Praise the heavens..I cannot live without dry shampoo!
my hair is fine and can get oily after a day. when i use dry shampoo it looks freshly washed, and i can get away without washing my hair for 2-3 days.
as my hair is mousey brown and highlighted with blonde, the whiteness of the shampoo doesn't really affect me.

TIP: massage the dry shampoo into your scalp with your fingers. if you have dark hair, they provide a range for different hair colours: brunette and blonde hair.

I was nearly out of my bottle of Pssst.. (curly/wavy hair formula) so I went to Ulta to pick up some more. They were out of it so I grabbed a bottle of this without worry, assuming that it would work just the same and all dry shampoos are the same.

I'm really not impressed, It gives my hair a strange waxy texture that doesn't feel exactly clean, and the smell is alright but nothing to write home about... Also seemed significantly drying for my dry, fine hair. Didn't really freshen up my hair after a night at a smoky bar, but I understand that's a tall order so I'll forgive it. As far as volume goes my hair seemed a little lifted but I've had better results with Pssst...
The thing that bugged me the most about this product was the white chunky residue that made my black hair gray and how difficult it was to brush away (worth noting that my hairbrush was disgusting after this process and needed a wash itself). Honestly you'd be better off just dusting on some baby powder. The whitening properties of this product are just as bad, and at least baby powder doesn't give you the funky texture. They do make a tinted formula for brunettes, but that still sounds kind of gross to me, like you'd have all sorts of brown crap in your scalp.

Never straying from the Pssst... Curly/Wavy Formula again. It is completely clear so it works for all hair colors, and smells fresher anyway.

Tried a lot of dry shampoos, and this seems to be the only one that makes my hair smell and look clean.
I have really dark brown, dry hair, and this doesn't leave a white residue or smell full of chemicals. It smells clean and fresh and lasts all day, even with my hands running through my hair all the time :)
I apply this about 5-6 inches from my roots, and spray in sections. Then I let it sit for a bit (5-6 minutes, usually when I get ready in the morning), then I rub it in, to get all the greasies out of my head, until the white powder is gone. Though I don't brush it out, this method seems to work and leave my hair clean, fresh, and volumized, with NO WHITE RESIDUE!
I like the cherry scented one and the fresh scented one. The floral one was a little too strong on the scent, so those of you who are sensitive smell or get headaches/migraines from certain smells, stay away from the floral scent.
So, if you're on the fence about this, they sell travel sizes at Ulta, so you dont have to buy the full size bottle and waste money if you dont like it. But I recommend to anyone, especially if you have dry hair and dont shower everyday, or those with oily roots, or those wanting more texture/volume in their hair.

Great product. After trying tresseme dry shampoo this one seemed amazing and smells great. No residue is left behind and your hair is left super bouncy and full of life! a little bit pricey compared to other but completely worth it !

This product is garbage. I have fine hair, so it can get oily and weighed down if I do not keep it fresh. I bought this product because it was the cheapest dry shampoo I could find and I was totally disappointed. I do not see a lot of dry shampoo come out- it appears to be more alcohol than anything else. The alcohol dries out my hair and leaves the texture unpleasant until I wash my hair again. The worst part is that it does not look less oily or more refreshed! It looks exactly the same as before. The smell is nice, but that is the only nice thing about this shampoo. Definitely not for fine/delicate hair.

This is my go to dry shampoo! I have Been using this product for over a year now. I use the original and tropical scent. My hair is instantly refreshed and smells great. Great option if you don't have time to wash your hair.

Fourth dry shampoo I've tried (Suave and Rene Furterer were the others) and definitely the best of the bunch. It provides much more oil absorption than the two Suaves on the market, albeit Batiste is about twice as expensive. The powder/mist is not as fine as the Suave one, but there is no product buildup at the nozzle..

My only gripe would be the slightly white cast of powder when I get a little heavy handed when spraying (I have yet to try the version for brunette hair). I've tried both the Blush scent and the Original and I prefer the Original scent as it's not as overwhelming.

This is my HG dry shampoo! While I was in Europe, I bought the original scent, tried it and LOVED it. I love the smell, it makes my hair look great, the packaging is convienient, and now you can buy it in the US. You should definitely try this, it is fabulous!

i honestly don't know what i'd do with out dry shampoo now, i'm completely addicted!
in this line, i've used the tropical, cherry, urban, and blonde ones, i usually just buy which ever is the best value at the time but I think my favourite is the urban one, it's a really nice clean perfumey scent.
it really is a life saver as i have quite oily skin so the next day after washing my hair it starts to look greasy (and washing it all the time is both damaging and time consuming with it being long) but just a quick blast and it looks fresh as a daisy.

This product didn't agree with my hair. I saw no improvement. After several uses I tossed out the product. I will go back to my regular but more expensive brand. Shame as it seems to work for most people.

As a newbie to dry shampoo, I really like this one.
It goes on white and you have to wait a little bit before you brush your hair. I think it works better than oscar blandi's, so def save some money and purchase this one instead!

It's been awhile since I've written my last product review...and I must say, this Batisse Dry Shampoo is SOO great, I had to write a review. It is one of the very very few things that I've stayed brand loyal to. I purchase my Batisse at Winners/ Marshalls and pretty much anywhere I can get it on sale. The bottle is relatively small, but lasts at least 2-3 months...and I use it every other day.

I have fine black hair with bangs that usually gets really greasy and flat within a day. I used to wash my hair everyday because my bangs would just lie limp on my forehead!! But now, I give a generous spray of shampoo at my roots and comb my hair upside down to give it some volume!

I really love my Batisse...I'm probably on my 7th bottle of this!!! The Tropical scent is OK too. I personally like the original better...but this one was on sale and the scent is not overpowering.

Very good dry shampoo
Works perfectly, you can use as much as you want without over doing it.
Hair goes white at first but goes away when you massage the spray in.
I'd recommend this to anyone.

I found this on sale at Ulta BOGOF. I've been very pleased. It makes my dirty hair look bouncy and voluminous. It doesn't feel silky but I've never tried a dry shampoo that did. I do have to be careful not to spray it too close to my hairline on my forehead or it can look white...and I have blonde hair, so I'm not sure how well this product would work with dark hair. I've been using the one with a British flag as the label and it doesn't seem to have a fragrance to me, which is nice. I'll buy this again for sure.

After trying several dry shampoos (Ojon, Oscar Blandi, Tigi's Rockaholic, and Batiste) I've decided that the name dry shampoo is sort of a misnomer. That being said, this stuff is better than anything else I've tried. I wash my hair about 2-3x a week, and generally end up using Batiste in the morning of the day I wash my hair. I have a lot of hair, and do a layer at a time, spraying around the roots and then brushing my hair until all the white powderiness has disappeared.

Pros: Lasts longer than any other dry shampoo I've tried. Doesn't smell crazy weird and strong like a lot of dry shampoos (*cough* Ojon and Oscar Blandi *cough*). Doesn't evaporate from the bottle. Sprays evenly, and powderiness combs out easily.

Cons: Is still highly fragranced (smells like dryer sheets).

Love it! I just bought it, and I'm very impressed. I looked at reviews first and I'm so glad I bought this. Just one thing--don't spray this on your part. I bet everyone else already knows this, I don't know why I did it but I did. oops. anyway, it doesn't leave white residue, you don't have to press too hard on the nosil to get a good amount out of it, I have other products in my hair so I'm not sure if it's this but my hair is extremely bodacious today :) It eliminates oil, it has a very very mild scent, nothing that people will smell if they don't have their nose right in your hair, I was worried about the scent cause I like to wear one perfume and I don't want it to be overpowered by anything else. I like this! it should significantly reduce the amount of times per week that I need to wash my hair.

I have really long and thick hair and washing and drying it can take time. Batiste dry shampoo is a life saver for me when I'm running late and don't have time to wash and dry my hair... or when I'm just being lazy. Just a quick 5 second spray to my roots, brush my hair and I'm ready to go. My hair looks and feels clean and normal when I use this. This is the only dry shampoo I've ever tried but I'm impressed and will continue to use it.

This is a great dry shampoo. I was using Rockstar or something and then I tried Treseme (ugh!) but this is the best I've found. The smell isn't offensive, and it doesn't leave any residue or white powder afterwards. I use as directed and shake well, apply to roots and then work into scalp and brush out... it def "refreshes" my hair in the AM after 2-3 days without washing. I usually either apply a volumizer or use a blow dryer to quickly give my hair some volume!

I hated this! I've had three bottles and tried, and tried, to make it work but it doesnt. My greasy hair only clumps, and has an ashy cast. It feels disgusting, and is itchy! My friends say the same. Wouldnt reccomend.

This product is awesome. This is the first dry shampoo I've ever tried, so I can't compare, but until a few months ago, the selection of such products was quite limited in drugstores around here. It's like they all got the memo at the same time and finally decided to carry more than Got2b and Klorane...
.
Anyway, I mostly use it to keep my bangs fresh and non-greasy and it works quite well. I had been using baby powder for over a year before trying dry shampoo and it doesn't even begin to compare. I admit the scent is not great, but to me, it smells a bit like lemon Pledge, which is not necessarily the worst scent in the world. It dissipates quickly, so it's not a big deal. My boyfriend tried it once because he didn't have time to properly shower and he LOVED it. He kept talking about it for days (and he didn't notice the scent).
.
It's between 9$ and 11$ here in Montreal, depending on the store (Jean Coutu tends to be cheaper than Shoppers Drug Mart in my neighbourhood). I've had it for over a month and I've used it every 2 days.
