This is my HG product!! I'd been trying to find a good lipstain for years, but couldn't find the perfect one. I absolutely hate Benetint even though it's probably one of the most popular ones out there. For me, Benetint is too dark and I end up looking like I should be on a Broadway show. After a while, it turns my lips a blue-ish color, which is NOT the look I'm going for. Also, it really stings my lips and causes wrinkles.

The Body Shop lipstain, on the other hand, is fabulous. It gives me a lovely healthy, glowy look - the raspberry pink color is very subtle but gorgeous on pale skin. If you have pale skin and dark hair, it will give you the Snow White look. I love the just-kissed, bitten lips look it gives you. I really hope it never, ever gets discontinued.

Ohhh i love this product! Have been using it for years, i'm using my 4th tube now. My I-have-to-use-this-product-before-going-outside thing.
It works really well on staining my cheeks, but I'm not using it for tinting my lips, though. I think it's not hygienic enough, using the same product to your cheeks and lips.

Cons:
- After a few times using this, the remaining product on the tube gets a little bit murky. Maybe the applicator is getting full of germs (?)
- Not a long-lasting product if you using it for everyday.

Pros:
- Very pigmented! Dab about 3-4 dots on each of my cheeks, blend it with my fingers and done!
- Stays on for about 8-10 hours

Give it a try! Amazing product!

I LOVE it - so so natural - really really natural but still does this just needed effect .
slight sweet taste !

I dont like loud make up so this is perfect for me day time and even camping or at the sea - slight tint for lips and cheeks .

but had the misfortune of not closing it properly ( my fault ) - and it stained my clothes and my legs - and when it stains it stains - i fought to get it all out !
also slightly pricy for what it is .

I got this free in a magazine, but would cost £10 in store. I wanted this as I wanted a cheaper alternative to benetint. I like the packaging, mine has never leaked. I put some on my finger and rub onto my cheeks for the best result as the stain will leave darker and liter patches on your cheeks otherwise. It looks nice on the lips straight after application, however it does not fade evenly which then looks awful. It feels sticky on the lips till it is dry.
I will not buy this again, but I will use this up.

I love this stuff!! It lasted me a year and I'm on my second tube now. You apply it to your cheeks and you have to blend it quickly, or it'll leave a weird stain, but it's not much of a problem. 4 lippies because it stains my fingers! But I would give 5 lippies to the product itself. Definitely recommend tho!

Fantastic product. I have very fair, lightly freckled skin and this works really well as a cheek stain. You can build the colour up and it looks really natural. As a lip colour it is ok on me but not great. It is a bit too fuscia to look natural on me. But I have been re buying it for about 5 years now. It is a make up staple.

I bought this product since 2004 and I love it! I've tried many types of blusher and I am not a big fan of lipsticks. But since I bought this product, I can't live a day without it! Gives me a natural rosy under the sun cheeks and my lips are stained well without over colouring or make me look like a clown. Only cons is that I have to apply it using my fingers and stain my fingers and the fact that applicator is used for both cheeks and lips, feels a little bit unhygienic. Surprisingly doesn't irritate my skin because i have very sensitive skin. Would prefer this than powder or mousse blusher. I love it! I wonder if Benetint gives a similar effect or better?

great product, but girls the best lip stain that will not budge for DAYS is red food dye!!! put a small amount on a qtip and evenly line your lips. if you want a pinker color, dilute with a small amount of water or hylauronic acid. it doesn't dry your lips at all and fades fairly evenly. i applied it last night, had a shower, cleaned my teeth and woke up with the color still there, only slightly faded. food dye is safe to apply and dirt cheap. you can also mix equal parts of red and yellow and then add small amounts of blue to make brown. adding more blue will make it darker.this can be used for eye liner (not the waterline). i tried this method, not to save money, but to have a long lasting lip stain and it works. the lip stain lasts for nearly 24 hours, the brown as an eyeliner not so long.

This is the first lip stain I bought. Got it due to the amazing reviews here, but it did NOT live up to the hype. Does not stay either as a lipstain or as a blush. On one hand, it can't wash off with water, but it fades throughout the day (sweat? oil?) and it is always gone after I eat. So I have to keep re-applying it. Compared to other lip stains I have since bought, the body shop's lip stain is the poorest at staying power. However, yes, nice pretty rosy colour, but it looks almost gaudy on me because it is too bright on my slightly tanned skin.

My first stain. It left a pretty barely-there rosy colour on my cheeks, it's very sheer and buildable so I can control how obvious it is. I took a lippy off since I'm not sure about it on my two-toned lips. It stains the bottom but not the top and the strong berry colour makes me look a bit like a child who has had too much Ribena.

Edit: I just wanted to update this to express how much I love this product. I always have a problem with lipglosses and lipsticks, they are usually respectively either underwhelming or overwhelming on me, and as I'm a lipbiter and liplicker who loves food and is usually too lazy to reapply, a lipstain is already a friend. And I love this as a lipcolour too, I now just dab a bit on the middle of my lip and spread it to give them a gorgeous raspberry colour that isn't overwhelming.

I am also usually too lazy to wear makeup generally, on the average day I'll go barefaced - but I now sometimes incorporate this into my routine. I barely even consider this product as makeup, its pretty much on the level of moisturizer to me as its effortless, easy, takes seconds and has a totally natural look, but takes it all to the next level. A bland face is given an instant uplift, spark and flavor without you quite being able to put your finger on what changed. I love it, this is HG material.

I've been looking for a lip stain that wouldn't be too dark, but still had some color to it. I bought this lip and cheek stain and I love it! It's buildable so I can control the intensity of the color. Definitely a good buy.

This is the stain that I keep in my purse. I have tons that I keep around, but this is by far my favorite (including Benetint). The red color is much brighter and suits me a lot better than Benetint, which is more of a deeper and rosier red. The packaging is perfect! It's not messy, it's easy to use, and easy to transport (unlike Benetint). This is just all around BETTER :)

I. Love. This. Product.

I am of southasian descent so my skin is olive-medium with some yellow undertones. I use this on my lips and it looks sooo great. It provides a nice rosy hue and when topped with clear chapstick and kept on for a few minutes it looks extremely natural. I have tried to use it on my cheeks but have not been as successful with it because it doesn't look too bright on my complexion. Perhaps because I'm afraid of putting on too much at once so I'm light-handed with it. It doesn't matter...I just replenished my stock even though the first 1 is not out but The Body Shop had a BOGO sale. I always wanted the Benefit Benetint but figured I would try out this before investing in an expensive product like that...well....to me I don't even care to switch over. This, mac studiofix concealer, kohl eyeliner, and mascara...and that's all I need to survive!

I originally bought this to use as a lip stain, but I never use it for that any more. Somehow it ends up looking patchy. But as a cheek stain, LOVE IT! It blends wonderfully and gives a perfect natural rosy glow. Doesn't dry out or irritate my skin either. I'm on my second tube and will definitely buy more.

I like the idea of stains because they look more natural than lipstick and are longer lasting, I hate re-applying anything. I was lusting over the Benitint from Benefit but it was too expensive. I bought the Body Shop version instead and fell in love. I have no pigmentation on my lips and when I put this on it gives me the lips I wish I had. It is not red on me, it is a dark rose, almost fushia color but a natural color. I love how long lasting it is, I love how it fades, I also love how it goes on my cheeks (it gives a flush that gives me life!). With all the positives, it gave me the incentive to buy the Benefit one, but I went for PosieTint in order to try a different color. Well...I like the Body Shop one much better. I never reach for the PosieTint which is really too bad because I paid 40$. it just sits in my drawer since I bought it 2 years ago. I have repurchased the Body Shop stain over and over for the past 3 years, I have never been without it and it is the only item I have in my purse. To me, this product is as important as mascara.

I loved this product. Just what I've been looking for all these years! I've always loved red lips, and I've tried a range of red lip glosses and red lipstick... most of them look too dramatic or dryed my lips out --- I have very sensitive lips, yet there was not much irritation with this product. Using them on my cheeks also gave me a very natural blush.
Wonderful.
Oh, also, prior to this, i used Maybelliene's Just Bitten and they hurt my lips... although they had a nice colour.

Ive tried Benefits Benetint and this is much better in my opinion and is MUCH cheaper. The color is sheer and gives you enough time to work with. Gives a nice glowy color, lasts long. Easy packaging but make sure to cap it tight.

This is my first lip/cheek stain. I've wanted one for a long, long time because of the raves about Benefit's Benetint, but that one is just too pricey and unaccessible for me. Luckily the Body Shop is way cheaper for me, and thet have a store in my town, so I got this, and I don't regret it the slightest little bit!
There is nothing I don't like about this product. It looks natural and pretty, has amazing packaging, lasts all day, doesn't dry out like I thought it would, has no scent, doesn't dry before you get a chance to blend it out and it's affordable. Don't hesitate to get this!

I love this stain! I find that this is actually a very sheer colour once applied to cheeks or lips. It stays on all day, especially on my cheeks and gives me that beautiful rosy glow, and it did not break me out. I love this on my lips as well! It didn't make my skin dry because glycerin is listed as one of the ingredients, very unlike other stains. Also, it applies very evenly because of its gel formula and the doe foot applicators. Other stains resemble markers or Benefit's Benetint, which has the same applicator as a nail polish. It is so good, I am still on my first tube and I already bought my second one! When I use up all my second one (didn't open it yet...ha!), I will definitely repurchase.
