This is the only actual "lipstick" I keep on hand and use regularly. . . . I'm more of a gloss girl.

Anyway, a neutral rosey-wine with glitter, but it works for me. Great staying power, as I don't use liner with it. Works for all seasons.

This is what I find with Chanel's makeup - it's super-expensive, but it lasts forever, and always looks great, whatever the occasion. I'm not sure how they do that, from France, to wherever I may be, but I certainly appreciate it.

Will always repurchase. It's awesome and well-worth the price.

My HG lipstick! A dusky shimmery mauvey rose with great lasting power. It's the only lipstick that gives me that "bitten" look (NC15). I use it almost everyday in fall and winter and always carry a tube with me. I pair it with Chanel Lipliner in "Nude". If I could live with just one lipstick, that would be it. I hope it will never be discontinued. I have repurchased it 5 times.

i love the creamy pigmented consitency on this. it looks very yasmin le bon on me, but then again its chanel so what did i expect! its quite a daring colour for some but something i turn too when i want minimal eye makeup and pouty wine lips.

Me - pale skin, dark blonde hair, green eyes.

One layer, blotted - perfect mauvey caramelly natural shade. With teeny shimmer specks. Looks kind of like bitten lips, but not too rosy or sweet.
One layer, applied properly, with lipliner - very grown up mauvey pinky brown shade.
Two layers - becomes quite a serious grown up caramel mauvey brown, but can start looking a bit deadening on me.

Recommend giving it a try as the way it looks in the tube is nowhere near how it comes out on your lips!

Wild Tulip is a gorgeous plummy rosy brown shade with a lot of fine shimmer. It's perfect for fall. I still hate the smell of the hydrabases but luckily it dissipates after a few minutes. Another winner from the Fall 2007 collection. EDIT 9-20-07: This is a prettty YLBB shade but it's too neutral for my fair complexion. I don't reach for it too often and I'm not crazy about the glitter.

This lipstick is the lipstick that made me go back to lipstick. I stopped by the counter to pick up the new fad nail polish, and noticed this color. It is simply beautiful, and reminded me how much I've always loved Chanel's lipsticks. Gorgeous plum, not too dark... very versatile. I love it.

Wow...just....wow. Sooo beautiful-plummy rose with some subtle shimmer, Wild Tulip is such a lovely, perfect fall lip color. Nevermind that I am fully intending to wear it now, in August! With my coloring this really works-LLL (Chanel TI in Shell or Beige) Hazel eyes, brown hair. I tried it with Equinoxe glossimer on top at the store, and decided I needed both! Give it a try-looks scary dark in the tube, but is more subtle on.

I agree wholeheartedly, this is a great colour. It looks brown in the tube but goes on rosey on your lips with a shimmer. Its like a brownish plum but its not, it goes on plummy rose. Go figure. Super nice for fall.

This might be the perfect lipstick. So, I went to the Chanel counter to lust after the Fall stuff. Bought the Hibiscus glossimer, which I'm "saving" until Fallish. Then the sweet SA tries this lipstick on me because she's sayling that the color would be perfect. And voila`. It is. Funny, it looks mauvey in the tube, but, she puts Spice liner with it. The color of the l/s picks up the spice-ness of the liner, looks fantabulous. With Rosey liner, the color looks more mauve with cool pink undertones, and just the hint of shimmer. The color lasts forever. Can't wait to try it with the Hibiscus over it. She tried that on me at the counter, and it looked awesome. Great every day color, makes my thin lips noticeable, but, not scream LIPSTICK. As usual, I'm a sucker for the Chanel packaging. Happy Fall!
