I've been using the whole Skin Genesis line for a few years, and I'm really happy with the results. I get compliments on my skin all the time, and I don't think there's any better measure than results that are visible to other people. This moisturizes well for my combination skin all year round. I don't have any problems with breakouts beyond the normal hormonal stuff, and I don't notice any of the sparkly effect that seems to bother others.

I got a sample of this and to be honest I did not think this would be anything worthwhile. But honestly I have actually been impressed with this. The scent of this is beautiful. It reminds me of the fancy expensive department store creams. This smooths on easily, sinks into my skin quickly, and includes a great SPF. I liked that my skin did not seem to get too oily using this. I actually think this is thick enough for the winter while still being light enough for the warmer months. This is really a great product and I plan on purchasing this.

I'm on my second bottle of this product.

I have skin which is normally moderately to very oily but I am prone to dry flaky patches also.

I normally wear foundation every day but since using this product I haven't been wearing it, only when I want to wear a full makeup (blush, full eye makeup etc). My skin feels wonderful. This product smells lovely but there is also a "gentle" (low fragrance) version. Yes it is mildly sparkly but I love sparkle in my products.

My skin feels lovely all day and doesn't get as oily.

Packaging is great, looks nice in the bathroom/bedroom, and effective at keeping the product non-gross.

Overall 10/10 no complaints here.

This is an incredible product! I honestly cannot stop raving about it because it actually works.
I am usually really skeptical regarding most of these products, but this one delivers. It wasn't oily--which is a good thing for me because I have oily skin.

So, yeah, I love it. :-)

I really like this product and have bought three bottles so far. Because I use a lot of benzoil peroxide on my face, I add jojoba oil to my moisturizer so I can't comment on the dry tight feeling some others are experiencing. For me this is a very nice moisturizer that's not tool oily and has spf (a must for me.) It smells nice, I love the pump dispenser and my skin feels great after applying. I would recommend trying this lotion if you want a light lotion with spf. I haven't noticed the "skin strenghtening" benefits, but I'm not exactly sure what that would look like (?) Wish it weren't so expensive, especially for a d/s brand - but I do like it.

No. No. No. Expensive for DS. Clogs pores! Barely moisturizes. Sparkles all over skin that does NOT cause a luminous glow under makeup. Balls up very, very bad under makeup and especially under primer. Did nothing for elasticity or anything else it claimed - I even tried to stick with it a couple of months battling through the pore clogging. The only thing good about this stuff is the fragrance (which could also be a bad thing to someone who is sensitive to fragrance) and the pump.

Wow.. I thought this could be worn under makeup as a nice luminous base but boy was i wrong! This moisturizer did nothing for me. When i put it on, my skin feels moisturized for two minutes and then begins to feel tight, dry and uncomfortable. I wore it today for the last time! It made my face feel sooooo DRY that i thought my make-up would crack if i smiled. A waste of money.

This has been my daily moisturizer for the past couple of years. I like that it has sunscreen (although I wish the SPF were 30 instead of 15) and the pump packaging keeps the product fresh. This lotion has a bit of shimmer in it to reflect the light. It suits my combination skin pretty much year round, although in winter from time to time I do need something a little heavier on dry patches.

It is pricey for a drugstore brand so I try to use coupons when I can, stock up when on sale, and use my CVS ExtraBucks.

In terms of moisturizing, this was great. It left my skin hydrated and helped my make up glide on effortlessly. Then the break out occurred. I had pimples under my jawline pretty badly after I started using this, which doesn't happen very often. Another gripe is the bottle, you can't see how much is left in there because it is opaque.

The sparkles arn't really noticeable. If your skin isn't acne prone, then I say give it a try. But if you suffer from acne at all, skip it.

This is sold as 'Derma Genesis' in the UK.
I had high expectations of this product. Airtight packaging, good SPF, and a whole lot of hype. However, it's awful - it just does not do what it should, which is moisturise!

The pump works well and dispenses a reasonable amount of product. The smell is clinical but fades quickly on the skin. At first application, it sank right in and my skin felt softened, but tight. After an hour my skin felt so dry, and hot, it was as if I'd washed with soap and not put any moisturiser on at all!

I also tried this over a serum to give a moisture boost and if anything had a worse reaction. My skin was stinging and looked rough and irritated. The product is also full of large shimmer particles, making me look sparkly which I hate.

This is expensive for a 'drugstore' product, about £14. Nothing to recommend it except the packaging - don't waste your money!

Moisturizing enough for my combination/dry skin. Has a slightly funny odor but not offensive or bad enough to stop using. I might actually repurchase this if it is on sale but probably not for the full retail price.

It has never made me break out but then I usually only break out once a month anyway.

well, after i have try many brands and expensive most of them, and didnt see what i was waiting for to my skin,i tried by fortune this one, loreal genesis day spf 15 cream. Its really unexcpectally the best.My skin after 2-3 weeks using that,is really smooth, firmer, soft, bright and hydratated.I cant see anymore a small soft line on my forehead and generally everybody have seen a change on my skin.It seems so healthy and really now i can see that it has been again in the best condition like on my 20 s.And i am saying that ,believe me,after tasting many other very expensive brands which on top of it made my skin break down.It contains also spf 15 which is very good too for the skins protection.I like the packaging because doesnt allow the product loose antiaging ingredients. Its simly the best and has very good price.

Bleah... This made me break out after only two uses. It feels like a mask after it dries. It does make my skin super smooth to the touch but I don't feel any hydrating properties. In fact, I've been noticing my lips feel really dehydrated after I put this on. I also have been noticing some added redness and warmth to my face so I think there may be some irritating product in it. I didn't experience the pilling of makup others have experienced but this is certainly just a *meh* product, especially for the steep price! This is going back to the store.

I've been using for about 3 months now. I'm pleased with it. Does it's job, doesn't break me out (: I, personally, like the smell and it's a little shimmery without OVERshimmering. Will buy again

I've used this in combo witht he night version and it's been the only change in my routine for the last three weeks or so. I like and dislike this product as it's been both good and bad.
PRO:
It really evened out my skin tone and left my skin feeling all soft and smooth. I was happy about the sunscreen included.
CONS:
It balled up when I put my makeup on, made me break out more, dried my skin out in weird places (forehead and cheeks) and has a very strong perfume/chemical smell.
Sorry guys, wont be using this again....next!

I was very let down by this product. It smells bad, it's pasty, and it has mica in it so it leaves a glittery residue on your face. gross.

I bought this on a whim while at walgreenes, and I am glad I did! I bought the fragrance free kind which is fantastic! I am rather surprised at the negative reviews. I have not had any "pilling" issues with this product. I feel that this has definitely evened out my complexion and my skin definitely appears smoother after only a few uses! I am very pleased with this prodcut!
However, with that said, I was dissapointed with a few things...that its only spf 15 (i would have prefered spf 30 at least). It also does not have stable sunscreen ingredients, which is another bummer. So overall, while I like this product, I don't think I will be getting the day moisturizer again. (I found biore dual pump something or the other which is much better as far as sun protection goes). However, I think I will be getting the Night lotion instead as I do like this line as far as skin appearance promises go.
