I loved this color!! It baffles me when great products are discontinued. (Whisper is another gorgeous Glossimer color that they discontinued).
When looking at Sesame in the tube one might assume it is bubblegum-pink, fit for a teenager, but when applied to my lips it had the most beautiful, appropriate for any age color. It was a perfect complement to my tan color in the summer, and also a fresh soft look for my lighter beige color in the winter.
IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A REPLACEMENT, PLEASE POST.

I'm so sad that this has been discontinued. Sesame Chanel Glossimer is my all time, hands down, favorite lip gloss of all time! I wore this for my wedding in 2006, and have been in love with it ever since! It's the perfect pink/ peach, with lots of gold glitter. It works well with any eye makeup or blush. Chanel has beautiful products, and Sesame is no exception. It's pretty pricey, however, I feel it's totally worth it. If anyone knows of another Chanel or even a MAC, NARS, or Revlon shade that comes close, please send me a message! I would repurchase if it was not a discontinued color.

I've been searching for the perfect milky peachy-pink lipgloss and when I saw this at the Chanel counter I thought I had found the holy grail. Unfortunately on my pigmented lips, this turns a boring light pink. All that lovely peachiness completely disappears on my lips! :(
Disappointing colour aside, this gloss really is fabulous. It is unscented and doesn't have any icky flavor. The texture is VERY smooth and non-goopy. My lips actually feel really, really soft after wearing this all day!
I'll admit I was hesitant to pay the $26USD pricetag, but the glorious texture makes it sooo worth it!

Love love love glossimers, but not a fan of sesame. The glitter scratches my lips and the texture is thick and gummy, not silky like the other glossimers. I love the color, but although this is a slightly thicker formula it doesn't feel like it lasts as long on my lips. Would not buy again. Would consider swapping, but am kind of against swapping used glosses.

I am lipgloss junkie and this has to be one of my favs! It is a warm peachy pink color on me and makes my lips look fuller. I think this color goes with all the makeup looks that I do. I am always a fan of the light warm pinky glosses. Another winner!

Chanel Glossimer in Sesame is a pretty peachy pink colour. thick consistency, lasts a long time, with LOADS of glitter.
I was sold when I read that it covers up pigmented lips. Yes it does but ONLY if you use a lot of it. And with this a little goes a long way.. because it has a very thick consistency and it contains a lot of glitter. If I use a lot I would look hilarious, as my lips are already big.
So my advice is to use a nude lip colour before putting on this gloss for an extra effect.
Overall it's pretty good. I don't really like the glitter though, I think it's a bit OTT. But I suppose it would be beneficial for people with thinner lips.
I said no to buying this product again, but I'd probably buy the glossimer in another colour.
Edit: Taken off another lippie. I almost never use this again-my lips have to be in tip top condition to wear this because if you have even *slightly* dry lips this lipgloss will butcher your lips. They'll become flaky and disgusting in a few hours! Now I only use this on special occassions and sometimes as glitter for my eyelids.

This is my new favorite lip gloss. When the salesgirl suggested it, I wasn't sure as it looked too dark but on it is gorgeous. It is nude with just enough pink/peach to keep it from washing out your lips. My lips are really pigmented and I am always trying to tone them down. This does that plus adds a tiny bit of gorgeous color. It seems to stay on longer than my MAC glosses also which is nice.

Oohh, I do love Glossimers. Very nice and moisturizing. It looks like a pale Pepto-Bismol pink, but a sheer pink-nude when applied. Helps cancel out the pigmentation I have in my lips. It's also very creamy - I can't quite describe the texture, because it seems unlike many other glosses. It's kind of more...dense? Not as liquidy as other glosses.

For reference: NC30, Asian, yellow-neutral undertones. Brunette/brown eyes.
I swapped for this and haven't been disappointed! I have dark pink pigmented lips, and Sesame Glossimer tones the my natural lip color down just enough for the perfect pinky-nude shade. Once I got this, I swapped away my NARS Chelsea Girl Lip Lacquer which had a tendency to look pink-grey on my lips and wash out my skintone. I have noticed that Sesame can look too frosty w/out some sort of base- which is why I've given it a 4- lately, I just put on CO Bigelow clear gloss or chapstick and the color is perfect. Matches pretty much any look I want but as the poster below mentions, this color is perfect for bronzed skin. The texture is divine, and Glossimers are the longest lasting gloss, for me.

Sesame has let me down.I was hoping much more from it.The texture is very different than my other favorite glossimers. This one is very goopy and it looks like mud, leaves this ring-like shape on my lips. Also even though the pinky salmon color looks divine in the tube, it goes way too white and milky on my lips. Not a favorite so not a repurchase.

I thought this would be a pinker and nicer version of cappuccino. But it really looks like something I would have worn to prom about 10 years ago. The glitter is obvious (more than in other glossimers) and the color is unnatural.

HG material. I have brightly pigmented pink lips and this gloss tones them down without washing me out. It is a nice glossy color and creamy with gold microglitter that adds a nice subtle sparkle but no frost or glitter chunks. I like to pair it over Lipstick Queen Saint Nude or other nude lipsticks or it is fine on its own - also looks good over MAC roleplay. I was worried I would be disappointed after the MAC underage gloss I bought which looked like chalk. This one is very easy to apply and very natural. Doesn't look like much but I highly recommmend (Blonde hair, blue eyes)

I have been hesitant to buy any milky pink lipgloss after disasters with MAC's Underage and Guerlain's light pinks. However, I purchased this off of eBay for a rather okay price, and I thought "Why not, at least it has nice microglitter in it". But this turned out to be THE light pink gloss out of them all! It is sheer, but not too sheer (colour shows nicely), it doesn't wash me out (NC40) and it sparkles under the sun lol. It has a bit of a warm note in it which suits me. A must for light lips suitable with a smokey-eye look or simply when you want a more neutral lip. And, it stays forever.

Well, I tried another gloss from Channel. Even though i swore it wasn't worth the money. But I saw this color and had to have it. I tried it and was impressed at the natural pink-nude lip color look. I might have liked these glosses better if it had a good price and a lip brush. All and all I will keep this one, but i suspect I will get bored and end up using a plumping gloss in a super sheer formula. As these glosses do nothing to add that moisturized volume to the lip. Like, Lip fusion or Patricia Wexler. And now i also like Urbad Decay XXX lip gloss, it does add volume by moisturization, and has super shiney effect. Channel a overrated gloss, in my opinion. Must also mention I personaly feeel Avon's Glazewear is VERY similar to these glosses.

Chanel Glossimers are addicting! I just got "glow"...and I HAD to get "sesame" too! I wanted a natural milky pink. Lucky for me, I scored w/ this color! It's the perfect shade of pink without turning Barbie on me. This is definitely one I could wear daily...but can look sexy for nights out.

Glossimers are my fave glosses in the whole world! This one is my HG everyday gloss. I have grey- blue eyes, nc25 ish, brown hair and this looks so pretty and natural, nudey-pink. Even when the gloss wears off, im still left with a soft pink stain....i love this alot!! (however my lips are super pigmented, so i blank them out with a tiny bit of foundation first) This is one shade i will forever re purchase

I appreciate the smooth texture of Glossimers and this is a nice color. I have pigmented lips and Sesame really tones them down. It's great to pair with a smokey eye. However, I'm not fond of the glitter in this. It doesn't ruin the texture but it tends to end up all around my mouth (weird, because other glitter glosses don't transfer like that on me). I would buy another Glossimer, but not this particular color again.

Sesame is a very sweet pale peachy pink and its gold shimmers are not really visible on my lips. Love to wear this alone when I want something neutral, but it looks equally nice when paired with pink/peach lipsticks. However, Chanel's glossimers are a little sticky.
(I'm an Asian, MAC NW20 / Chanel 20 Clair / Shu 575, dark brown hair and eyes)

I wasn't sure if I should buy this because I usually can't pull off pale lips and this looked very light in the tube. I read all the great reviews, however, and decided to give it a try. Wow, I really like it! It is very light and milky, but looks really nice and suprisingly doesn't wash me out. It has some gold sparkles to it but it's not nearly as frosty and peachy as Mac nymphette. I like it way better than the latter (especially the texture) and carry this everywhere with me now! My new fave gloss!
