The only reason why I purchased two is because it was only 2 bucks each. I couldn't pass that deal(with a coupon). Well, it did make my lashes look long but it flaked throughout the day. I wouldn't purchase this again. If it didn't flake I would totally repurchase.

I agree with a previous reviewer, sparksflylove, when she said that she purchased this mascara primarily because of the commercials and advertisements of actress Emma Stone wearing it. I really wanted to like it because of how it made her lashes look and also because the packaging is so pretty and colorful, but nope. Not at all. The Revlon website says "Magically transform lashes to lush, long and lustrous. A potion with strengthening proteins drenches lashes for volume. Triple-groove wand combs through for clump-free length.".....um, no. I felt it made my lashes look like 'spider legs', there was not volume, and definetely no lengthening. Every time I would apply it, I had to go behind it with an eyelash comb because of clumping and feeling like my lashes were sticking together. Don't waste your money.

I got this at Walgreens for seven-something dollars in "Blackest Black."

The packaging is pretty. Cool toned colors, aqua and green with bright purple-y pink with some shiny metallic-ness. The tube is a long simple cylinder, easy to hold. The brush is straight as well with bristles instead of that plastic pointy stuff you see a lot of nowadays.

It claims to add both volume and length, but I find it doesn't do much in terms of volume. As far as length goes, it kind of makes my lashes go out instead of up - it doesn't hold a curl. I don't like to build up my mascara because it adds a raccoon look, but it doesn't dry too fast to prevent that if it is your style.

I don't like it really...it doesn't look...natural. It looks too mascara-y and in a bad way.

When I went to remove it with makeup remover wipes (I didn't have on eyeshadow) it came off very messily. It smeared all over my face, and took up most of one wipe alone. It looked like I had removed black paint from my face. I don't like the idea of this being on my lashes.

So disappointed with this product. I bought it because I loved the Emma Stone commercials, the pretty packaging and the results it promised......and I regret it. From the very first application, it is almost impossible to get any product out of the tube and it spreads unevenly on the lashes. The brush is oddly shaped as well, and the rows of bristles on the brush are uneven, therefore distributing the mascara in a very unnatural way. I will definitely not be repurchasing this.

Try Maybelline's Falsies or L'Oreal's Million Lashes. Much better results and quality. :)

I recently reviewed CG Lash Blast Clump Crusher where I used Revlon's Lash Potion as a comparison, and, again, this was somewhat of a disappointment. The formula is a bit dry so application is difficult because once you begin to sweep it onto your lashes it dries very quickly; therefore, you have to continuously redeposit your brush into the tube for more product to cover your lashes. The brush doesn't help facilitate easier application either because the bristles are soft and doesn't comb thru your lashes well enough to get a nice even distribution of product. The dryness of the formula along with the cumbersome nature of the brush just does not equal a great experience with this mascara. The dryness also causes flaking and dry, hard lashes. Of course the packaging is amazing which is what suckered me into purchasing this product. Although, I'd read some mediocre reviews and watched a few YT vidz I somehow hoped that my experience would be different. Regrettably it wasn't...I really had high hopes for this mascara...how can the packaging be so lovely and the product not measure up? But it didn't...so I guess it'll just fall into obscurity along with the many other makeup disappointments of late. If u want to try it for yourself, then feel free to do so, but I'd advise u not to waste your money.

The brush for this mascara is bulky and scratchy, not clean or easy to apply at all. As far as I can tell, it does nothing for lash growth either. Definitely would not buy again as there are many other, better mascaras out there.

I fell victim to the pretty packaging on the tube, and bought this to try a new mascara. I normally use Loreal Voluminous mascara and should have trusted my HG on this one. I can't say the mascara itself is much different than any other, but the dang brush is so big, it's gets mascara all over my eyelids and under my eyes also. Such a mess! I will be continuing my love affair with Voluminous and won't stray again.

I love this mascara! It lengthens and volumizes my lashes! My lashes are of medium height and thickness and this mascara makes them look false. I heard alot of people dont like this however. I have the waterproof formula and I'm not sure if thats the reason. But I love it! Stays on all day and never flakes! If you're not sure.. Give it a try! I got a coupon for $2 off it and bought it for $3! Bargain!

This stuff is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. ❗❗❗❗ Seriously it's fantastic. Unfortunately, my eyelashes are very basic. They're thin and short and pathetic. This stuff increases my volume by 90 %.. I SWEAR this stuff works magic!! I can see why they call it potion! It's amazing. With this, my lashes look longer, fuller and more defined. I love love love the brush. It's full and thick and makes sure that you get the best coverage that you can. Don't even get me started on the PACKAGING. That packaging is one of the main reasons I bought this stuff.. It's so beautiful. I'm going to need to take this with me every where that I go because its fantastic !! It works so good! 5 lippies for me! 😊
