FINALLY. An actually waterproof mascara that gives curl, color, and volume to my wimpy blonde lashes. It doesn't irritate my eyes or flake off and bother my RGP contact lenses, either. Surprisingly, I thought the oversize brush was terrific. I can put on 3 or 4 coats and it never clumps or looks icky and it stays soft. To me, this mascara was worth the hype and the $23 price tag. To remove it, I use Almay oil-free eye makeup remover pads or MAC remover wipes, and it comes off just fine.

I am absolutely upset with this. I like diorshow, I've had several tubes of it. Now I decided to try the waterproof version, since I sweat and tear a lot. I was highly disapointed! This smudged worse than the regular diorshow. I cried a little during the day and it was a little humid. When I came home I had to immediately remove it because I could not stand to see myself with dark, football player like, black circles under my eyes. Will not buy again.

I found DiorShow to be a mediocre mascara. I find DiorShow to be like an overpriced version of Maybelline's Great Lash. I have sensitive eyes, and both mascaras make my eyes itch and burn (not badly, but notably, and uncomfortably), leave my lashes feeling the same (sticky), and looking the same, too.. which is not magnificent. DiorShow did not make my eyelashes pop, it did not make them dramatic. It's just a regular old mascara with a very large brush head. Very disappointed. Still on the search for the perfect mascara..

I liked this mascara, I am a fan of Benefit's BadGal Lash, but needed something that was waterproof. This mascara, to me, is very similar to BadGal Lash, but waterproof. Its got a real fat brush, so if that scares you, then steer clear of this. Because of the brush, you have to apply precisely in order to avoid getting it on your eyelid or brow bone. It is also one of the more difficult mascaras to take off, I use Neutrogena oil-Free remover, which does a pretty good job, but sometimes I wake up in the morning and see some residual smearing under my eyes. Overall, though I really like this mascara, it gives a great dramatic eye, and if you apply more than one coat, you get a real nice false eyelash effect that doesn't look crazy and spidery.

Don't waste your money on this. I had the plain Diorshow that was not Waterproof, and it didn't stay at all. I had black mascara under my eyes! So I bought the Waterproof thinking it would be better, and it wasn't. It was very expensive, and I was horribly disappointed! :(

It takes some time to get the hang of the huge brush, but when you can control it, it's the best! My thin lashes transforms and get soo long, thick and pretty! I bought the waterproof version so that it doesn't smudge. Love this mascara.

I expected a lot out of this mascara. My lashes are quite sparse & a bit short without any curl whatsoever. Overall it did not dissapoint in terms of volume, lengthening & curl. Sure the brush is too big & chances are it will smudge on your lids when applying but it can be fixed with a swipe of the cotton bud! I used it on top of my Shiseido curler & mascara base but it still looks good on its on. I have yet to find my HG mascara which gives ample volume. Would i buy it again? NO. As good as the mascara is(waterproof) it gives me panda eyes at the end of the day maybe due to my oily skin.

Excellent - exquisite product. Regular Diorshow in Azzure Blue is my HG, since I adore the false lash effect and the bright blue colour, but I bought this for summer (also in Blue), since I have been using waterproof mascaras during summer for years (mainly YSL). The consistency is more watery than the regular Diorshow (as in all WP mascaras) and dries a bit slower, so I just wait for the 1st coat to be almost dry and then put 2nd (sometimes even 3rd) coat. It really gives the false lash effect and lasts on eyes. And lasts lol. I have thin, medium long lashes of pretty poor quality and usually mascaras make them fall out. Not this one. This thing is great!

Agree with the positive reviews but here is my question to MUA members: how do you get this waterproof stuff off?? I tried three different eye make up removers: nivea, simple and clarins but it takes too much rubbing to get half of the stuff off. i use two layers. any tips would be gratefully appreciated!!

While I adore the regular non-waterproof Diorshow, this mascara was very disappointing:( I just wanted a wp version of the regular, but this stuff gave me raccoon eyes (difficult to remove at that!) the three times that I wore it. If I'd just saved the box, I'd be returning it to Sephora (something I am loathe to do). Will not repurchase.

LOVE this! I had been having a hard time finding a good waterproof mascara that doesn't suck. My previous favorite was Benefit BadGal, but now that's summer on the gulf coast, trying to wear non-waterproof is just a joke - raccoon eyes in under a minute flat! I can't wear most drugstore mascaras because either they're scented and make my eyes water or are drying and make my lashes brittle... no problems with this. I love the large brush. I had no issues with clumping. Just nice long lush lashes with a couple of swipes. :) I would definitely buy again.

I don't know if I am convinced that this mascara is worth the cost. Prior to purchasing this I used borjour's pump of the volume waterproof (which I loved). This mascara goes on nicely with no clumps. I find that it gives my short straight lashes and natural look after applying one or two coats. But any more than that my lashes don't look all that luxurious as you would expect after using dior show. I probably won't by this again, because it's pretty pricy for me. And I almost never want to use it because I feel like i should only save it for special occassions.
As far as smuding goes, it does not smudge that bad, but I still get a faint smudge of mascara under my bottom lashes (Even when I only apply on top) after a few hours.
I have to update about the smudging. I can wear this w/o eyeliner and have no smudges what so ever. So, the smudging was NOT due to this mascara

This mascara is the biggest disappointment and I can't believe that anyone has had good results. I am a huge fan of the regular (non- waterproof) Diorshow so I just assumed that the waterproof version would be the same but not smudge or come off in the water.
Well it's not the same at all. The brush actually seems bigger & bulkier and is impossible to apply even with my big eyes looking down. It made my lashes droop instead of giving them curl, and it didn't lengthen or thicken. The mascara clumped together and yes, it did smudge after only an hour of wearing it.
This mascara should never have been put on the shelves and Dior should remove it if they want to keep their fine reputation until they re-work the formula. Don't waste your money....it's a rubbish product with a very expensive price tag!

After all the rave reviews for Diorshow, I have decided to give it a go. Clinique high impact was the only one i ever tried without caking on me before Diorshow. Unfortunately high impact is not waterproof and my eyes tend to go panda in the afternoon.
Diorshow is better than high impact because of the waterproof feature. It does not cake on me and it does lenghten and thickens my lashes, I have short and sparse lashes and all the drug store mascara i tried turned me into spider eyes.
The only thing about dior show i dont really like is the fat brush. This is because i have small set of eyes and with my teeny weeny lashes, it does take a bit of practice to get use to the fat brush. But its well worth it because the effect is sensational.
ETA: not using this anymore, I found clarin's mascara fix is a super waterproof seal, i can practically wear anything i like, without worrying whether its waterproof or not.

A very expensive new staple in my collection. I bought this in chestnut, and it is absolutely the best mascara I've ever owned. Very buildable, holds a curl, great color, doesn't clup... I'm never going back to Voluminous, sorry.

i LOOOOOVE this mascara. this is my HG. My lashes look beautiful when i use it. I've used others and they just don't compare to how beautiful my lashes look with Diorshow wp.
I will always have this in my makeup bag.

kinda disppointing because it couldnt hold my curl very well and i paid so much for it! the brush is also impossible to use. its way too big! it messes up to upper lid makeup. pros: 1. does volumize 2. does lengthen a bit 3. doesnt clump. i'll have to way till the end of the day to see if it smudges, but i'll return it anyway cuz it isnt worth the money.

Loved my normal Diorshow, but it ended up under my eyes after a workout at the gym. I decided to try the waterproof version, despite the poorer reviews here -- my lashes needed help! I've discovered that this version isn't as thickening as the normal Diorshow, but I'm still pleased with the results -- longer and slightly thicker looking lashes... DEFINATELY much better than the cheaper brands of waterproof mascara I tried! Nor does this mascara budge -- workout, steam rooms, tears, make-up remover... if anyone finds something to get this off easily, please let me know! I'm wearing it every day and loving it anyway!

I'm not really sold on this mascara. I've been looking for a replacement for my dc'd HG mascara, Maybelline Illegal Lengths (and I felt so lucky that a DS item was HG), and the MA at Nordstrom rec'd this to me. I need a super lenghtening WP mascara because of really oily lids, 16 hour workdays, and stick straight tiny asian lashes. A lot of ladies here seem to really like this, so I figured I would give this a go. First impression was not terribly favorable - the HUGE brush is rediculous to use and does not lend itself to terribly precise application. In fact, unless you are very careful and build slowly, you'll end up with mascara smudged all over your upper lid. I tired this for a while, and found that the results are mediocre at best - there's some lengthening and definition, but really nothing spectacular. Additionally, like many of the previous reviewers, after a few hours, it smudged under my eyes something fierce. However, I do give it props for being able to sleep in it - whenever I took a short nap in it, it didn't clump up, straighten out, or dissappear. Did not expereience the weird smell that others have discovered, nor did my tube seem particularly watery or runny. Held curl fairly well and left my lashes soft, but I tend to prefer a stiffer mascara that will lock in curl. Overall, it's okay, there are much cheaper mascaras out there that outperform this one. $26 at Nordstrom.

I wasn't wowed by this the first few times I used it. But eventually I grew to adore it. I switched from my HG Lancome Definicils Waterproof to the DiorShow Waterproof because I grew to love the DiorShow and now I can't imagine not owning it. I have never experienced any flaking and I ♥ the huge brush! It doesn't smear and it does a wonderful job of lengthening & thickening with just a few coats. It lasts through long workouts and long mid-day naps. DiorShow Waterproof is now a much loved staple for me & I'll continue to repurchase it again & again.
