For a stain, this is a good product. I had several clients come running in and raving about it so I had to try it. I got "liquid kiss" which is a better-than-your-lips bitten brick color. It lasts about half a day on me, but I guess stains really aren't my thing so its going back to the store.

These really do STAIN - it's not just a hint of tint...they are opaque enough to change the color of my lips. I find them superior to other stain cosmetics - same runny liquid consistency like Benefit's Benetint - stronger/bold pigments, longer lasting (won't melt off in the hottest weather), and more even color overall. It's very important to exfoliate the lips/skin prior to applying...and make sure the surface is dry to the touch. I swipe or dot the product on and quickly blend with my fingers or with a Q-tip. I have two colors: "Cupid's Breath" - a deep peachy red, and "Baby Boo" - a deep pink (almost fuschia). Both look great against my skintone on their own. For my lips, I like to layer on some gloss or bronzey lipcolors on top for extra shine/warmth. NOTE: The tube tends to leak from time to time...if toting this in your purse/pocket, wrap it in a small plastic bag to avoid accidental stains.
UPDATE (08/02/08) -- I just tried the shade "My Sunshine" -- it's in the red family like Cupid's Breath, but I would recommend it for cool toned skin.

This stuff is fantastic! It smells and tastes a bit like vanilla too. Everyone's already said how it's great, I agree, so buy it!! : )

I just bought this product today, but i already LOVE it. I purchased baby boo, and it is the EXACT color of my very pigmented lips. Anyway, the application can be a bit difficult, but as long as you blend, you will end up with a gorgeous, glowy flush. The color is almost a dark pink bordering on rosy...but i wouldnt quite call it red. More like the perfect mix of dark pink and red. It's not overwhelming at all, and it will compliment my light skin tone this winter! I think i have found my perfect cheek/lip stain. It beats tartes by a mile.

I LOVE this lip stain!! I purchased it in Cupid's Breath, which is not as orangey as it looks on some website pictures. It's the perfect color to go with my auburn hair & hazel eyes. It also goes on very smoothly and is easy to blend without streaking, unlike BeneTint. I don't like using stains as blushes so I only use it on my lips, but I'll always have this stuff with me!

I am a lip stain junkie, and this is my HG for now. Use it in Baby Boo and simply adore it. The color is perfect and the coverage is EXTREMELY buildable! It dries fast but not TOO fast, so you have time to blend it in. It smells like whipped cream - A+++ in my book! I have a feeling one tube is going to last me ages, which is great because it's a little expensive. The packaging is wonderful - the tube actually FEELS nice, the applicator is perfect, and you can actually see how much is left in the tube.

Love Longo and love these cheek stains. If I use cheek stains I like to keep the cheeks almost makeup free, and these dry nice and matte, almost blending into your skin like a real flush from a workout or suntan. Last very well, colors are impeccable.

Wow, after Benetint, Tarte, etc etc I finally found my HG gel stain. let me say first, that the word gel put me off, as I tend to find liquid stains longer lasting than gel stains. Tarte was sticky, and only lasted 6 hours. This lasts alllllll day, and only a dot is needed, easy to blend, natural looking, etc etc. Almost like my other HG but discontinued L'oreal Pinch of Color. I have this in Baby Boo (too much like benetint and fuschia colored for me) and Liquid Kiss and Cupid's Breath. Honestly, on my yellow undertoned light skin, I don't notice much of a difference between Liquid Kiss and Cupid's Breath...both are reddish tints. Love love love.

Was a loyal benetint user until they changed the formula (runnier, not as much pigment) and found VL stain. It is great! Stays on all day, and it's easier to apply than benetint. Use it everyday!

This is definitely one of the best stain products out there--I courted Benefit, clinique and Nars, and this stain was easiest to apply and most pigmented. It also smells nice--sweet like vanilla. That said, it is expensive! $23!! You don't need much though, so it should last quite a long time. I have Baby Boo--a pure darker pink and Neo Aura--a neutral, realistic brown (no orange tones on me at all). I only use this as a blush and find that if I dot it lightly on moist skin and work quickly, building colour a little at a time, both shades give very natural hues to the cheeks that last all day. The effect is natural and glowy. The colour doesn't even budge on my rather oily skin--even after I blotted! So I imagine it would have excellent staying power on most complexions even in the most humid weather. This product is an great alternative if cream blushes are too oily for you, but powder blushes either clump or are too high maintenance during the day. Overall, it looks like I'm wearing no makeup! I'm also experiencing fewer breakouts and clogged pores because I'm no longer layering bronzing powder with blush on top of my moiturizer. This product is a winner. My only pet peeve: the container is non-recyclable. I wish MAC would come up with a good stain, but until then, I won't waste my money on inferior alternatives to VL's product.

I have to say I'm really impressed with these. Got two shades. Neo Aura: brownish with enough red as to not look too muddy and Liquid Kiss: a deeper red shade. I like the Neo Aura best. I don't think I can wear the Liquid Kiss by itself. It's pretty bright on me so I actually add a dab on top of the Neo Aura. I really like the effect. Stays on all day and I mean all day! Shows up really well even under my foundation. Looks really pretty and natural. Can be layered for intensity and doesn't cause any breakouts or dryness etc. I was using Lorac sheer rapture but this has much better staying power on me. I've also used Tarte stains, but they are too sticky for my liking. I use the Neo Aura shade on my lips as well but under my regular lipstick as it's a little drying and flat. These are kind of expensive at $22.50 a piece (they are pretty small) but I think they are worth it because of the staying power and you don't need to use alot. I will surely repurchase, as they're the best I have used so far!

I was in Sephora looking for Tarte cheeck gel when the SA suggested this product. I am so glad! It is for lips and cheeks, comes in four fab shades - I have Angel's Touch - and the sponge tip applicator is very user friendly. If you apply it on your cheeks after moisturizing and then apply your foundation or powder, your flush will look totally natural and last all day! I put it on my lips and then apply clear gloss over it periodically throughout the day and it just lasts forver.

I really like this product...I don't use the applicator to apply it all over my cheek (I can see how one might end up with "scribbly" effect another MUAer described!), but dot it in a couple of places and then blend with my fingers. Builds well, and lasts all day but comes off easily with soap and water. Gives that glowing-from-within look that is great on everyone.

This stuff is pretty good, and the Neo Auro color is a decent, non-intrusive color, reddish brown and not too pinky. The packaging is cute and portable. However, when I move to Colorado and drove up to the mountains with this, the tube expanded quite a bit and is all distorted now. My next tint will be a solid, if only I can find something peachy-colored and not too pricey. I really liked this but probably won't buy again.

got this in baby boo. it's really nice....it stains very well, stays on forever. it's a very pretty color (and i was impressed by the range of other color choices too) and nice consistency....it is watery enough that you can blend it pretty easily but viscous enough that it won't drip all over the place. it also feels very comfortable....no stickies like with the tarte gels. the little velour applicator is also helpful for ensuring that you don't get any leftover dots. i was a little surprised, though, with how strong the color is....i happily slapped it on and ended up looking like i had scribbled on my cheeks with a hot pink fluorescent highlighter marker! not so cute. so really, a little goes a long way. my only complaint is that it sticks to and accentuates any flaky patches on your skin, and it's really hard to buff it out once it does. oh and i'm not entirely crazy about the super strong vanilla scent. but all in all it's a really lovely, natural flushy sort of stain. good stuff. UPDATE: or not. compared to the colors of tarte gel this is nothing. go for tarte instead, it's so much easier to apply and look natural.

I have this is Angel's Touch, the purpley shade. Looks like scary dark purple in the tube but more of a berry shade. Reminds me of Smashbox Ultraviolet or Tarte Blushing Bride. Very wearable shade.
This product was just allright for me. It is thicker than benetint, with a gel like consistency so its easier to work with. On my lips this doesnt last that long. Not through a meal at all. On my cheeks, I really need quite a bit to get enough color(nc30 and like a lot of color). It lasts pretty well through the day, i just prefer smashbox or tarte over this. Its allright.
For $22.50, i want something better. Comes in a tube like mascara with a wand applicator. I would not repurchase unless I fell in love with one of the other colors!

Stains are my thing, and this product has become my favorite. I have it in Liquid Kiss - which is the only long lasting (it is!) stain in a true red tone (not pink, not orangey.) Angel's Touch is a plummy, brown purple that is also unique in my my experience. Interestingly the consistency of the two colors differs slightly. The Liquid Kiss is runnier/less sticky and longer lasting (?) Even so, they both beat Urban Decay's, Toni & Tina's, Benetint, Body Shop's etc.
Pretty expensive at $22 a pop but a little goes a long way. (Screw the cap on tight.)
I love this product.

I have this in Baby Boo and LOVE it. After hearing about UD drying out I decided not to waste my money on UD but try this and I'm so glad I did. I use it along with a lip liner and usually put my lip stick on top, this way when the lipstick wears off, I have the pretty Baby Boo still on. It isn't drying on my lips or tacky feeling..You don't even know it's there. No funny taste or smell.

I LOVE the Neo Aura. I have Blnd hair & Brwn eyes and it is the perfect bronzer in the morning when I am on the go. some on my cheeks, some on my lips and some mascara and I am out the door. It lasts all day and blends so well - doesn't streak.
