an NC42 and I wear 8.0. I think 7.0 would be better for me if it were winter.

Since a foundation recently ruined my skin (thanks, covergirl!) I'm super cautious about what I put on my face. Before taking the plunge & smothering my face in this product I spot tested it on my arm.
* did not cover anything (even freckles)
* gave me a red "rash"? (Small bumps) within 2 hours
I don't see how this would offer any coverage. & isn't that the point of foundation? For $40 bucks I was disappointed in this product. I thought this would be my HG but sadly my skin does not like it.

Preface: Over the past year my skin has become very dry (hormones changed I'm guessing), so using my usual powder foundation (bare essentials matte) didn't work for me anymore. Also, I used to struggle with acne (reason I could pretty much only use BE without breaking out), but that problem seems to have cleared up almost completely. With the change in skin, I set out to find a new foundation.
Review: I heard such great things about this foundation and love so many urban decay products, so I expected to love this. Unfortunately, it was a major failure for me. I liked the look of the foundation on my face, but it was nothing amazing, even so I was satisfied--color match was good and it gave a reasonable amount of coverage. Then I started noticing a lot of dry flaky patches on my skin throughout the day (a problem that I hadn't been having at the time). The worst part, though, was that after a few days of wearing it my skin started breaking out pretty bad to the point where I knew something was irritating it (I would have new blemishes by the end of the day with the foundation on). I decided to try using a different foundation for a day to see if that would help and, low and behold, no dry patches and after one day my blemishes started healing (2 days later and the breakout is almost completely gone--the only change was the foundation).
Keep in mind, I do have sensitive skin, but I haven't had the issue with foundations breaking me out since my skin cleared up (which is due to my face wash, not a foundation that I was using).

I read quite a few reviews on MUA before setting out to purchase a new foundation. I was torn between MAC Studio Fix and UD Naked, but I am so glad I chose Naked. I have pretty good skin, and this product is wonderful for a natural and flawless look. I use a primer then apply Naked. If I have a blemish or tired eyes, I also use a concealer and finish off with mineral veil. I watched the UD video on how to apply the product and the method works great for me. This is not cakey or mask-like, which is exactly what I wanted. There is a wide variety of shades to choose from, the pump packaging is so convenient, and this has not caused me to break out. If you have decent skin to begin with, give this product a go!

I really like this foundation. It gives me the coverage I need to cover up my acne scars. 4.0 matches my medium skintone very well (I'm about NC30-NC35) and I like that it doesn't oxidize through out the day. It lasts a good 4-5 hours before I have to touch up my t-zone, but that's because I have oily skin. I like that it doesn't have any fragrance and that it has SPF 15. . I don't like that you can't open up the bottle and use up every bit of product. It is a bit pricey at $39 but I really like how it performs so I will be repurchasing.

My review is based on a sample that I received. I chose 3.5 for my NC30-ish skin tone. I do think that this was probably a shade too light.
What I liked: The product imparts a nice glow to the skin. I think it would probably look best on those with dry skin and a smooth skin texture.
What I didn't like: The main problem I had is that the product produced a white cast on my skin. This is apart from the fact that the shade was too light-- the white cast was similar to what I see when I wear certain mineral sunscreens; even if I'd worn a darker shade, I'm sure the cast would have still been there, producing somewhat of a "flashback" effect. (In fact, I did go over it with a darker powder. This corrected the color but the white cast was still there.)
The second problem I had was lack of coverage. I have certain small areas of red/purple discoloration which are fairly easy to cover with foundation. I noticed that this foundation allowed those discolorations to show through. It also doesn't do a thing to camouflage pores or other problems related to skin texture.
This product reminds me most of Armani's Maestro foundation. (Thin consistency, glides on easily, light coverage). And yes, it's about a third of the cost, so it would be a nice dupe-- except that it's not. The Armani foundation doesn't produce that ghostly white cast.
So, I tossed my sample and I won't be purchasing a full size of this.

I got this foundation a week ago, after finishing my laura mercier tinted moisturizer. My face was troubled when I first used this foundation because of the covergirl 3 in 1 foundation. Though I had blemishes, it covered the redness quite well and I loved the semi matte finish. Now that my major blemishes are gone and am left with scars, I find that this foundation looks sooooooo perfect. As if I do not have any make up on (hence the name naked).
My shade is 2.0, which matches my yellow NC15/20 perfectly. I would definitely repurchase until I find a better one

I just recently switched back to wearing foundation instead of my beloved tinted moisturizers and was attracted to UD's Naked Skin because of the texture and coverage. I did not want a heavy foundation, but I wanted more coverage than my typical tinted moisturizers were giving me. I really think this is a great option if that's what you're looking for. Personally, I think the color selections are great for this foundation (I use 1.0) and almost anyone can find a great match, especially since this foundation isn't as dense and some of your natural skin tone can shine through.
I like this foundation a lot because it's pretty lightweight and very blendable. I also like the formula because it's smooth to apply and is a nice, demi-matte; not too dewy but not starkly matte. I know I'm probably buying into the marketing gimmick but I truly believe pairing this with UD's Good Karma foundation brush (meant to be used with Naked), gives the best application and finish. It really helps to blur out imperfections and makes my skin look smooth and radiant. Which is always a plus, right? ;)
As for wear time, I find it to be about average. I use this over moisturizer and primer and under setting powder. Sometimes I do have to blot my face a little after about 4-6 hours but, then again, I do live in the South!
I also like the packaging this comes in and find that this foundation goes a longgg way for me. I generally use one gentle pump for my whole face.
If you're looking for a heavy, full coverage foundation than this probably isn't for you. But if you are wanting some lightweight coverage to smooth out your skin, I'd definitely recommend this!

This was my first h.e. foundation. My shade is 1.0
I have been happy with it. I found that it works best with a primer. I apply it with a brush. It's a 'wet' formula, that I have to let 'cook' on the skin before applying concealer or blush.
I now mix it with another foundation to get the right shade, because the UD is a little yellow for me. (My skin tone is neutral to cool.) I've used it for over two months, a little bit does go a long way. The pump bottle is a great design: easy to get the right amount, and wipes clean.
At christmas time is was hard to find, 1.0 was sold out around town, and on two websites. Given the right shopping discount and personal need, I'd purchase this again. I think Naked Skin is a great product from 2012. :-)
