I have two of these brushes and they are completely different. Consequently, my review can only begin by noting one thing: the quality is very inconsistent.

Brush #1: I bought this brush in the summer of 2004 at the BE store in the Atlanta airport, and my love for it is true and deep. It's so soft yet firm, picks up powders and applies them like a dream, and has only gotten better and more workable over time. I reach for this brush every day, and it never lets me down.

Brush #2: I got this brush as part of my initial auto-delivery kit. It is *nothing* like Brush #1: The shape is far, far more tapered. It's tighter and less flexible, and doesn't pick up powder well at all (it "sits" on the fibres rather than going into the brush). Consequently I usually ignore it and actually am annoyed when I accidentally pick it up instead of my beloved Brush #1.

What to make of the difference? As noted, the brushes are inconsistent in quality and you may get totally different things. It's worth finding a good one, though, if you can.

The most amazing brush i have ever tried! This is the brush that makes bare minerals work. I had tried Bare minerals at first with the regular brush, foundation, and mineral veil. I didnt like it at all because though it was good that it did not make me break out with my acne prone skin. ( Yes I would agree that its pure enough to sleep in) But it didnt really cover anything. So I wewnt of it for a year until I was at a friends house and she used it on me but she used the concealer brush. It covered everything! My skin had not looked that clear since I was a child. I had to buy it. though this is kind of pricey for me it was so worth it. I would buy again if I ever need a new one. I really recomend this it gives such great coverage. I actually was on ebay to get some more foundation and by accident i ordered "everyday minerals" instead of bare minerals ( I didnt read close enough) The Everyday minerals works just as good as bare minerals and is half the price. I have the Bare Minerals brush and that is what makes the difference this is more important than the foundation.

This is a high quality concealer brush. It works perfectly with my BE Foundation to conceal the redness around my nose. I also use it with my BE Bisque to conceal my undereye area and any red blemish marks. It works like a dream when used in a tapping/slight sweeping motion, rather than a brushing motion for heavy concealing. I make sure to clean once a month with baby shampoo, as the bristles tend to accumulate alot of product and oils. It is amazing how much product accumulates in that brush! I find this brush works its best when clean.

I use this & a bit of my mineral mu in order to camouflage the redness around my nose area. It does a great job at concealing, however it won't cover darker areas.
I purchased this off e-bay at a fraction of the retail price & will repurchase as necessary. Good stuff!

I got this brush with the Complexion Perfection kit. For my purposes (covering up pimple scars until they fade) it's not so great for its intended use - to pack Bare Minerals foundation over what I'm trying to conceal. However, I use this brush with MAC Studio Finish Concealer and it works REALLY well!!! I use the brush to dab the concealer over whatever I'm trying to cover. Love this brush, I'd buy it again though I don't think I'll have to for a while since this brush is sturdy and doesn't shed.

This is the BEST brush for concealing! When I purchased the beginners kit almost two years ago, I got two Flawless Application brushes and what I thought was a concealer brush. Turns out it was an eyeshadow brush (I figured it out when I went to Sephora and saw this brush). Anyway, I purchased it at Sephora, and it is AWESOME for under my eyes and for around my nose. It really holds a lot of minerals, so make sure you tap the excess before you apply.

I use this brush to apply bisque under my eyes and over any imperfections, and really IS maximum coverage! I love it. This combination is the best concealer I've ever tried in my life. I never dreamed that a powder would conceal so well!

this brush really does work well with the BE bisque. i tried other concealer brushes with it, and it didn't hold the minerals as well as this does!

After using a large BE and kabuki brush bought in Stonestown in San Francisco, I now know it's all in the brush. I have broken capillaries on one of my cheeks and this brush makes all the difference in the world. First, it completely covers the capillaries for up to 18 hours. NO PRODUCT HAS EVER DONE THIS! Secondly, it allows me to put a light coat on the rest of my face to blend. Therefore, it hardly appears that I am wearing face makeup but for wearing blush...and I am using Sorbet, so it rarely shows at all.

Unless every part of your face is flawless, you are not getting what you can out of loose minerals without this concealer brush. And best of all, it does not shed at all. Can occasionally clean it with the excellent BE Quick Change Brush Cleaner and/or soap and water.

I wish it came with a cover or was retractable to protect such a valuable asset.

This is everything a perfect brush should be. I've washed mine quite a few times, but it still looks like the day I bought it. This brush picks up powder very well and it also works great with cream concealers. I'd definately repurchase.

This is a great brush. Mineral makeup is really very much dependent upon the brush. I used this brush to cover broken capillaries on my cheek and set the minerals with Jane Iredale D20, a WONDERFUL product that makes minerals stay on even in 90-100% humidity and heat for 8-12 hours without a touchup! I have been trying to cover these capillaries with nasty thick makeups ranging from Clinique Work Out Makeup to Estee Lauder tubes of heavy makeup, to Mac foundation in a compact. Ick! I am free at last. Can't recommend this brush enough if you have ANY imperfection in your face.

OK- this probably the ONLY BE brush that I actually like. All the other ones are pure CRAP; (their bristles scratch and make my sensitive skin itch like crazy), but this brush is a keeper...

This is a *wonderful* brush for concealing. I have yet to try the Bisques, I just use my mineral foundation for concealing as well as foundation, so theres no problems with variation of shades. The brush is dense, but pliable, not stiff, and makes covering blemishes and dark circles a dream rather than a nightmare. I'm very pleased with it.

for me, this is one of those 'extra' brushes that i never really thought i needed. now that i have it, i wonder how i ever got on without it. i dont use BE foundation, but i do use mac studio fix pressed powder foundation.
i wet my brush a bit, sweep it over the studio fix, and even it out on the brush by sweeping it on the back of my hand. the size of the head fits well in my under eye area. i also use it for extra coverage on blemishes. its not as exact as id like for this task, but with a bit of blending, it works out fine.
this brush has synthetic bristles for all of you veggies out there. it also works well with creamy products, and the plastic bristles dont absorb the product. the bristles are anchored firmly into the ferrule, and they dont shed. its easy to wash.

Where has this brush been all my life? I didn't get this brush until I'd been using BE for a few months, but I'm definitely glad that I bought it. I love to use this for covering up my undereye circles. It's also good for spot-concealing. I would definitely recommend this brush for touch ups.

I really like this for spot touch ups, but it seems to get dirty a lot quicker than the other brushes I have. Otherwise nice, it just needs to be cleaned more often. Gives great coverage overall.

The BE maximum coverage concealer brush is made from taklon. The taklon bristles are slightly longer and wider than standard taklon concealer brush from other lines but i find that better for minerals. Since it isnt as stiff you get a more even look with minerals yet the brush is dense enough that you still get more coverage than using a natural fiber brush. The brush is well made and doesnt shed. Nice product to apply mineral concealers with. Retails for $20.
