My favorite mascara!
Great for sensitive eyes like mine. Does just as good of a job as any other drugstore/high end mascara.
Packaging is gorgeous! And it smells wonderful! Like berries. "Regular" mascara smell has always bothered me, smells like toxic waste. Yuck.
Great formula and brush. Wonderful black-black color.
Wonderful, healthy, guilt free mascara.
I will be buying again! :)

I've tried several natural/organic mascaras and this one takes the cake! The brush is almost identical to Almay's Get Up and Grow, which is a bristle brush with a slight hourglass shape. I find it works very well for my long but sparse lashes.
The formulation is on the dry side (which I prefer) and is very black. I'm hesitant to say it's almost TOO dry, but it does a really good job of adding volume. I normally have to do one coat over my base coat mascara and I'm good to go.
My only complaint is that it flakes.

I purchased two. One for my teen daughter and one for me. This mascara smells very nice, is packaged very nice, but gives barely any love to eyelashes. Let's face it, organic or not, the reason one has mascara is to show off her eyelashes, whether it be a flirty natural look or a flirty dramatic look. This mascara barely does its job. I would not buy it again.

I really like the idea all natural products and the ingredients list on this one is just fantastic. Unfortunately it's one of the worst mascaras I've ever tried. I have naturally long and thick lashes, But they're not very dark so I use mascara To give them color and help with the unruliness (My lashes and to curb the other way around and to get in my eyes). This mascara barely coats the lashes and Has zero staying power. Even the dollar store mascara or an elf mascara does a way better job than this one. It was therefore a total waste of money, I'll Keep on searching for a natural or almost natural mascara So that I can keep my eyelashes healthy.

This stuff is very basic for a mascara. i say this because i have the typical stubby asian lashes, and this lengthens my lashes a bit. Of course its not gonna give me super lashes but it does the job. My biggest gripes are it flakes and smudges easily. I dont have to rub my eyes for me to get black streaks under my eyes. so big disappointment. Will have to try another mascara that doesnt do this.

I have this in black tea. It doesn't really lengthen, volumize or hold a curl... only defines, which is nice if you want a natural look. However, since I have stick straight Asian lashes, I ALWAYS end up with smudges under my eyes. It's quite noticeable, not like a light shadow. I know this is not waterproof, but there are better natural mascaras (Gabriel Cosmetics mascara) out there that aren't waterproof and don't smudge. I gave it a rating of 2 because I like the packaging, but other than that, it's quite useless for me.

I purchased the Blueberry color in this mascara, love the smell of it! Its a great mascara, definitly lengthens my lashes. I just wish I would have purchased a darker color, I need something that really darkens my very blonde eyelashes. I now use it on those days I don't wear much makeup. Overall love the mascara.

I have this in Blackberry. This is the first time in my life that I’ve bought a mascara that wasn’t black, brown-black, or dark navy. I decided that I wanted to try a mascara that was purplish, because I’d heard that color will really “pop” green eyes. I didn’t want anything *bright* purple, though, because 1)I’m 48 years old, and 2)That’s just not my style. The mascara had to be from a cruelty-free company, be available online, and be reasonably priced.
100% Pure’s mascara in Blackberry seems just right. It’s cruelty-free, smells good, applies smoothly, and is a very wearable dark blackish purple. Dramatic, it isn’t, and the formula is on the dry side, but it goes on with minimal clumping, and lengthens nicely. It wears fairly well on my very oily skin, though it does flake a bit, after several hours.
I like the small, narrow brush, and the vine-decorated metal tube. The color is probably going to look black to the casual observer, but, especially worn on bottom lashes only (with black on upper lashes), there’s a very subtle hint of purple that does really emphasize my eye color. I also like to wear this on upper lashes, as kind of a primer under black mascara.
At $18, this is on the pricey side, for mascara, but it’s rather unique, and in my opinion, worth it.
I plan to buy it again.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, this turned out to not wear so well on me; by the end of the day, I had pretty bad purple raccoon eyes, which is not a good look for me. I'll use this tube, but I won't re-purchase. I'm going to try Blinc's purple mascara, instead.

I have this in black tea, and actually do notice a "tea" smell to it. However I wasn't impressed (and I Reaallly wanted to Love it too!). It didn't coat my lashes smoothly. I'd describe the formula more as a "defining" mascara...not great at thickening, not great at lengthening, but your lashes definitely will look more defined. See close up image of the brush....I think they could improve on that, maybe then the formula would work better.
I'd recommend taking your time in making sure the formula dried before stepping out. A couple times in the morning when i thought I was ready to leave, I caught some smudged debris on my eyelid from where the mascara had touched it and rubbed off.
I (stubbornly?) have faith this could still work somehow, so I'll be trying their blackberry next.

I love this mascara. The scent is absolutely glorious. It lasts forever. The application is perfect. It does not flake. It is everything a basic mascara should be.
.
The ingredients are surprisingly natural and simple, and even good for the lashes!
.
The only reason I give this a 4 instead of a 5 is because the brush could be better. But I've found it is nearly impossible to match the perfect mascara with the perfect brush.
.
Overall, this is my go-to mascara and I dig it.

but they're all 100% real!! i love it thats how long this mascara makes them
doesn't clump or flake
no smell really either atleast i havn't noticed
goes on so easy and smooth
the brush is the best!!!
it stays on most of the day
might have to re-apply if your going to wear it for more then 8 hours
comes off so easy when you wash your face
i use all 100% pure products I will write reviews on the other products in their categories

I bought this mascara in blackberry (I am eternally on the search for the perfect purple-tinted mascara) and for a brief moment I thought I'd finally found the HG of purple/plum mascaras. Upon opening the tube I found what appeared to be exactly the smokey purple color I wanted, a surpisingly pleasant scent (I imagine it just smells like the fruit it's pigmented with) and a very functional brush with shorter bristles (which makes it easier for me to apply right down to the lashline - a must on my very pale lashes). Acceptable ingredients list, cute (albeit plastic, but oh well) packaging.
Applying the mascara the following day: it was sticky, a bit too thick and difficult to apply. It kind of hurt like I was pulling at my lashes a bit, actually. I ended up with a sheer coat of pigment and wore that to work. Halfway to work my eyes started itching/burning like something was in them - I assumed it was dust since I walk/bike to work, but when I arrived and inventisgated via bathroom mirror, it was a bunch of tiny purpl-ish mascara flakes. I cleaned them up, blaming the wind, but continued to experience more and more flakes all night - until the mascara was almost totally gone which was about 6 hours into my shift.
Next day, I applied some oil to my lashes first. This helped the application process immensely, but a few hours later the oil had dried and the flaking began again.
Day 3: I put a few drops of vitamin e oil in the mascara PLUS a bit on my lashes as a base. This made for an easy application and I was actually able to layer for added color without much effort. It also lasted a bit longer, but still flaked regularly enough that my eyes were constantly irritateded almost through my work shifts. I would have given up here probably, but I didn't have any other mascaras and I do not go in public with my invisible lashes.
Kept it up for about a week with a bit of oil as a base, then the mascara+vitE mixture. This combo made it seem possible to use this mascara at least until it was gone - until my eyelashes started falling out! There are no ingredients in the 100% Pure mascara that I am sensitive to, so I don't think the product itself caused my lashes to fall out - I think it was just the daily effort of applying a too-thick, too-dry mascara to my lashes in a rather harsh and violent manner.
BOTTOM LINE: I've heard good things from others, so perhaps this can work for you too. I will not be buying this again as it clearly does not work for me.

Really good product if you don't want to use it all day, very pigmented, good enough for my uses.

This is a really good mascara. I find that a lot of "natural" mascaras seem to have one or two ingredients that are not so natural so I was impressed with the ingredients on this. I got the colour black tea and I love it. I love the brush and I think people just need to practice more with it and get a feel for it. It took me a few times to get my eyelashes the way I wanted them. However, a bit bigger brush would be nicer. This mascara made my eyelashes very long and separated. It does tend to crust off easily but only if you constantly rub your eye or are touching the eye area. It smells like fruit, almost like blueberries. I paid $24 for this in Canada so it was a bit more than I wanted to pay, but I will definitely repurchase!

I bought this in the Dark Chocolate and Blackberry colors, in regular and mini size respectively. I found the Dark Chocolate to be so-so. The color is blacker than I'd hoped for, more like a soft black than brown. Ironically my black-brown drugstore mascaras aren't as black. Also, it's hard to apply evenly and the finish is very matte. My favorite finish is Clinique's Naturally Glossy, but even drugstore mascaras are less matte than this one. And I HATED the brush for the regular size mascara. It's flat on one side and round on the other, and seems to create clumps. Not sure why they didn't just use a round brush since the rounder side works better.
On the other hand, I like the Blackberry color a lot, and much prefer the mini tube which has a regular brush. The Blackberry is a dark purple which looks fairly dark on the lashes but is not as dark or as matte as the Dark Chocolate formula. I probably won't buy it again, just because I always wear eyeshadow and brown liner so the color of this gets lost. But for someone who wears only mascara, this is pretty and would accentuate the eye color.
I'm sorry I didn't like this because it's a nice, natural product but it didn't work well for me. If you try it, I do recommend the mini tubes over the full size.

After using other mascaras that irritated my eyes, I decided to give 100 Percent Pure mascara in black tea a try. I like the brush, it really separates my eyelashes and adds length and color. It stays on well all day, and is my new HG mascara! Does not irritate my eyes, and I like the look. I would also be interested in a thickening mascara from 100 Percent Pure, but at this point they don't have one and this one satisfies me enough that I will buy it again.

I have had this product for about a week and so far i like it. i got it in black tea and the full size bottle. the packaging is pretty and cute. it does a good job at lengthing and volumizing as long as its is built up, 3-4 strokes will do. i really like how with this product you can achieve a natural look(1-2 strokes) and you can keep building it. a suggestion would be then when building it dont give it a chance to dry, so dont skip around, just continuously build each set of lashes. also this product has a blueberry scent which is a nice odd surprise lol. the pigment of this product is also very good, just as dark as lacomes mascaras. this mascara had a good brush its quite stiff but works well and is clump-free, personally i have long lashes and need volume more then anything and so i like more flexxy brushes but this one does a good job for not being flexxy, i tend to reach for the colossal mascara, i like those types of brushes. anyways it last almost all day. to remove i use EVOO and it gone real easy. i love how natural it is, iv recently replaced all my products with truly organic and natural brand, beware ladies and gents, there are many brands out there that are not truly as natural as they say. always research and that way you know what your paying for. the fact that this is now one of my favorite mascaras and happens to be all natural is a dream. this is a bit pricey, id say my only complant about this prouduct is the amount you get, like its a normal size mascara .32 oz but when pumping it it does seem to be that much product. maybe its not ment to give to much product on the brush at one time. but that would be the only change id want, normally id say im being picky of the amount you get but this is a $18 purchase, and for some one on a budget i just want it to last for the 3 months i expect from mascaras.

I have tried an array of natural/organic mascaras, including Paul Penders, jane Iredale, Lavera, Logona, Elysambre, Living Nature, Inika, Honeybee Gardens, and 100 % Pure is the best of them all. There some decent ones in the mentioned bunch, but this is by far the best. I see no negatives of it, starting with clean, trustworthy ingredients, through beautiful navy blue, glossy colour, to the easy gliding application, professional brush, and finally elegant, show- worthy packaging. Before I converted to organics 8 yeras ago I was a junkie for YSL Faux Cils Effet Mascara, and never thought I am going to find something just as good, bar the nasty chemicals. I just got a 8 piece make up set from 100 % Pure as a birthday present for a friend. I am confident she will love it just as much as I do!!!

I got this in a set from Hautelook and I waited months for my other mascaras to finish before trying this. I love natural cosmetics and only use natural skincare products but am still having trouble with replacing certain cosmetic pieces, especially waterproof mascara. This of course is not waterproof, but it does have nice packaging and came with my set. I tend to layer this about three times to get a nice effect. It does not get too clumpy and seems to do a good job of lengthening and volumizing. My lashes are pretty pathetic so it might do better for others. I don't notice any particular scent when I use it. It doesn't really hold a curl since it is not waterproof. The brush is really nice. I really like but am not sure I would pay full price for it if I were to purchase it again. If I run out of my foundation or tinted moisturizer and the set is on sale again, then I would definitely like to have it again.
