A friend of mine had and asked me to use it to see how it was imho. I hated it. It felt like putting slimy sparkly goop in my hair. It weighed it down and for some reason made my hair look darker because it was slicked down (?).

This is actually this best product I have used to control my frizz!! I don't think it works as well to strighten hair which is its down point but I only really need it for fizz. Its not greasy at all and leaves my hair smooth and smells nice. I highly recommed this for people with frizzy hair, but I u are looking to strighten your hair I would use this with bed head extrme stright shampoo and conditioner, as I got this for my friend and It works well of her. So If u are looking to strighten and frizz would use the shampoo and I WILL work bettere :) hope this helped.

I bought this product to protect my hair from the heat and to stop the frizz I always get in my crown area
The scent is nice (green apples) but dont smell it directly from the bottle otherwise it will smell like apples but also an unpleasant smell of chemicals >.>maybe because i straightened it with a flat iron not with a blow dryer >_>

yeah it tamed the frizz and the flyaways >>> but my hair still not super straight and flat with no curls at all as how I expected

And the product claimed straightening >.> (bad aspect!!)

I`ll purchase the product again because it tames the frizz pretty well and i can keep my lower curls without being flattened ^.^

and have a nice day :)

Its an excellent product for its price. The only prob I have is its smell. Otherwise, totally non-sticky and doesnt become a problem if I accidently apply a little more (which is a very big prob with Redken heat glide). Will totally buy again :)

I think this is a very decent product that does what it says. It helps to control frizz, which it does quite well. but i don't like the idea of silicone , so probably won't get back again.

My hair is very curly and this HELPS get it straight... but not completely (only hairdressers can get my hair perfectly straight). Either way, this makes my hair very very soft and is not greasy. I quite like it i will repurchase. Bedhead is def an excellent line of hair products

Can't say that I'm too impressed with this product. My hair is thick, long, curly and frizzy. In an attempt to get some more control of it, I tried this. Now, I don't either blowdry or straighten my hair, so can't say if it works differently if you do. But this actually made my hair more frizzy and it dried out my already dry hair. So yeah, not that impressed and will obviously not buy again.

I bought this to replace my Regis Lightweight Mousse.

I have frizz just at the part in my hair the the sides fluff out when I clip the rest of my (long, straight) hair back. All I needed was something to calm it down and this does the trick. I only use about a dime-sized amount after showering, rub it against my palms and run it through my hair. If needed after styling, I thin out a little bit and smooth it down the top and sides of my head. I was delighted that this products is water-soluble!

I use this serum in combination with a shine serum.

I have curly, frizzy, thick hair... damaged by coloring. So, over the years, I have tried (and will keep trying) lots of styling products in my pursuit to control what is going on top of my head.
This one is a good product! It does what it claims: controls the frizz. It also gives a nice shine to my hair and it isn't to heavy (meaning that I still have all the volume I want and it doesn't destroy the curls and ringlets, but then again, apart from Johnson's Baby Oil, most products don't, since it is so thick). Smells lovely, as do most of their products.

The cons: it is a thin formula so I need to use a lot to get the results I want, which is aggravated by its price (if I remember correctly close to 20€).

I bought this product forever ago and just recently started using it again.
I LOVE it. I have VERY long fine, yet thick hair ( fine texture but TONS of it) it's wavy, not too frizzy. I put this in after I wash, then blow dry and almost don't even need to straighten. Makes my hair very soft. I love it

Its ok, but just okay. I have thick, fine, curly hair, so frizz is my bestie (or worstie). This helps, but not as much as a frizz smoothing cream.

i am so sad. i picked this up yesterday after finding it (i live in baltimore city and had to walk to a CVS by the inner harbor to get it) i am extremely upset by this product. i love tigi and own many products by them but this specifically has killed my hair for a day. after putting this in my hair before styling it turned crispy and even more wavy. i do NOT have curly hair or straight but wavy, thick and frizzy hair naturally. this intensified it. it did take away frizz but i'd rather deal with that than what i dealt with today. i'll use it when i have more time and experiment but right now, i will NEVER suggest this to someone.

i originally bought this because i wanted a cheaper dupe of Kerastase serum. Kerastase is amazing, but is just so expensive and my hair is very long, so i need good products that i can maintain constantly whenever i run out. i found this for about £5/6 on ebay and thought i would give it a go. firstly, it is literally a fine glittery/shimmery green gel. it comes out like a gel and is quite wet, not like an oily dry serum. i also need a lot more than the amount i would use for a serum, due to the length of my hair and the texture of this. but that's ok because you get so much product. i love how the bottle has no lid or pump, you just unscrew the nozzle to squeeze out the product, but sometimes it takes a bit of effort not to pump just air out. it also smells VERY strongly of grape/pear/watermelon. i use this after blow-drying and straightening and before gelling.
but onto the main part, YES it works definitely. i once forgot to use this and i only realised i had forgotten to use it when i noticed afterwards my hair being frizzier than usual. some people can rely on this alone, but if like me, you have very unruly hair, this works brilliantly alongside heat, or something else specific to calming your hair down after washing that you do. this is not a miracle-worker i won't lie, but it is effective and i will continue buying this.

I love this! My hair has been out of control! I have wavy hair only in the back and underneath. It has been thinned out and gets wiry looking in the back and very frizzy! Today is the second time I have used this and it WORKS! Finally something! I use it mixed with Moroccan oil and my hair is smooth and straight. I've not found anything that works this good on my hair-- fights frizz, smoothes and straightens! YAY!

I bought a huge bottle of Tigi Bead Head at the behest of my stylist - whom I trust.

So far I am just "meh" about it - as it does help to add definition to my ultra-fine, wavy, color-treated hair - but it also builds up. Quickly. Price was not bad - about $14 for the 6-8 oz. bottle of sparkly greenish glop. Smell is OK - kinda synthetic perfume-y.

Not a holy grail by any means - but seems OK.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!!!! Ok, so I started using this product hoping it would magically straighten my hair somehow. After washing my hair (not with the control freak shampoo) I put a nickel-sized amount in my hand (I have THICK hair an inch past my shoulders), worked it through my hair, brushed my hair out, and went to watch TV so it could air-dry. To my dismay, my hair was not a tiny bit straight. If you're looking for a miracle straightening product....it's awful. What I DID notice is that my hair dried in beautiful, frizz free ringlets. Woo hoo! It's almost BETTER than straight hair :) if you're a curly girlie but have major frizz, this one's for you :)

I tried this stuff on several occasions. It just makes my hair feel crunchy? I had high hopes for this product, but it made my hair feel like straw & it also feels heavy after using it.
I have coarse, straight, frizzy hair.

Control Freak is great. I love that it's a more compact bottle, and the nozzle part is easy to use and not messy. My girlfriends and I always kept this in our lockers during high school to quickly tame our hair, and it's very easy to travel with. I have very pin straight, long hair, so I don't need to use much to make it work for me. It is a bit expensive for a product I don't use a lot, but I feel you truly do get what you pay for. Overall a good buy!

This stuff is best on fine, curly hair prone to frizz. I apply it when my hair is dry and it eliminates frizz and defines the curls. It also adds great shine and doesn't make my hair crunchy.
