I am thinking about buying a larger size of this perfume. I got the purse size and I do like it. It smells delicate, slightly sweet but not overly sweet. Has a bit of a powdery smell but that is quite subtle and then a clean, soapy type smell. I suppose its a slightly more mature scent but I like it (Im 30)

Love love love this scent. The staying power is great on me which says alot. It doesn't last ALL day like Rare Gold but for sure it is one of the best fragrences Avon has made in a long time. I feel very powerfully feminine when I wear this perfume.

I have a purse spray, but I will get rid of it. Smells NOTHING like Dior Poison, because I own Poison (I've read that people have compared this to Poison). This turns a bit rancid smelling on my skin...not pleasant at all.

I love this fragrance from AVON.This is definitely for someone who has a strong personality,not for a shy violet ;0)
I got this for about $10.00 from my Avon lady,and at that price I would get it again.Not the best for summer,but more for fall and winter.

This perfume is very heavy and I do not like the smell at all.The smell is completely different of the one in the brochure.This brochures are often very misleading.But it was not a complete waste of money I gave it to my mum and she likes it.

I love, love, love this perfume. It smells so pretty. I get compliments constantly when wearing it. It makes me feel like a southern belle when I wear it. It is fairly strong so not for the faint of heart but for those who like leaving a signature scent in their wake, it's amazing. And it's super cheap!

I cant exactly describe the scent of this product, but yes, its this lovely tingly scent that makes u wanna sniff it all the time. I'd definitely repurchase.

I bought this unsniffed because magnolia is listed as one of the stars in this, but where is it? I don't detect ANY. I had a huge southern magnolia in my front yard growing up, and I'm always on a quest for anything that smells remotely close to those gorgeous, heavenly scented blooms. Given the reviews, I really had high hopes for this to give me a bit of nostagia in a bottle. Sadly, all I got was a bit nauseous. I don't even smell a hint of magnolia in this... maybe some synthetic gardenia, but definitely no magnolia I've ever encountered. I know it's one of the hardest notes to mimic, and I've yet to find a dead-on synthetic of it, but this isn't even remotely close. I figured, at the least, this would be a nice white floral. Unfortunately, it failed me there, as well.

I found it similar to a handful of stink bombs that share a common characteristic (maybe the same synthetic musk mixing with synthetic white florals?) - White Diamonds, Lovely & Imari are the ones that immediately came to mind. There's something thick and cloying about all of these that always makes me queasy, so this is a no-go for me. The only thing I did like was the bottle.

This is a beautiful creamy blend of white florals with a light musky drydown. Some white florals give me a headache, but this never does. This is very nice on a warm summer night. I don't wear it everyday, but I am constantly grabbing the bottle for a sniff!

Edit: I LOVE this! I usually only wear florals in the summer, but this is so beautiful I can't stay away! If you like white florals you HAVE to give this a try. So beautiful!

I'm loving this. As a lover of creamy white florals, this hits the nail on the head. I find it to be light, gentle, and smooth. Almost a skin scent. I wear White Linen but this is creamier and smoother, not as crisp IMO. I feel so ladylike when I wear this! It's floral, but not sweet-in-your-face floral. BTW, since many people contrast this with Rare Gold when reviewing, FWIW, I tried Rare Gold but found that to be too sweet and cloying, even though I own and wear Coco!

To compare with another popular high-end scent, it is a pretty floral in the nature of MJ Daisy, which I also own and love. But while Daisy has a greener opening and dries down to a soft marshmallow-y floral, (and then fades away to nothing in a few hours) this seems to be more of a straightforward floral with hints of creaminess that dries down to a nice skin scent and lasts throughout the day. What more could I want, I ask!?

I feel I could wear this anywhere. It is not a sultry, sexy scent, so I will probably continue to wear Euphoria when I want to heat things up. But this is a very smooth and appealing scent that draws people in. That alone is rather sexy. It is a scent that a princess would wear. :)

I agree it has notes similar to Ystatis and Tatiana, but it is not the same as those scents. I don't care for those two particular scents, but I love this.

I also agree that it has an old-fashioned ambiance about it. Perhaps because it almost seems like a single-note fragrance, yet it is not, and the blend keeps it from being ordinary. It is the type of scent that women used to wear, I imagine, when women wanted to be feminine, elegant, and genteel, and wouldn't have dreamt of leaving the house without lipstick, a pretty frock on, and their hair done. In other words, it is the antithesis of the flip-flop, camisole strap, short-shorts fashion culture that we are currently enduring.

I adore the packaging and give Avon great credit for developing such a lovely scent in a nice bottle that you can buy on sale for less than the price of a tube of Chanel lotion! I'm going back for the full set as it is on sale for 23.00 right now...and that includes the bottle of fragrance!

If you like a ladylike, beautiful and appealing scent that is not generic, yet simply lovely and pretty, try this. Great lasting power, too!

I used to wear Avon's Pearls & Lace and had been looking for a replacement since they discontinued it. In comes Rare Pearls with a beautiful bottle and reasonable price. It is a white floral that has a feminine and sophisicated smell to it. You will notice a powdery type quality mixed in, but I go for those scents =) It just makes you feel classy wearing it. No problems for my sensitive skin either. Hope Avon keeps this in their fragrance line!

I have this in a purse-sized version. It's VERY overpowering if you over-do it-a floral with a slightly sweet, yet musky scent. Initially, I liked it-until it reacted on a burn scar that I have on my neck (from a third degree burn, years ago). After that, my scar itched like crazy, and the surrounding skin, including on my ear, broke out in an intensely irritated, lumpy rash that drove me nuts!. Since I was having 2nd thoughts about this, anyway, I tossed it. Too strong for a floral, even though it is a prettier one than some-and is relatively inexpensive.

I love Rare Pearls by Avon. It reminds me of Ysatis, only not as powerful and a little more floral. Avon often has the purse sprays (.5 oz.) on sale for 5.99 or so. I used to think of Rare Pearls as my "secret perfume," one that smells good on me but nobody else has discovered, but even my somewhat snooty sister-in-law has a bottle on her vanity. :-)

I got this scent because I was excited for the reviews I saw on the Avon website, and the bottle just looked pretty! Anyway, it was on sale and im glad I bought it! Very nice fragrance and to me...its on the cool and warm scent, kinda right in the middle. I love 'cool' scents very much but this is just fine. Beautiful bottle, very elegant. Great price, definitely give it a try!

I love this perfume, it's one of my summer fragrances, i get so many compliments, and for the price you can't beat it, its so summery and it just makes me feel good all day, its floral but not to much, i used it the first time 5 years ago and every summer I buy 1 or 2 bottles, they have nice sales, you can get buy one get one free, but for the price its worth it to buy two at $20 a bottle, its definitley a keeper.

This is a white, feminine floral in the same vein as the original Lagerfeld Chloe, Liz Taylor's White Diamonds and EL White Linen. The dry down is reminiscent of beautiful triple-milled magnolia soap with a very slight coconut kick. It is a brilliant dupe of Diane Von Furstenberg's Tatiana. I own the original (vintage) and I can't tell them apart on my skin. Rare Pearls is a good quality, long lasting and great smelling fragrance and you can't beat the price, especially on sale. A whole range of bath and body products are available and often on sale which is great for layering. I think the packaging is cute.
