I happen to like the smell of this product. What it does for my fine, but thick processed hair is wonderful. I've been using it for over two years now. It's an interesting product. Use too much, and you're a grease ball. Use too little, and there's no effect.
I take about a dime size in my palms, and rub it through my wet hair before I blow dry it. If I didn't do this, my hair would be lackluster, have less shine, show split ends and be flat. I also feel it protects my hair from the heat processing.
I try to keep it away from my roots or my hair will appear more greasy, too. Should I have poured a little too much into my hands, and it's still on my palms, I'll just rub the excess onto my arms. I enjoy the smell, and it evaporates quickly.
At nighttime, if my hair seems on the drier side, I'll take a small amount, less than a dime size, and do the same thing. I'll find that this volumizes my hair and seems to pouf it up. In the morning, my hair is not greasy at all, but it isn't dry, and I can still get another day out of it without washing it. That's important because too much washing will eventually strip the color and that's not something I need.
I buy the large bottle, and that's rather unwieldy, so I've taken some used 2 ounce containers that I've had from former products and poured it into them instead. Much easier to control the amount from a smaller container, I can tote them in my makeup bag, if necessary, and I can also store one of these on my vanity.
Definitely worth it to buy the large size versus the small. It will last you a year, and if you break that down, it's pennies a day for a product that makes your hair look good. You're really putting so little into your locks at one time it doesn't weigh your hair down at all. Chi Silk Infusion just gives you shine and manageability. A great Farouk product I'm stuck on.

Wow... well I was thinking of buying this, until I checked the ingredient list. This 'professional' and very expensive item is packed full with 'cones' - silicone oils. Absolutely unbelievable. Always read the ingredient lists and make informed decisions.

The best shampoo and conditioner so far. I used Dove and Herbal Ess. before and found that my hair was oily after a day. I looked for a sulfate free shampoo and came across CHI. Not only does it smell great it leaves my hair smooth, shiny, and less freezy. A must try!!!

Here's the deal, I packed this away for trip once and it leaked everywhere and the smell has haunted me so badly I left this product in the drawer for years. After running out of hair serums and my repeatedly dyed hair was showing the consequences. Dry, brittle, just plain nasty. I figured to use a little every night for the tips raking the rest into the full length of my hair. After three days my hair was restored back to its former glory. My husband can't resist running his fingers through my hair since it is tangle free and super soft now.

The only con is that I have the large industrial size bottle and residue tends to leak. I wish it somehow came in a spray form. Also, if you use too much than a dime sized amount (even on my mid back hair) your hair will be greasy like you left in too much conditioner. Use only a little everyday on your tips and you will see almost instant results.

Also, this is very fast absorbing for the skin and works to the same effect. I've since abandoned my heavy body butters and slap this on the skin and it dries in literally 5 seconds. I may never get over the distinct smell, but I can't preach this enough as my favorite hair serum. It is wonderful and my HG after all these years of relying on hair masks to save my hair.

This is one of my top favorite silk treatments by far. I love how it smells, how ot feels when i run my hands through it and the shine it gives my long haor. Another thing i love about this product is that it helps with frizz anr split ends. even after your done flat ironing- you can still see your split ends, and this silk infusion really helps diminish the look. Another really important thing to me while using a silk treatment- is how it will make my hair feel the following day. I have tried some that work great the same day but the following day, you notive that your hair is weighed down and looks terribly greasy. This product looks just as good the next day- still smells wonderful and doesnt leave my hair a greasy mess. The last thing I love about this product is it can also be used as a moisturizer for dry hands. What I usually do is pour a quarter size amount in my hand, rub my hands together- and then starting from the bottom- adding it to the layers of my hair. Its a tad pricey- but its so worth the money.

THE FORMULA OF THIS PRODUCUT HAS BEEN CHANGED! THE KERATIN MIST INGREDIENTS HAVE ALSO BEEN CHANGED! WRITE TO THE COMPANY AND TELL THEM TO SWITCH IT BACK, THEY HAVE CHEAPENED THE INGREDIENTS AFTER BUILDING A STELLAR REPUTATION! I am so sick of companies doing this! These used to be my two favorite products, my hair would turn out perfect and was very healthy.

I love this product! I use this before flat ironing with my sedu and it leaves my naturally curly and slightly coarse hair super silky and shiny. I use the tiniest amount. The small bottle has lasted forever. Smells like Abercrombie and Fitch which I enjoy.

I absolutely LOVE this product!!!!

It is pricey BUT! if you consider that you only need to use a very very small amount at a time, it will last you for a very long time. I have a small bottle and have been using it for more than 1.5 years.

You take a very small amount, rub it in your palms and apply it to your hair all throughout. It will NOT make it look greasy at all. It will smell AMAZING, will not allow it to frizz and the hair will be very nice and soft.

I will buy this until the end of my days!

The absolute best treatment for hair before blow-drying or heat styling. I apply a small amount in my hand and work it through my damp hair, focusing on the ends. Once I am done blow-drying, I can see and feel the difference. My hair looks smoother, shinier, and is oh so soft. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I only use it when I apply heat to my hair. When I air dry my hair, I prefer to use leave in conditioners that repair and replenish (this product kind of coats the hair). If you want your hair to look like it could be in a Pantene commercial, apply this before heat styling!!!

For some reason this doesn't seem to make a difference when I curl my hair. But it certainly does when I straighten my hair. (I have naturally wavy hair). Overall I have always loved this product. VERY expensive for just the smallest bottle, but I can see why. I DO love The "One and Only" Argan oil (from Sally's) as well as both I cant ever be without!

This oil makes my hair super shiny and straight. It is expensive to be in such small bottles, however a little goes a long way.

this product is simply okay. It adds a small amount of shine and silkiness to my hair, but nothing really dramatic. I bought it after my hairdresser recommended it to me, I have used up almost the whole bottle and its just meh, I would not recommend this product to anyone simply because it is far too pricey for the results.

This product is AMAZING for my hair! It's a leave-in serum that I apply before blow-drying. There is a heavy, men's-cologne-type-of-scent which disappears completely after hair is dry. Kind of weird. But the results I get when I use this- Oh My Goodness! This makes my hair super-smooth and soft and shiny, and my style lasts longer as well. It's a Good Hair Day in a bottle, basically. AND it provides heat protection too? This just might be my HG.
Love this, would definitely buy again!

I bought this product and have been using for roughly a month, everyday and it is seriously a great product that I would not regret buying. Unlike the other hair oils, it doesnt smell nasty and it doesnt look greasy. It could be pricey but it last for a long time, so it basically adds up. This gives a nice shine on the hair and also, like the name, "silk" infusion, does leave the hair looking and feeling nice and silky.

I was so excited to try this out when i first bought this. I had such high hopes. I guess this products isnt terrible but it just does not work for me. It makes my hair soft but it doesnt cut down flat ironing time like other reviews have said. It also doesnt keep my hair straight.

If your hair is already dry and damaged, this really won't do much. I have normal wavy hair and this didn't do anything for softness or tame my frizz. It really didn't make a difference in my hair, wet or dry
