Iced Mocha, Strawberry Milk, and Yogurt are MUST HAVES. I do like the ideas of potting the product and freezing the pencils to sharpen them so they don't crumble. I love my Maybelline color tattoos but after seeing how easy an eye can be made up with a shadow stick or two, I decided to try these out, since I was actually able to use them before I got them. Late in the game because I like to try things in store and I just couldn't with other brands. Best purchase in a long time, I am obsessed. Although NYX calls these jumbo eyeliners.. whatever that means.. I obviously use them as shadow sticks, which are good enough for newbies and beauty junkies alike. These are my first but I have a feeling the formula can hang with the best of them. Do not get the eyeshadow base, it sucks, it is drying and I used it on one eye and it was flaky as hell even before I applied the makeup. The other eye looked very nice with nothing under it but sunscreen and BB cream (yea on my lids I only tear up if I don't blink for a long time). Normally my reviews are long but there's just not much you need to know about these. Yogurt and Iced Mocha make good on a neutral day, but I like Yogurt and Strawberry Milk because it brought out the color in my lips.

My favorite lip products I have been using are Almay's color + care "lip balms" (they look like stubby glosses but they perfect my lips like no other I got the colors Nudetrients and Blooming). But as I was trying on NYX cosmetics, I happened to also get two soft matte lip creams. Soft flexible light lip color disguised as a gloss. How ironic I've never been into glosses, but I guess their design betters lipsticks and lip balms! I got the shades Istanbul and Tokyo. Some may only need one or the other since they are so close to each other in color but I loved them both the second I "glossed" the middle of my bottom lip and used my finger to cover the rest. I think Tokyo must be popular because it's the pink leaning toward the nude shades. Istanbul is a tad darker, but that just means it's more pigmented. So your eyes and lips are covered, the rest is up to you!

Also real quick I gotta recommend NYX's pore killer or destroyer whatever it's called. It works.

Only negative to the shadow sticks are the cheapest caps ever. Unused pencils have cracked caps.

Absolutely stunning color!! It's a great base for bronzey smokey eyes - helps make the shadow on your lids much more vivid. This has to be one of my favorite jumbo pencils. I find myself reaching for it a lot. Great product!

Iced Mocha is a shimmery, gold-bronze color (lighter and less orange than their Bronze pencil, and less intense than their Gold.) I use this all over the lid and blend out with a brush--using your fingers just wipes it off. The color is gorgeous, and it does fade throughout the day, but it fades evenly into a lighter version of itself. It does crease a lot, but fixes easily with your fingers or a brush.

I LOVE the jumbo pencil--so easy to use as an all-over lid color, an eyeliner, or to apply very precisely to smaller areas. You CAN sharpen these, which many people don't realize because they don't look like your typical wooden pencil casing--NYX sells a sharpener big enough to accommodate this.

Really wanted to like this, but it does not stay put, even for short periods. I tried it both on its own and with my go-to lid primers, and in all cases, it started to fade/migrate in less than half an hour. The worst part is not the disappearing act, but that of course it doesn't fade uniformly. It vanishes in some areas, and collects in others. Which is too bad because I like the color, and I love how easy it is to apply. My quest continues for a quick, portable eyeshadow application that will stay put.

Iced Mocha is a taupe with silver shimmer. MAC Satin Taupe is similar, but more plummy.
It can be worn all over the lid, paired with other eyeshadows, or as a base. I personally apply it directly to the lid, then blend it out with my fingers, but I know some people like to apply it with a brush. I personally only use a brush if I want to use it as an eyeliner, but either way works.
I lowered the rating because it does crease. The creasing minimizes when I wear Urban Decay Primer Potion and/or MAC Paint Pot or Maybelline Color Tattoo underneath, but I really would prefer not to, and I shouldn't have to. But, as with all cream products, the more product you use, the more it's going to crease.
But nonetheless it lasts a good 6 hours, despite the creasing, and it's great since it costs $4.50 each. I bought mine for $3.40 each from Cherry Culture! It's also DIRT CHEAP considering it has 5 g of product, versus Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencils, that cost $20 for 2.8 g, or even worse, Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks, that cost $24 for only 0.05 g!
Would I repurchase? Yes.

Really love this colour, I really love neutral shades and this is a really nice shade of taupe with a little hint of shimmer, and it makes a nice base for smokey eyes or even worn on its own. It does crease a little bit when it is worn alone but it isn't anything major, plus its a total bargain so you cannot be expected to be total perfection. I have a love of these jumbo pencils and this one and milk are two of my staples that can always be found in my make up bag. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

Super smudge-y ,not good with oily skin, gross texture . Will end up all over your face and your boyfriend's shirts. Too thick. Packaging sucks.. Smudges inside of lid. Melts easily.

I hated this product the first time I tried it. However, the more I played around with it, the more I loved it. It does crease on my eyes even with UDPP on, but it usually won't crease for sevearl hours so I can still get some good use out of it. I like to put it on my lower lash line and smudge it out a little also. It just look really well on my like that. I down rated a little because of the pencil type package, which I know that's what it is meant to be, but I just have a hard time sharpening mine.

Iced Mocha is my go-to eye colour for a sexy no fuss everyday face. The cool toned taupe colour is perfect for brown eyes, and a very creamy (almost moisturising) consistancy means it blends easilly over my lids with my fingertips. The finish is a glossy bronze- I wear it on its own with some black pencil liner, a full brow, & a bit of peach gloss. It makes me feel like a Victoria's Secret model :)

HOWEVER: I have very dry skin. As the other reviews indicate, other skin types might experience some nightmare creasing/ disappearing, unfortunately.

The color and the consistency are both so amazing! It's super easy to apply and it's not TOO jumbo so you can still be precise even without a brush. Iced Mocha is a must have out of all the jumbo eye pencils.

This was the first JEP I bought, and I do like it. When I'm in a hurry, or just going to class, I'll put on my ELF primer, then this as an eyeliner/base/crease color, and then layer Wet n Wild single in nutty, then line with brown eyeliner and mascara and done. It gives me a subtle, sort of dramatic eye without being too much. If I don't use primer and shadow over this it doesn't stay well (I have ridiculously oily eyelids) and it does slightly tug, which is why I gave it a four. It's not awesome, but it's pretty cool, and for the price and relative ease of use, it's something I'll rebuy.

I don't know why I bought this for the second time. I first tried the JEP several years ago with disastrous results. I guess it was the lovely color of Iced Mocha. I don't have a color quite like it, although I guess the closest is probably my MUFE Aqua Eyes #15. The Jumbo Eye Pencils are just too sticky waxy to work for me, even over primer and under powder eyeshadow. My eye makeup will crease within the hour and dissapear completely from the crease area by the end of the day. I'm not exactly a novice and I like to think I know what I'm doing with makeup, so my conclusion is that the JEPs don't work for everyone.

AWESOME cream eyeshadow in stick form. The stick is good to throw in your purse or to take when you travel, but I ended up depotting it, since the plastic lid breaks easily and smooshes the top of the product.

The color is dark brown. I normally place a bit in my crease and blend out with a MAC 224 and top with a similar toned powder, although the staying power is great and it doesn't need the powder. Looks great on the lid for a brown smokey look, too. The price was very cheap about $3-4. I highly recommend these.

It's a good base to use for your neutral eyeshadows. Ever since the maybelline color tattoos came out I don't really use nyx pencils as me go-to base anymore. Regardless it's still a good product, even as a stand-alone color.

I got mine in a pack of 3 on ebay for super cheap (milk, yogurt & iced mocha).

This is a beautiful color! I would call it a darker, cooler version of Urban Decay's "Sidecar." The are smooth and do not crease (at least on me! I've seen other people complaining about this), but you have to really work to get them to stay on for long periods of time. What I've found works best is to start with a primer, use these pencils first, then set with a similarly-colored eyeshadow. When I follow this routine, it seems to work nicely for staying power!

These pencils are very convenient when you don't want to dirty a brush, or just want a quick, no-fuss makeup application in the morning. I recommend them, especially the more muted, natural colors. They're shimmery, but if you're a fan of Urban Decay Naked shadows, or just like shimmery neutrals in general, these will be something fun and different to add to your collection.

I absolutely adore the color of this pencil, it is so pretty for neutral looks! It's similar to MAC's Satin Taupe, but less purple. It blends easily and applies well. But I only gave it three lippies because it has pitiful staying power, even with a primer. I tried several methods to make it last, including two different primers and layering eyeshadow over top, but within a few hours (like 2) it was creased awfully. I would recommend this product for someone with dry skin who doesn't have an issue with oily lids. I really wish this product had more staying power because I absolutely love the color and would use it almost every day.

I'm Asian, NC 30 w/yellow undertones.
Iced Mocha is a combo of cool taupe/silver/bronze/plum. Very similiar to Mac Satin Taupe. First the PROS: beautiful color, creamy, easy to apply (for me, it lasts longer with UDPP), pigmented and cheap. Now the CONS: takes a while to dry but I do feel some slight creaminess/stickiness on my lids all day, average length of wear (even w primer), difficult to line eyes afterwards because of the creaminess from product, CREASES! I've NEVER had a problem with cream/pencil e/s creasing). This was the biggest dissapointment and it transfers my eyeliner to the crease-so not cute!
FYI-Laura Mercier Caviar eye sticks are AMAZING but they don't have a color similiar to Iced Mocha and they cost $24 compared to NYX $3.50.

This my 2nd favorite of the bases .I like this cooler toned brown and I love this as a base under plenty of looks not just the neutral ones under pink shadows is so pretty. You can't wear this on this own it needs a shadow over top but it doesn't need a primer underneath which is great..\the lid is very cheap and allows you to push it all the way inside damaging the pencil itself so be careful when closing it.
