Such a unique and beautiful color! I have not seen this anywhere else or done by any other np brand. It's a lavender-magenta-pink. No shimmer, pearl, or glitter. It's true to bottle color after two coats. But it does have a very very slight jelly quality to it. I will definitely repurchase.

Certain pinks make me nervous but I'm in love with this color! Applies easily and doesn't chip easily. I don't usually write reviews on nail polish but just had to for this one

Essie Splash of Grenadine is a pinkie, purple and lavender of color. This is a perfect color for people whose favorite colors are lavender or pink because this is a color in between of the two. This is one of my favorite nail polishes. It applies so smooth and with no problems. I only need 2 coat of applications on each nail to get the smooth and pigmented color that I wanted. It lasts over a week (7- 9 days) on my nail with Sache Vite's quick dry on top. It does not chip completely, just very minor chip on the tip of the nails where I cannot tell unless I look at them very closely. And the color still remains fresh as when first applied with some of the shines gone. I would recommend Essie Splash of Grenadine to anyone looking for that perfect pinkie and purple color and that will lasts over a week of application.

I know this is from last season's Spring or Summer collection, but I have been wanting to try it for awhile. It's a violet purple and took about three coats to get the shade intensity that I like, but I don't mind. It's so shiny without any topcoat. It feels smooth and looks like a jelly polish.

I saw this color in one of Essie's recent collections and thought it was so unique and I love purple tones of polish. About two coats to be super opaque and the finish is very glossy and smooth without any topcoat etc. Very happy with this color.

I loove this color. It's bright, summery and fun. It looks on my hands exactly the way it looks in the bottle. I wear it multiple times during the spring/summer months and definitely looking for another bottle as my the one i currently own is running low.

This color is so unique and lovely. I can't stop staring at my nails. It applied like a dream and was opaque in two coats.

Lovely color. I only needed to apply two coats for it to be opaque. Easy application.

I received this as a RAOK from one of my favorite MUAers <3 and I was quite excited as I've tried Essie before. Additionally, I can't quite say I've ever had any color in the least bit similar to Splash of Grenadine.
How to describe? I pinked lilac creme? To me, it's very reminiscent of Easter or spring.
The product applied very nicely and evenly - two coats over a base coat and I was satisfied with the opacity - and I'm usually one to apply at least three coats. With Barielle top coat, my manicure lasted well over a weak with a little bit of tip wear - unusually long since I'm rather rough on my hands and nails.
I really adored the stark, but elegant accent of color with my tan skin tone. I can see this being very apropos for work, the weekends, a night out - a "safe" pink that's a step outside the lines. I was almost sad I hadn't thought to match my toenails. Well there is next time!

Beautiful lavender/purple/pink color is how I describe it. It's a cream and very long wearing. I received many compliments on it...it works well with my NC-20 skin tone. One of my favorite Essie's ever.

Love love LOVE this colour! I love that it's colourful with out being in-your-face. I've entered my 30th year and I want colour but all my MAC polishes are looking a bit too garish for me. This is just enough to satisfy my colour craving without scaring anyone with fuschia nails. And as a previous reviewer said, it's a sweet colour. Much love for having a Spalsh of Grenadine on my nails!

This is a sweet lavendar-pink color that looks awesome on cool-toned skin. It's a soft girly pink...I found it looked best with 3 coats, 2 coats was still somewhat sheer. This is a really nice summer color if you're looking for a feminine soft color.

I love this color! I had read that some people thought it was streaky and they had to do 3+ coats to get a "normal" finish. I didn't have that problem, I did my normal 2 coats and then used the OPI Top Coat and it came out salon perfect!
The color is great and will transition well into early fall.

Very pretty, purplish pink color that immediately caught my eye. It reminds me a bit of purple-pink Chicklets gum. Not very "stand-out-ish" when worn as a pedicure, but works well with many different looks and clothing colors. I plan to wear this color for the rest of the summer.
