Wow this is awesome!! I got it for $5.29 at Meijer's. I swatched it on the back of my hand first, and it felt pretty smooth and creamy. Very pigmented. Very easy to draw a line with minimal effort and barely pressing down. A deep dark matte black (actually it's not metallic at all like the package makes you think it would be, but that's fine). I waited a minute or so then tried to smudge the line on my hand, but it's not going anywhere!! Seriously, it didn't budge, even when I pressed hard and rubbed on it. Same deal when I use it on my eye - it doesn't budge all day long. I always use primer underneath (UDPP Eden) so I can't vouch for how it works without a primer, but this really stays put. Of course, the only drawback to this is if you are actually wanting to smudge the line - you gotta act real fast! Cause after a few seconds, it dries and you're not gonna get anywhere with it. I think this eyeliner pencil is a really great d/s find. Definitely worth checking out, and I'm gonna go back and get the ones in gold and brown (I really do wish they had more colors, get back in the lab, Milani!!)

Possibly my HG pencil eyeliner! This is very creamy and easily applied. It's also very easy to smoke out too. This can do both a nice clean line or a nice smudgey look. However to smudge it you have to work fast before it sets, and if you want to do a nice cleane line, let it set for about 15 seconds before you blink. It doesn't tug or pull when you apply and the color is a very deep black. However, the color is not as deep as L'Oreal's Extra-Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner. Compared to L'oreal's eyeliner, this one seems more of a dull matte black, which is ironic since it's a "metallic eye liner pencil". But other than that I love this eyeliner. The staying power is amazing in Texas weather and there's no smudging on my lids and waterline. And I've been using this without a primer! This is the type of eyeliner I will repurchase over and over again.

I may have found my perfect pencil eyeliner. I've been searching high and low for a pencil eyeliner that won't smudge all over my oily lids after an hour or two. This eyeliner has been compared to the infamous Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner, but Milani is definitely the winner in my book. Even with primer and set with black eyeshadow, UD doesn't stay on my oily eyelids.
This eyeliner is very pigmented and a true black, no green or blue. It applies very smoothly with no tugging. With UDPP under it, it lasted the entire day in a humid environment with minimal smudging, which is a big deal for me. The only con I can see, which is the same with these creamy eyeliners, is that I can't get the very thin line I sometimes want. If I have the time, I'll use Stila's stay all day waterproof felt tip liner, but Milani liquif'eye is great for those days when I need to rush out of the house. :)

Other than family members and friends who've proven their undying love for me over the years, no one sees me without my eyeliner. NO ONE. This used to be a complicated ordeal because I wore a pencil that was so creamy it would end up migrating to various corners of my face by the end of the day and I would have to spend copious amounts of time pleading the smudges away in public bathrooms. I put up with it because the pencil was the blackest black I'd found and had the smoothest application too. Then Milani Liquif'Eye entered my life and I will never, ever look back. This is THE blackest application I've ever gotten from a pencil (and I'm Arab so you know I'm serious about my black eyeliner). It's so smooth in its application, it took a while for my hand to get the hang of drawing my usual line because I was used to pressing harder. And the part that saved my life: it lasts for hours and hours and doesn't smudge. The absolute worst it can do (after 8+ hours) is fade a little. And I say all this as someone who lines her bottom lashline--the biggest invitation for smudging ever. Love it more than anything else in my makeup bag. (A tip: this eyeliner is so creamy it needs a little bit to 'hold' itself back together after it's been sharpened so either be careful after sharpening, or wait a while before you apply it.)

I don't generally like pencil eyeliner, but this one is a winner! It applies really smoothly, and doesn't catch (and leave blobs of eyeliner) on my eyelashes like other eyeliners do. The color is really saturated and rich - it really does look like a liquid liner. The lasting power is phenominal. It lasts all day and doesn't come off without soap and water (or eye makeup remover). I haven't tried using it on the waterline yet, but I predict it'll do just fine. This is a great liner for a great price - I'm glad I decided to try it!
UPDATE: Okay, well maybe this isn't as great as I initially thought. It does actually catch on my lashes and bits of it fall in my eyes throughout the day. I'll have to downgrade this to 4 lippies. Can't beat the staying power, though.

I liked it, but my eyes didn't. It was soft and creamy, n went on smooth, only it burned my eyes. If you have sensitive eyes I would not suggest lining your waterline. Its also very pigmented which is nice

What can I say about these pencils? They apply like a cream with the ease of a pencil and have the staying power of a gel liner. This is by far the best pencil liner I have used, high, low, mid end, whatever. It doesn't truly smudge on me (to be fair I always use UDPP under any liner) and the color is so deep and intense. That coupled up with how EASY it is to apply, which all pencils should be, and how great the staying power is constitutes that this product is a winner! My only annoyance is that they NEED MORE COLORS! I want the color selection of any popular mid-end brand's eyeshadows

I bought this liner without reading or seeing any reviews and I was prepared to be disappointed, but it really surprised me. I use this almost exclusively to tightline my eyes (I use liquid liner on my upper lid), and it's lasted longer throughout the day than any pencil liner I've ever used for this purpose, and MUCH longer than the UD 24/7 liners, which seem to disappear after just an hour or two on me. My favorite tightliner is actually Wet n' Wild's gel liner, but I don't clean my brushes daily and who has time for that hassle in the morning? Pencils and liquid are so much easier to deal with, thus my reason for purchasing this in the first place.
It is really creamy so it needs somewhat frequent sharpening. If you're having trouble sharpening this or any creamy liner, just pop it in the freezer for a few minutes so it stiffens up first.
I HAVE found that, when I do my lower waterline only, it wears off much quicker than if I do both upper and lower. But, bizarrely, it ISN'T disappearing or traveling to the corners of my eyes--it's transferring to the opposite rim. Because of this, I always line both upper and lower waterlines and it lasts most of the day.
This liner is super black and opaque and blendable. Definitely my favorite drugstore pencil eyeliner. I use this almost every day and will most likely repurchase.

This product was very creamy and glided on with no hesitation whatsoever! It smudged a bit on my left eye, but not right. Which was kind of weird, but overall i'd purchase this again!

this is the best drugstore eyeliner in town..for the price you are paying, you will get the same quality of Urban Decay eyeliners..it's very creamy, last a very long time on the waterline which is amazing,cz i have not found a single eyeliner that can stay there as long as this eyeliner can..the only con i have for this eyeliner is that you need to sharpen it..if its in an automatic form,it would've been perfect..owh well..i will repurchase for sure..=)

This is incredible and rivals those higher-end liners ie Stila for a fraction of the price. Very high quality product! The pencil does not pull on the skin on the eyelid, it just glides over it. Then you wait while it dries. Once dried it simply does not budge. You can also smudge it out before it dries for that smoky eye look, but do this quickly before the dry down. The waterline is another matter, imo. I have yet to use a liner on my waterline that will not transfer or migrate, but I wear contact lenses and have allergies, which may both be contributing factors. I am hoping Miani comes out with new shades, as MUFE did and creates a "pencil box" of colours for eyes. This is pretty amazing for the price and quality. Yay!

I bought this eyeliner because of the raves in youtube but my oh my am i disappointed? yes I am! let me first mention the pros-- highly pigmented (rich black), pretty inexpensive and it glides on smoothly (like butter baby!). cons-- I applied it on my lower lash line and I patted loose translucent powder below to seal it but after just 2 hours, I already noticed some smudging. not heavy smudging though but I don't expect it to smudge after just two hours. it didn't stay on my waterline either. oh well I guess I still have to find my HG eyeliner. I'd still find a better use for this one, I hate wasting money ya know but I would never purchase it again.

After reading the glowing reviews on MUA, I took the plunge and purchased Milani's Liquif eye in black. I was really impressed by how smooth this liner went on my upper lid and lower waterline. No tugging at all. Unfortunately, just like UD 24/7 it smudged on me big time! In fact, it seemed to make my eyes tear up even more. My lids are extremely oily so maybe that's why it didn't work for me. I really wanted to love this product but for now I'll just have to stick with my liquid liners.

This is a great, cheap alternative to Urban Decays 24/7 eyeliners. I think its awesome that there is something with this kind of quality at the drugstore now. It is the darkest black eyeliner I have ever used (for that really intense look that will make any eye color pop) and it goes on VERY smoothly. My only gripe about this is that it fades after 6-7 hours (to be expected of course) to a blue color? When I wipe it off at the end of the day, the eyeliner is blue. I also find this really hard to wipe off with my make-up remover...there are always traces of it the next day. Other than that, its a great product :)

This is the BEST black eyeliner that I have found, and I have been on a LONG search! It is the blackest black (perfect), and it applies smoothly. The staying power is beyond amazing, as this is the first liner that I have found to last all day on my waterline. I was previously using Mac Powerpoint in Engraved, but this beats it by price, color, and staying power.

I love this eyeliner! its so pigmented and it lasts for quite a while compared to others i've tried. I really just love how black this eyeliner is! I use it on my lower waterline. It does smudge a bit, but not so much. I wish it was a mechanical pencil because i hate sharpening it. I only have one sharpener that works well with this pencil. I've used another sharpener that didn't sharpen it at all! Just love how pigmented it is! I bought this at target for 5.99. I was going to try out loreals for 8.00 but i thought that was too expensive. i would definitely re-purchase this again!
if anyone is worried about the metallic part. Dont worry, i dont even see the metallic part of it.

I absolutely love this! Another great bonus is that it is paraben free, is not tested on animals and does not contain any animal by-products. This has an amazing formula; it is an opaque black and very pigmented. The pencil does not tug at all and is great for the upper lash line as well as the water line. I am very satisfied with this product and I recommend it 100 %.
