I bought the Metallic Olive one because I really wanted something different from the usual eyeliner color. this eyeliner is amazing! the color is beautiful and really flattering on hazel eyes, it stays on, doesn't smudge or fade. I apply it with the brush in the box and it's really good. I also use it on the lower lash line and it just lasts and feels comfortable on my eyes. I will definetly buy more of these, at least black, brown and purple. I never tried high-end cream eyeliner but I don't think I need to do it as I love love love the result with these.

I got this delivered to me yesterday in black and couldn't wait to try! I put this on today with the free little brush (very good) and i am very impressed. I lined my upper lash line and it has not budged at all!! I even tried rubbing it slightly to see how smudge and budge resistant it is and nothing moves!!!!! Result! For £3.50 there is nothing bad to say about this. I think i will be repurchasing in other colours now!!!!

I've already written some reviews of specific colours that I have, so now I'm only going to comment upon some other reviewers' experiences. I mean I didn't experience any difficulty removing the product. I applied a generous amount on my eyelid , just to try out the possibilities and effects and then simply washed my face with Garnier facial gel and to my surprise it was gone. I had expected a longer battle:).

Meh. I wanted to like it, but it didn't perform. It's not as easy to apply as some people suggested, you definitely need to know how to use an eyeliner brush well. I don't like how hard this is to remove, for me it smears and feels waxy even after using remover.

I have this in Ivory. Though it is not useful as a cream eyeliner, I use it as a base for the inner corner around the tearduct for that eyewidening look & set with an eyeshadow the same color. I probably wouldn't repurchase the same color since I'm sure there are better bases. Overall, it's not a terrible product. I'd probably purchase a different color.

I have these in midnight, plum purple, coffee, ivory, and a black one that I ended up giving away. They are all really creamy except for ivory (which I was most excited for, bummer). They do apply darker than they look, but I like them, A LOT! They also last all day, when I first got my second order I swatched midnight and plum purple and had to scrub them off, should've been smart and used my baby oil, but I totally forgot lol. I like to set it with a shadow of the same shade though because when they dry on my lid it seems too look a bit dull. Ivory is such a waste! It's the only one that's super dry and pretty much useless, I bought it to line my waterline and as a base for eyeliner as a saw one reviewer on the eyeslipsface website had mentioned but it just doesn't want to show up and when I tried using it as a base all you can see was the glitter chunks! Ugh, so stay clear of ivory, but do try the other shades, I adore them and they make great bases as well. Oh, and I ended up giving my black one away to a friend because it seemed to have dried up so fast considering I bought coffee at the same time and that one was still creamy, but I think it was because I left the lid off too often and too long, my friend tried it and thought it worked great so I told her if she wanted she could keep it. Great product for a great price. Recommended.

I am blown away by how brilliant this eyeliner this. For £3.50 I was not expecting much. It glides on easily, and is smooth and creamy. It stays put all day, and was difficult to remove, even with an oil-based cleanser. Brilliant.

2nd update: Useless, and does not last longer than a couple of weeks. Just landfill. What a shame.
Love this eyeliner. But do I think they could do it in better packaging? How about refills? So much plastic going into the waste dumps. Do you really want to contribute to the island on the Pacific made of waste? Thought not. Write to your favorite cosmetics company and tell them that you do not care to contribute to the toxic dump. This is pitiful.
The stuff dries out so quickly. Please look at You Tube--there are a few people who have suggested ways that you can rehydrate this product.
UPDATE: I haven't used this product in ages because NYX shadow is just too good at becoming eyeliner. I NEVER use this. It has become trash.

I have this eyeliner in four colors: Coffee, Copper, Purple, and Midnight. I find all of them to go on much darker than you would expect from looking at the product in the pot or the online swatches. Coffee and Copper both look like a black-brown on me and are indistinguishable; Purple is a very dark black-grey with just a hint of purple tone; and Midnight is a very dark black-grey with just a hint of blue tone. Not the pretty medium brown, shimmery copper, plum purple, and navy you would expect! I assume that Purple and Copper are also supposed to be shimmery due to the metallic sparkle icons photoshopped over the swatch on the ELF website (and Copper does look shimmery in the jar), but I didn't see any noticeable sparkle or shimmer when I applied them.
I found that most of the liners were a bit dry on the top when I first opened the jar, but once you get past the top layer it's creamy and easy to apply. I have only used them with UDPP and they lasts all day with that. The included angle brush is a surprisingly good quality for the price; however, I prefer to apply gel liners with a thin round eyeliner brush. The jar is also much bigger than it needs to be to store the amount of product, so that may be a con if you have limited makeup storage space.
Overall, these are cheap enough that they're worth a shot if you don't mind the colors going on darker than you expect, but skip them if you're looking for brighter or bolder colors!

I have always wanted to buy mac fluid line however i did not want to spend the $15 plus dollars..so when i found out the elf had came out with a cream liner i decided to give it tried. I got it in black and i use it with my sonia kashuk eyeliner brush and i absolutely love it...i doubt i will ever buy a mac or any other high end cream eyeliner.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Sensitive, Medium Hair: Brunette, Straight, Medium Eyes: Brown
I decided to give this eyeliner a shot because it was dirt cheap and I felt I had nothing to lose if it didn't work. I own both high end and less expensive, drugstore, cream eyeliner as well and found that this is actually a very good product. It hasn't smudged or creased on me yet during a full day's wear and I find that incredible. I also loved the packaging and the little angled brush it came with. It's soft enough to use on your eyes but stiff enough to get a good application. I use another brush because I'm so used to it but I wouldn't be upset if for some reason I couldn't find my usual eyeliner brush and had to use the one it came with. All in all a good buy.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brunette, Curly, Fine Eyes: Brown
This is my staple liner. I use it practically everyday (in black). It's easy to apply and doesn't budge until you decide to remove it- just ask good and even better than many of the higher end ones.
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Oily, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Brown
I love the brush that comes with it bit that's about it. the color seems vibrant but the formula is dry & cakey. it goes on really thick & is so hard to get out of the jar, for $3 I guess it's decent. my mom uses fluidline & swears by that, next time Im going to just switch to that

Tempted by the low price I ordered Irovy, Black, and Coffee. Black and Coffee are less than average in texture and staying power but Black has a nice color pay off. Ivory is completely useless as an eyeliner. I tried using it as a highlighter and the glitter looked chunky and cheap. Good quality cream or gel liners are definitely worth the price. I would recommend MAC or Bobbi Brown.

These liners rock! I have almost all the shades: midnight, metallic olive, gunmetal, ivory, coffee, &copper. I love them all. I dont think theyre all 'creamy' as they are soft. Some are creamier than others. I love them all and def worth $3. I wish they had the black in stock but they didnt. I will get it when they do. The plastic jar with a snapping twist cap lid is so cute and it helps to prevent me from not putting the lid on wrong or not shut properly so the liner dont dry out. I think all look great as liners and all double as great bases too. They look great alone with a neutral/light shadow or as a liner with any look. The pigmentation is superb and staying power is unbelievable. So much so that i got to remove with my olive oil at the end of the day, no problem bc i have been having watery eyes recently and no liners will stay that long except these (and wet n wild cream liners-thats why getting the black or purple isnt a must right now bc i got the black and purple which are creamier and i must admit now better) they all came with a mini size studio small angled liner brush. With synthetic fibers it makes application so easy. I like the mini sized bc it wont hit the mirror and its stiff cut yet flexible enough to make my line without pulling my skin or lashes out. ELF DONT DISAPPOINT WITH THESE LINERS! Im telling you theyre all great as liners or a cheap great base. As a liner you get a great color payoff and its easy to line with the texture of these making it so easy to line tight on the lash/water lines. As bases, your shadows will pop and stay put. Try em all. Great everything with these!
*update: i know these are dry, what i found helps is spraying/mixing the liner with fix plus or i used my homemade mixing medium and a teeny bit of silicon based face primer. I used a few drops to each liner and mixed up well can add as much as u need to get it creamy! It works like a charm! I loved these b4 and now i luv em more bc theyre so much easier 2 use! If u have any questions please ask b4 u throw these away! enkoremakeup on youtube just recently posted a tutorial on how 2 save a dried up cream liner & i promise it works esp 4 these bc theyre a bit to had for my likng so i use his recipe & bam! better than ever!
*update- since coming up with my recipe i use my Ivory shade alot as a cream base rather than a liner but it also makes a great liner on my lower lash line to open my eyes up. but i have to say my two favorites are of course the Black one, its so super pigmented & smooth & defines my upper lash line making my lashes look amazing! and Metallic Olive is also my other fav. its sooo super gorgeous! its a darkened olive brown that is perfect as an alternative to a black or brown. wow! i love it as a liner & as a cream base.. you just got to work fast or as i suggest mixing it up to make it a bit more smoother to use as base. so im def going to repurchase these, most of all the shades if i ever get thru them bc i like that you get enough product to last u quite some time but not too much that you will never get thru it fast enough before it dries out. either way i know how i can save em now so im hooked! if ur having fading problems or if they smudge easily, id suggest priming your lids (elf makes great cheap primers that work) and also topping with a powdered shadow or even a setting face powder. that way it will soak up the extra oils from the liner itself as well as from your lids.

Aside from the fact that it makes my eyeliner brush hard as a rock (so I have to wash it almost everyday), this is a winner. If you don't like the eyeliner, just love the cute packaging.

After using liquid eyeliners for years I only purchased this to see how I'd enjoy using a cream liner and ended up pleasantly surprised. Having not used any other gel/cream liner I don't have anything to compare it to, but on using ELFs I can say it's wonderful for it's price! Creamy and fairly pigmented, it lasted all day for me. You do get what you pay for and I only gave it four lippies due to it's pigmentation but it's not the worst thing I've ever tried.

Love the creamy consistency, and I find the brush to work very well. This is my new go-to liner, far better than HIP. The black is very bold, the olive looks brown in the pot but still has greenish hues on the face, a good compliment to an olive green shadow. The purple is muted, very nice for work if you don't want a bold black line. The midnight seems a bit sheer when swatched on my arm, but also worked well when I wanted something less bold than the black. I don't know what to do with the ivory, though, because I was expecting a matte opaque ivory, and I got a sheer opalescent color. I guess it would be good for an inner-corner highlight.

I purchased all of E.L.F.'s cream eyeliners. The price is amazingly inexpensive. The first color I used was the metallic olive. I used it as an eye shadow base. It was beautiful. Application was so easy. The color was rich and creamy. The eye shadows went on so smoothly. It was a really long day for me (14 hours). My eye shadows and liner were just like I applied it. I was amazed. During the next two weeks, I used every eyeliner that I purchased, in many different ways. It never let me down. I am so happy that I have found a product that is reasonable that actually works. If you haven't tried them, you need to. You will love them!!!!

I have this in midnight and ivory, and I have ordered the new colors elf has just released (purple, metallic olive, gunmetal and copper).
From what I have seen, this eyeliner is fabulous and comparable to L'Oréal's HIP Color Truth Cream Liner (which I LOVE). It's smooth and easy to apply with a little practice. The midnight shade is beautiful. The ivory shade is strange and I don't think it's useful for me as an eyeliner since it's more of a shimmer cream, so I'll probably be giving that away.
I am super excited to try the new colors since they are metallic with shimmer in them. I'm thrilled elf decided to expand their color options since this product is such a great value, especially when you get a 50%-75% coupon :)
