I've been really excited for the Rouge Coco line to come out and this color caught my eye immediately. It's the most beautiful deep rose pink, very classic. The color looks natural. Strangely, it's close to the shade of my fingertips when I'm cold... that sort of rosy flush. It's rich and very pigmented. There isn't an obvious glitter, but the finish does have a gorgeous light reflecting sheen and an almost undetectable shimmer. I suppose this is the "metallic" finish described on Chanel's website. I'm very pale and cool toned and this matches my skin very well.
I only need one thin swipe to get full color saturation. It just glides on and feels very moisturizing and actually has decent slip for a lipstick. The color deposit reminds me of a tint because the color leaves a slight stain even when the moisturizing effects wear off. Compared to my other Chanel lipsticks (such as the Rouge Allure and Aqualumiere lines), I prefer the Rouge Coco as far as texture and consistency goes. The formula feels less thick and waxy than most lipsticks, and it doesn't dry oddly when it fades.
The packaging is the typical elegant Chanel black and gold. For the quality and beautiful color range the price is completely worth it. I would repurchase this color if I ever finish it.
