I bought this because it was on sale and sure glad I did. I haven't seen it in any of my local drugstores since, though. I love it. My skin is VERY fair and this give me really nice, light coverage with a bit of moisture. Perfect coloring for me. No complaints at all.

I bought this when my local Walgreens put it on clearance over the summer. I use mineral makeup usually, but my mineral foundation was too light for my summer tanned face, so I wanted to get something to tide me over until I am my usual light-medium toned self. The cashier in the makeup section in Walgreens is hispanic and I am Indian so I thought I would just use the shade she thought she would use. She told me the dark looked closer to my skin color than the medium, and so I bought that. I tried it out and it was way too dark and orangey for me. I decided to mix it in the palm of my hand with my mineral foundation and it turned out better. I then emptied out my Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse jar which I hadn't used in over 2 years and put it through a dishwashing cycle to really sanitize it and used it to mix together my own liquid foundation of this stuff with mineral powder foundation and spritzes of Burt's Bees face spritzer to make it more liquid. I used my Studio Tools skunk brush from Target to stipple it on and it was perfect! I was so sad when I used the last of my mixture because it was the perfect shade for me, but now my skin is back to my normal color and I can use the mineral powder alone again. Anyway, I liked that this protected me from the sun, but I didn't like the sunscreen smell it had. It was to my knowlege being discontinued, but even if it weren't I wouldn't buy it in dark again.

I like this TM quite a bit. I know others have claimed it to be a bit orangey, but I currently use the light tones one and since I am Asian my natural undertone is yellow so this balances it out. My face is paler looking than my neck and the rest of my body probably due to exfoliation and sunscreen use on my face so the slight yellowness of this evens it all out to match the rest of my body. Coverage is more of a light foundation and I find it does even things out well and leaves a dewy finish. Relatively long-lasting, inexpensive, and comes with SPF although I don't trust this SPF by itself. I have already purchased a back up. Also, no breakouts because of this.

This is excellent for what it is: an inexpensive drugstore tinted moisturizer. It's actually more of a light foundation, but whatever. I don't even count the sunscreen it claims it has as it's not nearly enough to be effective for me The product is thick and smooth and a little goes a long way. It doesn't break me out, look pink on me, or make me itchy or anything bad. I should wear it more often because the results are very nice. However, between being lazy and having clear skin, I don't see a need. I'd repurchase if I ever use up the whole tube. It doesn't seem I ever will, though, as the tube is generously sized.

I was excited to try this TM after reading the positive reviews on here, but unfortunately this product did not work out for me. I received the lightest color (for fair, pink and porcelain skin) in a swap and tested it once on my face. The texture was almost that of regular foundation - pretty thick coverage for a TM. The color was close enough to my skin tone (although maybe a bit more pink) that it looked ok on me. But it did make me break out in a matter of hours, which often happens when I wear liquid foundation. My skin is really sensitive and prone to break outs, and mineral foundation seems to be the best option for me. One lippie added for the sunscreen and natural ingredients - good to see d/s brands going green.

I wanted to love this so badly, but alas it is not to be. Texture-wise, I would say this is medium coverage. It applies smoothly, does not look dry, there is no smell to it that I can detect, and it wore well through a warm day. I got the lightest shade for fair tones after reading that the undertones are more on the warm side, which I have. It is warmer-toned alright, and sadly, a bit too dark for me. (and I do not wear the lightest shades of foundation normally). At the end of the day, it looked orange on me. If the color selection were expanded and improved on, I would go back to this in a heartbeat, but it just doesn't work for me like this.
I will put this one up for swap for someone who loves it.

I chose the light medium shade but it made me look like a oompa loompa. So I returned it and got the fair shade but I still find that it has a slight orange-ish hue. I like that it's light, has spf 30, doesn't make me oilier, and it's easy to blend.

I wanted to like this product so bad but after my second use, I realized that it was making my face turn orange. I gave it one lippie mostly because the consistency was very nice.
I chose the Fair shade and it was about $10 at Zellers.

I am a bit of tinted moisturizer junkie, and I gotta say this stuff is one of the best I have tried, both drugstore and high end. I am using the Medium Tones shade, and it's an absolute perfect match for my normally fair, but now summer tanned skin. I also love Jane's other Nearly Foundation Tinted Moisturizer (I use in Deep), and looking at the ingredients the only diff. I see is that this one has no parabens and offers a bit more coverage. I don't use any moisturizer underneath since I am super oily, and with this, I don't need to. It's easy to blend and looks fab without primer or moisturizer underneath! Usually, I stay away from chemical SPF's because they make me greasy and break out, but low and behold, I stay matte longer with this stuff than with full fledged foundation AND my skin has completely cleared up! Amazing! I set it with Jane's Oil Free pressed powder and it looks flawless, yet totally natural. The packaging is really pretty too! Perfect for summer, I love it!!!

I just love this product! This tinted moisturizer has very good coverage and goes on smooth. It comes in only a few shades but the shades they have worked very well for me. I have the light warm tones one and it works great for anyone with fair to medium skin tones because of it's beige undertones it blends very well. It comes in a handy little squeeze tube. That you can store anywhere. It's great if your having a active day out on the beach or the park and just want a bit of coverage to even out your skin. And it works great if your on the run because you just spread it on your face like a moisturizer and your done. I also like that it is an organic product. And it's a great deal for about $4.99 at your local CVS or any store like it. I would definitely buy it again:)

i too got this on clearance. I bought it to use as a tinted sunscreen for white water rafting. And it did pretty well! I used the fairest they had and it looked fine. BUT GUESS WHAT? This stuff works even better on your LEGS! It made my veins and mosquito bites appear lighter and gave me an all around even skin tone! It worked better than the sally hansen airbrush-leg-can. And it lasts all day too! It gave me the balls to wear a short skirt today. I went back and bought up the beige/medium and dark tones so i can fake tan my legs. It was $1.49 a tube :) Packaging is easy and sanitary. I'll be going to the other drugstores to buy up their stock as well, so you better get yours ladies :).
by the way, sweethearts, if you get a flakey face with tinted moisturizers, try using a bit of your regular moisturizer first. the tinted ones will make dry skin more obvious otherwise. ;)

I thought I had nothing to lose because this tinted moisterizer was on clearance and was so cheap. I got it in the light for beige to yellow undertones and this product is wayyyyy to orange for me. I only swatched it only my hand, and after I saw the horrific color, I was too afraid to put it on my face. The worst color face product I've ever (unfortunately) bought.

First of all I am a NC45 in MAC and when I saw this product's darkest tone in Dark I thought no way that will work. I read a few reviews here and bought it today. What really cought my eye about this product is that it has an SPF30 which is hard to find for the cost ans in my colour. At first I used a sponge to apply over my moisturizer and I thought it did nothing. But I gave it a chance to sink into my skin. I used my concealer on my dark spots and under eyes and applied a light dusting of bronzer. I must say it looked almost flawless dewy without looking greasy because I do tend to get oily. It feels very light.

I've used this on the weekeds, when I just need a sunscreen, moisturizer, and light coverage at the same time. This is by far the best DS tinted moisturizer, eco friendly, functional. It says it suppose to help protect and improve/anti-aging benefits but I think its the sunscreen providing the benefits. The moisturizing is good too. It drys matte and not sticky or shiny. The only smell it gives off of sunscreen. It has cones so it goes on very smooth. The #1 Fair shade is ivory pink. The #2 Light Warm Tone is yellow toned but has a slight orange cast comparable to NC30. The #3 warm tone is a tanned beige good if you want a hint of bronze color along with coverage. The dark tone#4 is really good warm deep mahogany. Well done Jane.

I love this tinted moisturizer. Before I was using Principal Secret, but not really loving the tint in the moisturizer. It really did nothing, but the moisturizer part is great. This has better coverage and is a good moisturizer, although in the winter I did use a small amount of my own moisturizer under it.
I lucked up with the color selection as Dark works perfectly on my skin tone. I find it to be very versatile in that I can apply it sparingly with my own moisturizer and get a nice toned glow to my complexion or I can apply it a bit heavier for more coverage and top with a bit of minerals. I haven't worn foundation since I purchased it which frankly I enjoy. Instead, I've been working on keeping my skin in top shape with scrubs, masks, glycolic acid pads, etc.
Sometimes I think people want too much from a tinted moisturizer. It's not supposed to be foundation. If you want to look made up, put foundation on. And if the color isn't light enough, mix it with your moisturizer and finish off with a bit of powder to set. Or mix it with a bit of your regular foundation. This thins your foundation to give your face a more natural look, not made. The key is to experiment. And this is a great inexpensive tinted moisturizer to do that. Also, tinted moisturizers should be treated like your regular moisturizer and applied to damp skin. It goes on much better. It all depends on what I'm aiming for. If I'm just dashing out for a quick errand but don't want to be completely washed out with my naked skin, I mix a small amout of this with my Lumene Skin Perfector on damp fingers, then mist my face and apply. I groom my eyebrows, give my eyelid the softest touch of liner and my skin looks like it's naturally vibrant. And I don't have a lot of stuff on my face and don't look like a washed out hag.
I like this and hope they don't discontinue it. It's cheap enough that it's not a budget breaker if it doesn't work.

As the others have mentioned the shades in this are not the greatest if you are in the light-to-medium NC20-ish range like me. The lighest one is too pink, the next one up is too orange. I took a shot hoping the light warm toned one would be more sheer upon application. Sadly, it was not. In natural light it's orange, and as some have indicated, more so in some spots that others. What I found even weirder is that under flourescent lights it looks good, and I actually got compliments on how healthy and great my skin looked with this. Color aside, it has nice coverage, is light in texture and made my pores look smaller and skin look smoother. However, because I doubt I will ever get that shade of (fake) tan to be able to wear it, I may have to see if I can return it.

I bought this because it was on clearance at Walgreens (I got it really cheap!) and I am really surprised with how well it works for me. It blends nicely, feels light, and it doesn't streak. I still use my face moisturizer with SPF before I apply this because I use this as more of a foundation than a tinted moisturizer. I apply it with a sponge and it works great! Since my skin as cleared up I have been trying tinted moisturizers instead of foundation...and this is the best one that I have found so far.

i didnt like this product. it was extremely hard to blend, and accentuated all my dry flakies. also, wearing this under foundation... worst idea ever. it made my makeup completely cake. the color also made me look a bit orangey. i got the pale version, just for reference. there are better tinted moisturizers out there girlies ..and this one is not one of them!

I am so surprised by this product! the darkest color blended well into my skin (MAC NC45, Smashbox Dark 1, Maybelline Mineral Wear Liquid Foundation Dark 0), and I love that it has SPF 30. I am still afraid of breaking out, so I put Neutrogena calming acne treatment underneath, and maybe primer as well. I set with Makeup Forever HD powder or Black Opal Invisible blot powder on my t-zone and I look like I just have naturally pretty skin! So far I am loving it. As with most sunscreens, if it gets in your eyes, it will BURN! So I wouldn't work out with this on. But for a quick trip to the store when you don't want to wear makeup but still want to look polished, or for work, it is great. Love it!
