It's a good moisturizer. My skin is a bit dry and had a slight acne reaction when I first used it, but that hasn't been an issue since. It sinks in very quickly and leaves my skin fairly soft.
The price is decent for what it is.

I love this product! I never break out using this and it provides just enough moisturizer for underneath my makeup. It works both summer and winter for me.

I use the Canadian version of this product. I think it's really great - nice moisture with sunscreen and I can use it all over my face, even around my eyes, without irritation. I would re-purchase because it's been impossible for me to find a daily moisturizer that doesn't break me out or sting my eyes. But, I really wish I could find one from a company that doesn't test on animals. :(

This works great as a moisturizer, but if u have oily skin, dont use this product. Even though it's oil-free, it will get your face to be really greasy and even more oily!! This broke me out some more on my cheek area and t-zone, as well as my forehead .

I think everyone who's saying the old formula broke them out, just didn't give their skin the proper timing to be able to get use to the product. When your skins not use to different types of chemicals, it freaks out and reacts differently than normal.
That's why you need to continue using it to GET use to it.
I've done this with numerous wrinkle creams and moisturizers.
Anyways I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this product.
My skin is baby smooth, it has spf 15 in it, which keeps it safe from the sun. It's not too greasy so I can wear it under my makeup, IT LASTS, and it evens out my skin tone because of the vitamins E and C which is formulated with antioxidants. My skin is dry so it does an incredible job of keeping it moisturized all day. And personally I've never had problems breaking out with it, and I put two coats of it on. under my wrinkle creams, and over top of them.

My mother always has the new Olay lotions that are coming out and after trying this once, I've never used it again. It feels nice going on, but does absolutely nothing for your skin. In a few hours my skin feels like it needs a moisturizers , and I just put one on!

This has been my face day lotion for many years! So disappointed when it was "improved" and made irritating.
But the original formula is back and it seems just like it was.
The only sunscreen I've ever found that doesn't irritate my face. One chemical sunscreen + zinc oxide. I use this every day, literally, nothing else has ever worked for me this well.
I do not think it would be good on oily skin, it's a little gunky; or very dry skin, it's not supermoisturizing, or perhaps on very dark skin, it's a little masky with the zinc; so I can't recommend without exception, but on me it works like nothing else, provides a little moisture, foundation goes on smooth, and together the lotion & foundation protect my face and I do not tan, skin in very good shape for my age, so I think it is working.

Aaaaaghhhhh. This moisturizer used to be my HG but after reading reviews, I am certain that the new formula is what caused the cysts all over my chin and forehead. Even when I got acne, it never occurred on my chin. I haven't broken out like this for about 10 years. These cysts were so bad that it looked like I had herpes all over my face (I don't), and I convinced my boss to let me stay home for a day because makeup would not cover the breakouts.
Ugh. I'm so mad, because I used to love this moisturizer. Time to search for a new moisturizer with sunscreen that doesn't break me out.

love this product. needed a moisturizer that had spf plus one that wasnt gonna clog my pores since i have oily acne prone skin. my old moisturizer from clean n clear wasnt giving me enough moisture to the point where my bareminerals foundation would turn flaky especially during those winter months. first saw this on bebexo's youtube channel on one of her monthly favs video. this lotion has never broken me out. is non greasy absorbs really quickly into the skin so that i can quickly apply makeup when im in a rush. the pricing is ok. at $7 for 4 fl. oz. its decent. i bought mine in Jan. and in the beginning i was using way too much because i was still in my old clean n clear days but its now June and i still have a lil than less a bottle left. im def gonna purchase a back up now. all in all my new HG moisturizer.

i love this moisturizer! as with countless others, the "new and improved" formula olay came out with severely irritated my skin from the minute i applied it...so i went back to the zinc oxide one and its the improvement haha.... its not greasy and leaves my face soft..too much can make my breakouts worse though, but a reasonable amount doesnt irritate my acne. i also love you can apply this anytime throughout the day and it looks fine over makeup :)

I am so happy that the "classic" or original version has been relaunched! I had been using the drugstore dupes, but now that Olay has brought the original version back! Great for sensitive skin, no fragrance, absorbs and wears well under my makeup, and an effective broad-spectrum spf 15 that doesn't feel or look greasy! Yay! A simple and non-irritating moisturizer that keeps my skin soft and smooth! It's a bargain that works - so a staple in my daily beauty routine:) I do actually use/prefer the normal (scented) version, but this is great for those gals who cannot tolerate fragrance:)

This is for the original Complete SPF 15 Sensitive skin formula. Absolute HG for me! Possibly one of the ONLY moisturizers with SPF that does NOT break my sensitive, acne/clog prone skin out. I freaked when I first saw that the formula had been changed and am so glad to know that Olay has brought it back, though it's kind of hard to find. A 4 oz. bottle of this last me about a year using it most days AND it's cheap. It's def. not the most moisturizing, however, so I can see it being a problem for others with drier skin types (and myself now during this pregnancy) but I can do with it. Love that it's fragrance free and just overall, basic. :)

Finally found the "Classic Gentle" formula at Walmart in the San Francisco Bay area. Just in time--I was nearly out of my old supply of the original. I don't know why Olay changed it in the first place, but I'm glad they listened and brought back the original excellent formula. It's exactly what I need--a light fragrance-free moisturizer that makes my skin feel great and gives me a little sun protection on my way to work.

I bought the new formulation a few months ago and got the worst breakout of my life. I mean huge cysts on my chin that was painful and took some time to go away.

This stuff is good but equate has much more and is better moisturizing
Don't like the new formula, doesn't sink into skin, has caused slight breakouts, and makes my concealer slide off. actually has plastic in it.

This makes me break out. I used this a pretty long time before giving up on it. When i apply it my skin gets a mild "stinging" feeling...it feels weird... not to mention i get pimples afterwards...
All in all: would NOT recommend. would NOT re-buy. Aveeno moisturizing lotion and Nivea cream are the only moisturizers that work for me so far.

About six months ago, I all of the sudden started breaking out horribly, the worst of my entire life at age 28. My skin was suddenly very greasy with clogged pores and seemingly a new blemish every day. After having always been complimented on my skin, it was mortifying to suddenly have such a problem. I went to the dermatologist, who prescribed medications that did not help. Nothing in my skincare routine had changed, I couldn't figure out what the problem was and why nothing was clearing it up. Then four days ago, I happened to see a review for this product on the home page under latest reviews. Given this has been my beloved moisturizer for nearly 10 years, I was curious to see what was being said. Then I saw the reviews saying the product forumulation had changed last year. Lo and behold, I checked my nearly empty bottle of moisturizer, and it is the new version that contains the horrible avobenzone. Suddenly, I realized that my skin problems started around the time I started this new bottle of lotion. I remember buying it and seeing that the design on the bottle was different, but it didn't say anything about it being a new formulation, and it didn't even cross my mind that this could be the problem. I discontinued this lotion four days ago, and my skin looks a hundred times better already, with no new zits since then. The greasiness is gone. I am so angry that they changed this formulation with no notification whatsoever. Avoid this version with avobenzone at all costs. It will ruin your skin. Thank goodness for this website, if it weren't for makeupalley, I would still be slathering this toxic crap all over my face. I give credit to Olay for listening to consumers and supposedly bringing back the old formulation next month, but at this point, I am so disgusted with Olay causing me six months of stress and countless amounts of money on acne treatments. I am going to check out the Trader Joe lotion someone mentioned.

I was actually quite surprised to see so many positive things said about this moisturizer. Honestly I have had problems with acne for 6 years and have tried endless products (I'm sorry but pro-active anything doesn't work it just dries out your skin).
I was using an all sensitive moisturizer prior to trying this, and although I was still breaking out when using that it wasn't anything near as bad as it is now. The only thing I can say thats good about this moisturizer is the fact its got SPF in it to protect your skin from the sun.
I have never ever had such greasy skin since I started using this moisturizer, Id put on my makeup at the beginning of the day and looked like a pizza by mid morning (I would usually use one of those blotting papers a day, when using this moisturizer I was using 8).
I don't know if anyone else has noticed but my face always felt very warm all day when using this moisturizer (and I wasn't sitting in the sun). I'm sure this moisturizer is great for some skin types such as dry but if you have acne, I would stay the heck away.
