IF YOU HAVE ACNE AND DO NOT HAVE THIS PRODUCT GO BUY IT RIGHT NOW!!! seriously, I have been dealing with mild to moderate acne for years. This stuff is my makeup savior. I never go anywhere without it. When i get breakouts, i use this over my foundation to cover up any bumps, red spots, zits, or acne marks. It covers better than anything else I have ever used!!!! I don't know what i would do without it. It is oil-free (obviously since it's a powder) and doesn't seem to make my break outs any worse, just covers them up really well. I am very pale and the lightest shade matches my skin tone perfectly. This is probably the only product that I could not live without and my favorite product I own. If you have not tried this stuff, you are missing out!!

I just bought this product last night because I was in CVS looking at all their cosmetic products that were on 50 - 75% off sale. I'm a freelance makeup artist and its a good time to see if there is anything I would like to add to my kit.

I saw this and picked it up to check the ingredients.. I avoid TALC at all cost! When I saw that this product was talc free I decided to try it, I mean why not, it's half off and I'm always up for trying new products.

I tried it this morning on the couple odd blemishes that I have had, so technically they are scar/scabs (yuck, sorry) and this covered them up like a DREAM! Way more than I expected when I opened up the container this morning!!

I got to work and immediately began reading reviews on this! The majority of them are great, which doesn't surprise me! This stuff has really impressed me so far, granted I've only had it on for 3 hours... but with all the great reviews, I have high hopes that it will continue to be great.

I wear this as a spot concealer over my BM foundation (fairly light)
It covers everything I need to cover! I didn't use it under my entire eye for dark circles, jut in the inner corner because that is where I get darkest. It has done a good job of brightening that area!

The most impressive part is how it covers the spots I had that needed to be concealed... I didn't expect it to have that much coverage. I bought the shade 'Light' and it works perfectly with my Fairly Light BM foundation.

I am going to buy more today at CVS while everything is still 1/2 off!
Even buying a couple extra for some friends I recommended it to and some for my kit!

The only reason I didn't give this product a 5 is the packaging... its actually not that terrible.. its really quite convenient that it comes with a brush, that isn't too terrible.. i've used worse!
The only con is how much comes out in the top and it can be messy. I think I am going to put it in a different container.. probably an old BM foundation container! (I knew I could find use for those ;))

Age: 30-35   Skin: Very Oily, Fair, Warm   Hair: Brunette, Curly, Medium   Eyes: Brown

This is an excellent concealer that I seem to *always* forget about, then when I dig through my makeup stash and re-find several times a year, I remember how amazing it is!!
For reference I'm 30 with fair, neutral leaning warm, oily, &acne/clog prone skin. I also have large/visible pores, and terribly dark under eye circles -lucky me lol ;)
I have the shade "light" and it's a pretty good match for my N10-NC15 skin (even under the eyes where I need it to be a bit lighter which is a surprise because I usually need powders to be called "fair" or "porcelain" to work on my pale skin, but Light is perfection)
I first purchased this in 2010 at my local RiteAid for around $10 USD which is a tad on the high side for a drugstore concealer, but it's definitely worth the price. When I initially purchased it I was absolutely smitten in love, used it daily(and A LOT), so repurchased a back-up when I noticed myself getting a little low (because it seems everything I love from the drugstores gets discontinued Lol)
Over the past two years though I've also fallen in love with the Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser for Dark Circles and more recently the Dream Lumi pen, and these concealers are also really great quality, awesome for covering every hint of my under eye darkness, but they are also very brightening for my under eye area, so when I need the brightening effects toned down a little or to cover a blemish(anything other than the undereye area) -Then those Maybelline products aren't the best things to reach for, and that's where this True Match Naturale concealer comes in.
As I said above, this gets shuffled to the bottom of my things from time to time and I forget I even have it. I recently re-found it and didn't expect much since I've purchased BE's Bisque since the last time I used it, but in my personal experience, this covers and blends much better than Bisque. Most powder concealers tend to settle into lines, have a dry/patchy look, or not cover well. -L'oreal TrueMatch Naturale concealer is NONE of those things and it blows my mind over and over again every time I use it.
I whipped it out again over the past month or so, now that the weather is changing from humid summer to dry winter, it wrecks havoc on my skin and the majority of concealers that I own get dry/uneven/patchy under my eyes, this has been the only concealer that's been working well for me since the change in the weather.
It also causes zero breakouts when I use it to conceal other areas of my face so I've found it to be absolutely *perfect* for those "no makeup days" where you don't have time to (or just don't need/want to) do a full face of makeup, but still want/need to cover flaws. I've used this for that purpose by itself, or under a pressed powder. It blends so well and stays put, it's perfect for just about any way you'd need to use a concealer.
As far as the attached brush.. I'm not sure exactlly how I feel about it - It's obviously not the "best" brush for a great application, but I do have this in my purse and have applied it in a pinch with that attached brush and it does the job so the brush isn't completely useless -which I like because I get irritated when products include brushes/sponges that get in the way more than anything else and just won't work for proper application.
Overall I'd highly recommend this to anyone because it works for me in the middle of summer on my mega oily skin as well as the cooler weather when my skin is dehydrated. It has any level of coverage without looking cakey, so will work for whatever coverage you're looking for, and also works for under eyes or facial blemishes. It is definitely my HG concealer that won't be getting shuffled to the bottom of my m/u bag again, and I'll continue to repurchase as long as it's being produced :)

I usually stay away from concealers because I hate the sticks, or liquids because they look so obvious on my skin. I bought this one day because I wanted to try something new, and I really like it!
PROS:
-wonderful coverage, that isn't obvious like stick concealers
-blends wonderfully
-the brush it comes with is great, and you can actually wash it!
-it's great for covering those really stubborn blemishes or scars
CONS:
-the packaging is somewhat annoying, if you toss it into your makeup bag or purse and open it up there will be powder everywhere
-somewhat expensive for a drugstore product, and a very small amount of it at that (I think I paid around $15).

Despite the cons, I would still buy this again because it just covers so well.

This concealer is leaps and bounds better than other drugstore concealers. The powder is extremely pigmented and covers up blemishes, marks, scars and under eye bags without looking cakey or obvious. Unlike cream and stick concealers, the formula of this doesn't cling and sit on top of the skin, it blends in perfectly.

The packaging is less-than-ideal. It's difficult to throw in your bag and go because when you unscrew the cap, powder will fly everywhere. The brush included is actually quite decent. Sometimes I use a smaller brush for pin head sized scars that I wish to cover, but overall the brush included does a stellar job of delivering and blending the concealer to skin.

I highly recommend this product.

wow!!!. if you have a pizza face of problems like i do then this is a good product to consider investing in. I have redness, acne scars, pimples and dark undereye circles all on very fair skin and this covers it all up wonderfully. I like many others wouldnt have expected it given that its just a powder concealer, and i have tried other concealers (drugstore, but all cream or stick based) and nothing covers as well or looks as natural as this. The only complaints i have is the packaging is terrible (with the exception of the brush that is included with the concealer, surprisingly a reasonably dense and study brush). Its just very difficult to deal with a concealer that will separate into three different parts for you to use it. And my other complaint is the price, the cheapest rrp i have found for this in new zealand is $30. Im pretty sure the mac concealer pots rrp for around $45 nzd, just for comparison.

I thought at first this to be drying and overcaking to my almost 40 undereye skin, until a friend told me to apply dabbing the brush and then with my fingers with a liiitle rubbing from inside out. Well, it does not cake anymore and holds the coverage all day long. As for the drying, it still does unless I wear a good eyecream and keep the hand light - I manage to do it without any "soucis".
Plus it is not very toxic to be an everyday product. I used to wear Maybelline Age Rewind concealer until I learned its high potencial to cause cancer! It became an occasional for me now.
As for this one, I have it in light/medium, a tad dark, which in the end, looks even more natural in my NW20.
I don't care for the packaging, because you have to be very careful if you don't want it to be a mess! The brush is usable.

This concealer is wonderful! It covers my acne scars and new acne almost to the point where it's invisible! I have been complimented on how clear my skin has been getting, but it's really just how well this concealer covers up! It also lasts for such a long time, I can't even remember when I bought this concealer I have now.

I love this concealer. I have VERY pale skin and found their lightest mineral foundation was too dark for my skin, so sometimes I use this instead. It does a great job of covering dark circles, pimples, scars, and redness on my cheeks. The small size of this makes it very convenient to throw in your purse and the brush it comes with works well for concealing; I use a small buki brush with it when I use it as foundation. At $13 retail some might find it a little pricey for such a small bottle, but I'm a coupon'er so I usually get it for around $5 which is definitely worth it!

*THIS IS A GODSEND if you have acne scarring and scabbiness.*

This concealer has given me my life back. Recently, due to bad luck or a freak stress attack (who knows?), I had a horrible acne attack. I have always had clear fair skin so the angry, red bumps on my face looked completely hideous. I am always in search of the perfect concealer and have tried many versions and brands. Since this attack hit I have probably been to Ulta 15 times as well as a few drugstores trying to find something to at least tone down the ugly marks on my face. Most just broke me out worse and kept the cycle of breakout, hide, breakout going. This does not break me out at all.....END CYCLE.

Fortunately, due to honey and lemon, the attack has stopped but I have been left with bright red scars and a few scabs around my chin that are a nightmare to cover up. Liquid concealers settle into the scabs and cracks making them brighter and highlighted, drawing even more attention to them. By the end of the day they end up with a highlighted ring around them. Cream concealers did much the same thing.

In the past my HG was Avon's mineral concealer, which to my horror was discontinued, so I have been looking for something comparable since. I even tried the color corrector palates which the palest blues, yellows, and greens to cover this crap! Everything made it worse. So on a whim I went to my local CVS and was happy to find this on sale. I also had a 2.00 off L'oreal coupon and 5 extra bucks so I paid like 3 dollars for this. Let me tell you it works just as well as the Avon version!

THIS IS A GODSEND if you have acne scarring and scabbiness. Obviously it will not smooth out the raised area from a scab but it will cover it so completely and beautifully that it will allow you to hold your head up high again. It does not settle into the cracks and highlight. It does not discriminate over a dry patchy area, a moist damaged area, or healthy skin. It just covers and blends. It does not look cakey or orange in an hour and it doesn't form the dreaded "ring" around the redness. This works good on under eye circles too although it wasn't my main concern when searching for my new HG.

I think the brush could be better but I find it is a great addition for me on the go and at work. I work in the operating room and have to wear masks most of the day. (Thank god lol.) When I take them off after a long case I find that a lot of the concealer has rubbed away. The small size and attached brush make this great to throw into my scrubs for quick touch ups although at home I use a small concealer brush. I have to add that even after taking my mask off, the staying power and blend-ability of this beats everything else I have tried hands down. I don't feel like running and hiding till I get to the ladies room.

So far on my search I have not found any other tiny, powered, mineral concealer so if this is discontinued before my face gets back to normal I think I might really die.

I really love this concealer. Its by far the only drugstore concealer that actually covers my dark circles. It looks absolutely natural. I also use it sometimes as a foundation if I want extra coverage, and looks absolutely flawless. The packaging sucks though. I also dislike the brush it comes with. Other than packaging issues great product. Highly Recommended.

This is by far the best concealer I have ever used. I started using loose powder concealers with Bare Minerals and loved the way they work. They are beyond perfect for covering blemishes and acne scars. This works just as well as BE yet costs less and the color match is a lot better for me (I have very pale cool toned skin). I use fair/light in this, and it seems to be kind of hard to get a hold of. If you love BE definitely give this a try!

Not a big fan of this. I don't like powder concealers, or powder foundations, for that matter. I just think it looks bad on my skin.

It works well to set my concealer, but not under my eye or around my nose. Really, it's kind of useless.

I do use it as an inner corner highlight sometimes, when I don't want to go for all white. And for specific spot coverage on my neck or shoulders, or chest.

So I bought this based on the review right below mine. I use Revlon Colorstay (color 310, golden beige) for my every day makeup as well so maybe this will work for me. I got this is Light/Medium. I used it today for the first time and the color seems quite natural under my eyes. FYI, always use a primer. It makes such a difference in how makeup looks on your face.

Cons: The packaging is a little clumsy and difficult to get product out of it to use, doesn't seem like you get much product.

Pros: pretty natural color and brush head that comes with it is actually somewhat decent and usable.

I will update if anything changes.

Re-writing my review. Since I reviewed this, this product has been thrown away. I tried to get it to work. It even did for a little bit. Then it started caking. I don't know what I did that even gave me the slightest chance to get it to work in the beginning but I lost it. After trying time after time it just looked unnatural and cakey. If the powder somehow didn't sit so unnaturally on my skin this would have been wonderful.

My former roommate was a mineral cosmetics fanatic, and I'd often see her using this. So I thought I'd give it a go, and I really like it! The built in brush is actually usable, unlike the one that comes with the foundation, and really soft, and it covers well without creasing or caking. I've used it alone, or over cream concealer, and I would definitely buy this again!
