I had wanted to try this product since I had heard of it, when I finally bought the product, it was the best mascara I had ever used. It elongates my lashes without clumping them together. They stay up all day and do not fade off like some of the mascaras I have used. I have not found myself to stop purchasing this product because I am in love with the great results it gives me. I however have recently paired it with the telescopic waterproof mascara by loreal, but the cover girl lash blast volume alone will do the trick!!!!

It's my first time using Cover Girl product. But it's the third mascara I bought. First I tried Oriflame which is awful. Clumps everywhere. The second is Maybelline Unstoppable Mascara. It was good, but after a while it started to clump from its tube. The third is Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara (Very Black). It works like a charm! It makes my lashes look longer and thick. And my favorite part is there's no clump at all. The brushes are firm and it shape my lashes perfectly. I'm so gonna buy this again and I would like to try another Cover Girl's products.

This is a great everyday mascara. It's not too dramatic, but not too natural. The only thing I did not like about this mascara was that it did not lengthen as much as I'd like. I have short, thin, and light brown eyelashes. Using this mascara my eyelashes were darker and thicker, which I loved! No raccoon eyes and washes easy. Doesn't hold a curl for very long, but I don't have stick straight eyelashes, so it wasn't a problem for me. My all time favorite mascara is maybelline colassol (sorry about the spelling). It gives me dramatic feathery looking eyelashes!

I am a mascara JUNKIE! So its really hard to impress me. I am not a HUGE fan of cover girl, but I wanted to find a new everyday drug store mascara, that works well. After reading some reviews and being convinced to try it, I went out and got it and I have been using for a few days now. Here are some of my thoughts:
Lashblast is a fiber mascara (not a huge fan of fiber based mascaras), which makes it very easy to remove. Despite easy removal, it hasnt smudged, flaked off and I have not ended up with racoon eyes at all (which is usually what happens with fiber based mascaras). Everything stayed put as it should. This is a great mascara if you use about two coats or three really quick coats–if you work slowly on each coat, you’ll end up with clumps all over the place (i learned this while being rushed in the morning and then later on being able to take my time before going out on the town). It didn’t seem prone to clumping so much as it dries quickly. When it’s dried, my lashes didn’t feel heavy or crunchy, and they still looked like they had a natural softness to them (which is good because i hate those stiff fake heavy lashes...)
I think what left me less than impressed with this mascara is that the effect is too on the natural side, which isn’t what LashBlast seems to be about nor is it the reason a woman even wears mascara. It gives some length, a little volume (I didn’t notice much myself), and tiny bit of thickening–but it doesn’t do any of these with any va-voom which is what I had hoped for. Another failed cover girl mascara. However i would reccomend this to any woman who wants a mascara that looks like she has nothing on at all, and is going for that ultra natural look. At $10 per bottle, I will stick to my go-to lorel voluminous mascara as this never disappoints!

I have nothing bad to say about this mascara! I've tried several higher end brands since I first got this. This performs better than most high end brands imo.It works great for me for a natural look or with a smokey eye. I also use Essence's Volumizing Lash Powder on occasion and have tried several different mascaras to see which works well with it. I've found that this mascara is the absolute best to pair with EVLP. I saw this on display at Walgreen's and had to get it again (4th time!) It doesn't flake and gives great volume as well as length. Also, since the brush head is orange, it is easy to see when you're about to run out and it is time to repurchase.

Pros: -Lasts a long time for me
-Doesn't flake (ever)
-Very buildable
-The black (only one I've tried) is a very pigmented jet black
-pretty cheap
-can tell when you're running out due to orange brush head
-volumizing AND lengthening (rare to have both)
-easy to remove
-doesn't smudge

Cons:
-seems to not hold a curl very well

I think the pros far outweigh the cons here! ;)

I have been using this mascara for as long as I could remember. I have pretty long lashes except not too full. This mascara definitely gives the appearance of fuller lashes. This is one of the few make up products that I have bought over and over. I highly recommend it. If you try it and don't like it, at least you didn't spend a fortune on it.

I can't really say anything that hasn't already been said about this product. This is the most buildable mascara I've ever tried; I could layer this stuff all day long and it would look great. Beautiful volume, pretty good length. Don't notice any smudges/flaking with this, but it's easy to take off. Love love love!

This is the only mascara I have bought more than once. I've tried SO many - Lancome (pretty much all), Clinique, Smashbox, L'oreal Voluminous, Benefit BadGal, Maybelline Falsies, a bunch of the other Covergirl formulas, the list goes on. With new mascaras coming out all the time, it's hard not to get tempted. But I keep coming back to this one. I've tried blue, black and brown. While brown might be a bit too natural for some, I think it would be great for blondes or anyone who wants a look that's work appropriate and natural. My preference is blue. It really makes my light brown eyes pop! And doesn't look blue somehow. This stuff never flakes, holds curl and very best of all, washes off easily. No raccoon eyes, ever! If you're going for a false lash effect and don't care about messy lids or getting it off at night, this won't give you that effect. For a non-fuss, everyday look that's buildable if you want it to be- this is the best!

I bought waterproof. This is more volumizing than the Clump Crusher mascara that covergirl makes. It is also very waterproof if I went to the pool with it, but it still would smudge on the corners of my eyes because my eyelashes touch my face when I smile. The color I bought was also very black which is nice.

I love this mascara! It lengthens and it gives you volume. This is the first mascara I ever used and I still use it! I have been using it for three or four years. It is my HG mascara.

This is the only mascara I bought more than once. I loved the way it made my lashes look full. A little bit clumpy but my lashes are unruly to begin with. However since a few months ago it seems like this mascara has a different formula because it makes my lashes look just ok. I now have bought something new to try unfortunately.

I don't get the hype surrounding this product! I found that it defined my lashes, which is why I gave it 2 stars, but it also clumped and didn't add much volume. It was difficult to remove, which is a pet peeve of mine. I had to add several coats in order to get the desired effect, but it would take three or four minutes to remove all of it.

I usually use Maybelline mascara but have been enjoying cover girl lately so I thought I'd give it a try!
Overall pretty happy with it I love the thick brush. I have very long lashes but they are thin and alot of mascaras that promise volume never deliver. But thanks to this wonderful brush I have volume!
The only drawback with the brush is that because its so large there is alot of room for screw ups. I'm always ending up with mascara on the side of my nose lol. Also it's not a great mascara for bottom lashes cause it makes a huge mess. So for my bottom I just use NYC sky high mascara. The thin brush is perfect for that. I purchased the lash blast is waterproof which I won't do again cause its so hard to get off. Another thing that bothers me which is extremely ridiculous on my part is I hate the fact that the tube is orange lol I know how picky of me but I'm big on packaging colour lol.
Definitely will repurchase in non waterproof. :) xo

I love this mascara! It has an amazing brush, and an amazing formulation. It makes my lashes thick and long, but it takes a while. That's why I gave this mascara a 4 out of a 5 because you have to use so much to have longer/thicker lashes, also because it tends to flake at the end of the day, but nothing major. I love this mascara and have been through multiple tubes of it. I will probably repurchase again, and again.

Not perfection- it flakes sometimes. I wear the blackest black waterproof. I always end up coming back to this one though- I haven't found one better.

My lashes are long but sparse, so I bought this after seeing all the rave reviews on here. It's just my luck that what works for so many people doesn't work for me...
I don't know if I got a bad batch or something, but when I used this version of Lash Blast and Lash Blast Fusion a while back, the results were always the same: amazing results - my lashes looked dramatic, long and absolutely no clumps (the lash separation with this mascara is incredible). BUT these results would only happen the first 3 or 5 times I use it, then after that, my lashes would never look the same. It didn't even look average, it just looked bleh. WHY :( so sad. It never happens to any of my other mascaras...Oh, and this smells awful. I never thought of myself as sensitive to smells and fragrances but I always felt a little sick whenever I was using this.

I'm sure this goes for a lot of us on MUA, but I'm addicted to mascara. Always trying the newest ones, going back to old favorites. Every time I find a good mascara, I want to find one that tops it. No matter how many I try, I come back to this classic. This product has been reviewed over 4,000 times so I won't rave too much, but when I apply it, all I'm left with are long lashes with crazy volume, but separation at the same time. I get no clumps, flakes or smudges. Okay, I'm starting to sound like a commercial but really, it looks like I'm wearing fake lashes with only a few coats, and it's also buildable. Let me say that naturally my eyelashes are short, stubby and thin so they need as much help as possible. I've repurchased numerous times and will keep coming back.

I didn't like this mascara because I like really voluminous long lashes and in order for me to get to that stage using this mascara, I have to apply a ton of coats. It gets clumpy and flaky. I only like how easily the mascara removes, some mascara really sticks to my lashes.

I like this mascara alot. It separates my lashes really nicely and it lengthens very well. I feel it works best when I use another mascara with it. I get the best results this way, but its a good drugstore mascara, better than some high-end products I've tried.
