This is the second mineralized blush I purchased for the Grand Duo collection (the first being Grand Duo). I really wanted to try some of the richer, orange/brown colored blushes, but I decided to try something that seemed to be a little more out there in terms of color choice.
My skin tone is light tan, with very olive undertones. The color of this blush, although extremely bright pink in the case, is really not as scary as on the skin as one might think. Yes, if you apply a large amount onto your cheeks, the result is a very hot pink spot. But when applied gradually, and with a light hand, the outcome is a very nice flush of purple/pink, or blue/pink. It is very bright, and can be considered one of your more fun blushes. Where it when you feel a little more adventurous or when you're going out for the night with the boyfriend or friends.
In my opinion, it's very pretty. The application is nice, smooth, blendable, and buildable. Don't forget however, that since this is a mineralized blush, glitter and shine will be included. If you're not a fan of glitter in your blush, then I would definitely not recommend purchasing this product. What a shame though, for these mineralized blushes are such a pretty thing to have! A little glitter never hurt anybody =]
Its staying power is very strong, and I feel like it is going to last me a very long time. Again, like many other products, a little love rock goes a long way.
I would definitely repurchase this product [too bad it's limited edition! =\ ], but I don't think that repurchasing is a MUST. I like to experiment with new things, and I find that if I am not so in love with a product right away, that I feel like I need to get another one ASAP, then repurchasing can be avoided.
I know I'm writing a review on this product a little late, but if you happen to have seen this product on ebay, allcosmeticswholesale, or what have you and are thinking about it, I would go ahead and purchase it. Why not? If you're tight on money, I'd skip it. There are plenty of other blushes out there that are just as good.

This is the greatest light pink shade. I love it if I want just a subtle sheen-y blush for the day. It gives off a nice flush for your cheeks, not too overdone or under-done. It's too bad that it's limited edition.

I love this blush!!! Its a cool shimmery pink. It does give a cute pink glow minus annoying glitter. Im NC45-50 and this shade is very flattering. Not in love with the price but still love the product.

LOVE this color. It is a gorgeous shimmery pink that looks GREAT with a purple eye shadow. Warm pinks are great and this is such a perfect blend of pink and shimmer. Not too frosty but gives just the right amount of glow. The shimmery side can be used as a highlighter also. But I have been wearing them mixed together as a blush for the perfect pink cheek!

Great pink blush. Some violet tones as well but overall pink. it makes my cheeks pop and can be applied softly, heavily, or as a highlight and it always looks great!

Its a real shame this is a LE because its adorable. It gives a gorgeous, shimmery pink frost to the cheeks, and every time I wear it I look healthy and radiant. Love it! I managed to get this a few weeks ago at Bloomingdales, so you may still manage to hunt it down. Well worth purchasing.

I see some people describe a frosty look left from this blush which confuses me because although Yes it looks frosty and glittery in the pan once applied it just gives me a baby pink GLOW. Maybe it just depends on the pan you pick, mine has a mix of all golden, lavender, and pearl colors along with the solid bright pink on the other half. I wouldve have never bought this had I not swatch it on my arm out of curiosity trust me, it looks too glittery and shiny on the pan and I hate glitter on my face. But once on the skin the color is amazing, the perfect blue-tone blush, gives a baby pink flush like cotton candy. Also it may depend how people are wearing it, use a light hand and I wear mine swiping my brush from the end of the highlighter half all the way to the end of the blush part to get enough of both mixed. Its the pefect healthy young pink glow. Im in LOVE

One word: LOVE.
I had been on a hunt for the PERFECT blush, and thought I found it with Clinique, but stopping off at the MAC counter while on vacation, I saw this pretty pretty compact. I bought it without trying it on....and when I got back to the hotel, immediately put some on. SO beautiful! The PERFECT flushed pink, and looked awesome with my tan. I want to stock up on this, if I can find it anymore. Such a pretty color!

This is my HG pink blush. At first I applied too much and it made my cheeks too pink/red, now I dab and properly buff it in for a nice healthy glow. for some reason, I thought the coolness of the colour would clash with my yellow undertoned skin, but it didn't. Maybe the blue counteracts the yellow? haha I have no clue, it just works. Properly buffed in, the frost is not overbearing and instead, the result is a smooth polished skin look which doesn't accentuate large pores but diffuses the light to camouflage imperfections. Just buff it in. I use both colours together and find the highlight part too pink to be a highlight. I would definitely repurchase, but since it's LE, I may not have the option.

It's a shame this didn't work for me. I loved the colour, looked the texture, loved practically everything besides the price and how it broke me out.
At least this gives me an excuse that I can't wear blushes or MSF's from Mac which would save me a lot of money.
Returning it ASAP.

love rock is the prettiest barbie blush I have ever seen..
owning earth to earth and light over dark, I knew I needed to pick up love rock, its the pinky one of the collec. moon river is more of a highlighter and not dark enuf to be a blush, grand duo is a raspberry pink with gold/bronze swirls..but love rock is a to the point blue based pink with purple swirls..
when I went to pick this up, there was only three left..one marb side was all mixed with no veins, one marb had lots of pink veins [same as the mono side] and the last one had silver and lots of purple/lavender veining..
if you kno me or read my reviews, u kno im obsessed with lavender face products..ex:
-perfect topping
-earth to earth
-circa plum pigment [used as blush]
-lightly lilac loose beauty powder
when I got it home, I tested the marb side as a highlighter on my cheeks, and its fabulousss! and the pink side for blush, its the sexiest blush on me..my bf agree's :)
if your looking for a blush like tippy with shimmer..go for love rock, or if u just want a pretty pink blush to give u a dewy glow..this is the best one for that.
and because its blue based, it works for warm and cool girls which is a plus..
I wish these duo's were perm because I know I will want to replace all of mine when there gone..but as u kno..all of mac's LE products are thee best!
the nice thing about the duo's is that there not too sparkly..there are color ranges for very fair to very dark..and yet a fair girl could wear them all..there not too intense, all u need is a skunk brush and u can apply as lightly as u like.
love rock will be a fav of mine, I don't think ill find a blue/purple pink blush with shimmer like it again. I truly think it looks amazing on olive girls with a nice tan, the brown skin and blue look sexy and young.
overall I 'love' love rock and will be looking for dupes for it cus I never want to run out. I suggest to anyone who likes pink, or just wants something new in there collec. it won't be around long so pick one up girlies!!

This is a terrific blush. I think the quality is outstanding. This is the blush for you if you like shimmer. I am very glad I made this purchase! My only problem with the Mineralize Blush duo's is that that are about 4 more dollars than Mac's regular blushes, and they have about half the amount of product. 3.2 grams compared to a regular mac blush with 6 grams. Mac... you guys are wrong for that one!

This is a really lovely, shimmery bright pink. I am a sucker for bright cool pink so I knew I have to pick this up.
I found that the texture of the blushes from the grand duos collection is quite different than the normal mineralize blushes. It's much easier to pick up pigment on your brush with these new blushes. So it's easier to overdo. So instead of using my much-loved MAC 116, I have started to use the 188 for applying these blushes.
The colour on the skin is surprisingly wearable. It's bright, but not too cool that it starts to look weird (like MAC Sweetness was for me). Having said that, you still need to be careful how you apply this, since the pigment comes off really easily, you can start to look a little too shimmery if you're not careful.
Overall, I really like this blush. It's a very pretty colour on my skin. I thought the price was a little high considering how little product you get, but it is, nonetheless, a very fun product.

This is a beautiful frosty pink. The only part I hate is that it's TOO frosty, just doesn't look right on me. Other than that, the color itself is a pale baby pink. I use the highlighter on the top of my cheeks and gives a gorgeous glow. Even though it's limited edition, I'd rather get something else.

Ooooooo I love this product, love love love it :o) I
The colour is beautiful and for me it's just right in getting the colour vs shimmer. Some products are just too shimmery and look cheap and tacky, whereas this just gives your cheekbones the emphasis they need.
The Two blocks of colours, one mixed shades of pink and cream, and one pink shimmer, are great, you choose what finish you want either by using them individually or mixing them together.
I have blonde hair and blue grey eyes with light / medium skintone and I would absolutely 100% buy this blush again, it's gorgeous.
