I this eye cream is crazy expensive. But it only do an ok job keeping your under eye hydrated. Other than that I have not seen any change on my dark circle or lines ( I don't have fine lines but I have a deep line under each eye due to lack of care at my early 20's). Base on that I will not purchase a full size.

The La Mer eye concentrate definitely will moisturize your under eye area with a tiny amount, but the price is a bit too steep...I have been using the cream for a bit over a month and have not seen any improvement regarding ant-aging at all. I love that it moisturizes the eye area really well and I enjoy the texture of the cream. However, it costs too much and it doesnt really deliver on its promies. Until I find something else that moisturizes this well, I'll still be using this cream, but definitely on the hunt for something new!

I got a free sample from La Mer, which I thought was a GREAT deal (the sample is 0.1 oz, while the actual product is 0.5 oz). I've been using it religiously for about 2 months now. The cream felt very light and a tiny amount moisturized pretty well. However, I saw NO change in dark circles or puffiness. Also, absolutely NO anti-aging benefits. On top of this, I lately started noticing the area under my eyes becoming drier. Then three days ago, I woke up with a huge dry patch under my right eye!! Needless to say I immediately stopped using this cream. I used several night creams before (including Chanel, Clarins and Clinique) and did not see any improvements with these either but at least, they did not give me dry patches! Well, my search for a good eye cream continues...assuming it exists!

I received a deluxe sample of this when ordering CDLM Foundation.
Maybe I put a little too much on or maybe should skip under brow area? Anyway, I woke up to have both eyes sagging lids. Usually I do have one eye that is a little saggy but woke up w/both very saggy lids, not cool! I probably will try now and then, just using under the eye very sparingly and will update.

If you're looking for a moisturizer to use under the eye, this cream is great. It's rich, but not at all greasy. I've never had a problem using it under concealer and it feels great on. All this being said, it's also incredibly expensive and I'm guessing that there are equally good under-eye moisturizers for a fraction of the cost.

The reason I'm giving it such a low rating is because, other than moisturizing, it didn't do any of the other things promised on the label: "help dramatically dissolve the appearance of dark circles, surface discolorations and unevenness." My dark circles remain unchanged after using this product twice a day for over a year. (I can't speak to its success with fine lines and wrinkles). Honestly, I'm not that surprised, as all the research I've read says that little is really known yet about how to get rid of under-eye circles (due to pigmentation and dilated vessels).

Overall: Did nothing to reduce dark circles. Nice, but incredibly expensive moisturizer.

Alternative: Tried many other under-eye creams over the years. None have even marginally reduced my dark circles.

Recommendations from this brand: The original Creme de la Mer. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I've spent so much money on face cream, but I do absolutely love it!

I love this product although I dont use it as an eye cream but rather as a face moisturizer. (I know it's crazy with the high price tag- but it does the job in extreme circumstances and thankfully that is not a daily need.)
I wish it came in a tube rather than a jar---jars are hideous for bacterial growth.
For eye creams something with retinol is much more affective in my humble opinion.

I love the original Creme de la Mer, but I don't think they've got it right on eye treatments yet. Both this and the Eye Balm Intense have caused me lots of irritation. Even though I use sparingly, this seems to migrate into my eyes. I've now had several days of red, irritated, watery eyes. Not a good look...!

This product is ok, but nothing special and not worth the high price tag. I've been using it for about about two months and I find it moisterizes well but haven't noticed more than that. I don't expect miracles and usually for me, if a cream/lotion hydrates my skin and doesn't hurt it, I'm happy. But given the cost, I was hoping to see more. I think you could get similar results from a less expensive product. That said, it didn't cause any redness or breakouts and the silver tipped applicator feels really nice. If I have puffiness, I rinse the applicator under cool water to make it extra cold and rub it back and forth under my eyes, which seems to help. A little of the concentrate goes a long way and make up goes on fine on top. It stung the first two times I used it but then, after that, I didn't notice any irritation.

I got this as a gift from my husband one day. Was super excited to try it and see what the hype is all about. It makes eyes look a little "tired" looking, but it's no miracle. It combats puffiness but it does nothing for dark eye circles, which is what I needed it for. It is all a little over priced I think. On the plus side, it smells great, and I love using the applicator on my skin, I love it to my la mer in the freezer for a few minutes before applying, it gives my eyes a soothing calming feeling. I'm excited to try the obagi eye cream next.

Used to use this eye creme a few years back but have been trying other brands... recently started Latisse and my skin must be reacting to it, skin is flaking off on my eyelids, so went back to La Mer, and ta-da!!! Flaking's gone, which shows this creme is SUPER RICH!!!! Doesn't do much about the circles though =P

I love this, as I do all of the La mer products. The application wand is very nice and I actually use it to apply all of my eye products. I prfer this to the eye cream. It is a good overall eye treatment and moisturizer. All of the LM products are very rich and may not be for everyone. You have to keep in mind that the products were created for burned and scarred skin. No, I do not believe the whole secret formula and lost notes etc story. But the line was in fact first created for burn patients. If you have oily or avne prone skin, you may want to steer clear of all LM products. I have already started to implament skincare routines into my childrens hygenic care. It is never too early to start taking care of your skin. My oldest daughters are 11 and 9 and I have them use LM products when they have spent alot of time in the sun in summer or in the wind in winter. My 16 yr old son on the otherhand, suffers from oily acne prone skin and LM products clog his pores. The eye products give him millia bumps. But, if you have dry skin or normal skin like I do and use these products for extra moisture their great. Will continue to purchase the La mer line.

Good moisturizer, but don't expect a miracle. The effects of line smoothing and dark circle reduction appear to be strictly cosmetic and only apparent when product is on the face. I have been using this for over a year in the AM; lasts a long while!

I think La mer is soooo overpriced and it doesn't worth the money! This eye treatment has nothing special.
I don't see any improvements on my eye area and I was expecting some, considering the price I've paid. I think you can buy something way better paying less. I would not repurchase and I suggest you think twice before investing a fortune.

I really want to love this product. I am such a big la mer fan and I own practically everything on their line. I tried the sample and thought it was nice. It goes on smoothly and I thought my eyes looked better afterwards. I went out and brought the bottle. I've been using it for the past two months and I don't see any results. The fine lines, the wrinkles and the discoloration are still there. There's no change to my eye's condition at all. Although I love La Mer, but this is the only product that I probably will never buy again.

I was really excited to try this product since I have really sensitive skin around my eyes. I went to buy it at a local spa and the girl at the counter said it was great for sensitive skin. I tried it and at first it was nice it moisturized but nothing compared to it's claims. I continued to use it hoping it would give me great results. I started having irritation and a brown rash around my eyes. I was very disappointed maybe the original La Mer eye cream would be better for me.

This is the very first La Mer product that I tried .. And I am glad to say it never failed me .. After applying for 2 weeks .. My bf commented that my dark circles actually lighten .. Luv the cooling feeling of applicator and no milia seeds .. Used half and will definitely buy again !

A decent eye cream. I haven't seen the "wow" effect on me. No sign of smoothen lines, but no sign of extra/deepen lines either. Will continue to use as it hydrates very well. Got mine from a set, don't think I will purchase this separately. (ie. only purchase this when it's on discount, the full price is a bit steep for what it is.

I like that when I apply this, it feels really intense and I can feel it working straight away. When I apply it in the morning, the skin under my eyes look brighter and tighter and I can still feel it working my skin even when I go to bed at night. I'm still in my twenties and do not have 'crows-feet', as such, so I do not use this product everyday (plus I'm trying to make a 15ml pot last as long as possible). I apply this a couple times a week and would rather use this than concealer. Out of the La Mer products I have tried so far, this is my favourite. But does it need to be this expensive? Probably not. For that reason I can not give it full marks. Plus, I'm not very keen on using skincare in pots for sanitary reasons.

I pretty much love every LM item I've used so far but this is definitely not one of them unfortunately. The main thing being that it stings like crazy if any of it seeps into your eye. I literally had to rinse my eyes out as the pain was unbearable. I don't know what they put in this eye cream but I can't imagine any of it being good if it can cause so much pain.

Second update 01/12: I am almost done with this jar and can say that I am still looking for a HG of eye creams. I still the have the same opinion as below, great hydration, comes on nicely, helps with temporary appearance of wrinkles, etc. but for the price it is not amazing. No signs of improvement when I wash my face and the cream is off. I just went and bought a jar of the regular La Mer creme which I plan on using as eye cream until something better comes along. The creme is cheaper and in my opinion more versatile. I recently started using Cellcosmet and I might try their eye cream next. The Ultra Vital has been amazing for the rest of my face so if the eye cream can achieve just a little of that, I am on board!

Update: Opinion still the same. In addition I have noticed that my concealer comes on nicely and doesn't accentuate the lines with these cream under it.

I have used the La Mer creme on and off for years. In the winter, it's the only cream that keeps my face from flaking (but in the summer no matter how little I use, it's too thick hence the off times). My eye area has recently gotten very dry so I bought the eye cream to give it a shot. After only a week, I can say it's working great for me. Yes, I have wrinkles and dark circles and even some puffiness certain days. I did not buy it for any of these reasons though. I bought it for pure hydration and if I got a second benefit, then great. After only one week, I can say that I haven't had the random puffy eyes and the dark circles are a lot better. The hydration has been great as expected. No irritation like others have noted or milia so far. I will come back to update in a month. So far, this has worked for my very dry eyes. Better than Benefiance and Bobby Brown eye balm.
