I like this shampoo. I love the smell. My hair cam out frizzy but i think thats because i did not use enough conditioner and did not leave in for as long as they suggest. I like this for it is sulfate free and gentle. If you know about cowashing the ingredients that cleanse in regular conditioners is in this shampoo so it is very gentle. Smells like heaven. I bought this mainly for I wanted a coconut shampoo to go with my coconut shower gells and hair oils

I started using this product approximately two weeks ago. I normally rotate between Paul Mitchell's Platinum Blonde/Forever Blonde shampoo and conditioner, and Paul Mitchell's Lavender Mint shampoo and conditioner. However, having to buy the bigger/liter bottles of his products since my hair is super thick and fairly long, it gets a bit pricey.
I love how those products worked, but I wanted something slightly more affordable, but still a salon type of product.
I bought the Organix Coconut shampoo at Ulta, so I don't even know if it's salon worthy or not (hell, I didn't even bother asking, ha.) But I figured since it's $8 a bottle, it shouldn't be that cheap of a product. (I'm a salon product junkie after working in a salon for 3 years, so it's hard to go for anything less....)
After using this shampoo and the Anti-Breakage Organix Keratin conditioner, I can say that I like it so far. It's no Paul Mitchell, but the shampoo makes my hair feel super soft and luxurious. My hair is oily to begin with, so I haven't noticed it making it any more oily. It's a plus that it's sulfate free as well! Those can really do some major damage.
All in all: so far, I love this shampoo. I feel it was a good investment, but I guess only time will tell :)

I really love this shampoo. It is sulfate free which is the main reason I started using It, but the smell Is so good! It isn't overpowering like some coconut scents can be and my boyfriend loves the smell. I have noticed that after washing my hair It isn't super smooth or detangled as a lot of shampoos can make it feel, but I assume that has a lot to do with the extra chemicals being added to those shampoos that still include the sulfate, etc. Once I follow up with the conditioner, though my hair becomes super soft and feels great. I really love this shampoo and at about $6 it's not a bad price.

After each use my hair would feel soft and smell awesome, but after a few hours it would be greasy. I didn't use any other products in my hair or do anything different than any other day.

I bought this product for the smell and unfortunately that is all it really has going for it. Used it and the conditioner for a week and all it did was make my hair frizzy and dry. Will not be buying this shampoo again.

I have dry hair, this shampoo made my hair even more dry. It smells good but doesn't do what it says. The conditioner didn't do anything for my hair either.

I understand that there are all types of hair so before I begin I will tell you my hair type. I have severely dry damaged hair due to over bleaching a bad keratin experience and tons of breakage and I live in the desert of Nevada. Trust me I have tried every product on the market and nothing worked. Until I tried this shampoo with there organix conditioner and anti breakage serum. It made my hair soft and silky and elimated all frizz. The only downside is that I have to wash my hair everyday, which I could never do before sometimes i would go 2-3 days just because it was so dry. Now I would consider my hair normal hair, no breakage and more more hair fall out. I used to be able to pull my hair straight up on my head and it would stay that way because it was so dried out and stiff. Now it just lays down on my head soft and smooth. I have only used these products for one week but seen the results after one use. I have found a winner!!!!

I LOVE LOVE this shampoo!!!!!!!!! Its sulfate free which is great! Its cruelty free which is wonderful! And it doesn’t dry out my hair, even my husband loves this shampoo. All the scents are great but I personally really like the coconut one best. I was using this other horrible sulfate shampoo and I noticed my hair breaking because I would see pieces of hair on my pillow which freaked me out, I switched to this shampoo and no more breakage! I have recommended this shampoo to friends and after trying it they really like it too.

The smell of this product is heavenly! Its a long lasting coconut smell that would make anyone believe they were having pina coladas on the beach if they had their eyes closed.
--
Unfortunately, that is where the fantasy ends. I have normal, untreated/undamaged, healthy , thin/fine straight hair and most shampoos work on my hair but this one left my hair both staticy and really flat& limp and ever so slightly greasy looking.
--
There was a good lather with this shampoo, the price is a little bit more expensive than your average drugstore shampoo IMO especially since my hair loves & looks its best with $1 Suave shampoo.
--
My favorite shampoos are: Suave daily clarifying shampoo, suave coconut dandruff, and head & shoulders classic clean. I use the suave the most.

I wasn't holding out much hope for this particular range, but I think it may have become one of my regular purchases. I use it alongside the Coconut Milk conditioner and the matching Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum. Whenever I use them, my hair smells amazing and is super soft. I have tried so many different shampoos in attempts to tame my very damaged hair, and this has been the best yet. It is quite expensive for a drug store brand though, maybe I would have given it 5 stars if it was slightly cheaper. But it is good, for me anyway. ♥

I purchased this shampoo along with the matching conditioner because I have curly hair and wanted to make the switch to a no sulfate product that would be healthier for my hair. I use the Organix mousse and love it, but after a week of using the shampoo it caused my hair to fall out more than usual and I broke out on my scalp and along the hairline on my face. I'm not quite sure why I reacted so poorly to this product because like I said, I use their mousse with no reactions at all. The shampoo does have a great coconut smell, lathers well (a little too much for a no sulfate shampoo), and did make my hair soft. Unfortunately I won't be using this shampoo any longer, and those with sensitive skin might want to use this with caution, but I definitely wouldn't discourage anyone from trying it.

It smells sooo amazing and I don't even have to use a conditioner because though it cleans my hair really good, it leaves a softness in my hair as if I had used a conditioner. It's really weird but I'm not complaining!!

This is my HG shampoo and conditioner. I always look for sulfate-free shampoos and used to use Aveda religiously. Recently, I was having a bit of a money crisis and went on the lookout for something similar but much cheaper. I found the Organix range at Boots and they stocked the Moroccan Argan Oil, Brazilian Keratin and the Coconut Milk ranges. I chose the coconut milk range as I felt that it suited my hair type better and from the description, felt that it may give me the results that I want from a shampoo. It did not disappoint.
I have to use more product than I usually would with other brands to get a decent lather going, but apart from that, I have had no problems with this shampoo. I have relatively fine, slippy hair which can sit quite flat. After using this shampoo (which I have done since Oct 2011) my hair feels much stronger, thicker and I never have any issues with volume.
I'm not sure if this is the sort of product that will give you endless shine, but as that is something I am not looking to achieve- my hair is slippy enough thank you very much- it doesn't bother me! It probably wouldn't be beneficial to coarse hair types. It will help fine types of hair that need nourishment and strength.
I have gained so much length since using this shampoo too. I am not sure if it is down to this shampoo (I take supplements, oil my hair etc) but I feel it definitely has had a hand in helping.

Big fat nope. I don't write negative reviews often, but ugh. I could not stand this shampoo. It lathers weirdly and left my hair ridiculously dry, limp and dull. Definitely not a repurchase, and I don't recommend spending your money on it.

so, after i tried the Moroccan oil shampoo and conditioner (i ended up giving the bottles to my sister after one use) which made my normal hair feel like complete straw, i decided to use the coconut milk shampoo and conditioner. it lathers up so much better than the Moroccan oil one, and it smells REALLY good for the next few hours after you wash your hair, but it makes my hair feel really greasy, and it makes it look like i haven't washed it in a week. it made the top of my hair smooth but half way down the shaft you'd run into a knotted mess, and i take very good care of my hair... i also noticed more strands falling out everywhere! especially on my brush, which was a deal breaker for me. the good thing is that it isn't expensive at all (6, 7 dollars per bottle depending on where you go and if they have it on sale) so it wasn't much of a loss. what doesn't work for me might work for someone else though!

Eh, this stuff is fine, but I think I'm biased against it because the Coconut Milk conditioner did absolutely nothing for my hair. I like the other Organix shampoos (Tea Tree Mint, anyone?) and will continue to purchase those and the sulfate free L'oreal shampoos, but I was just not feeling this one (even though I love the Organix Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum).
Pros: It is sulfate free and works fine for a shampoo.
Cons: Lots of fragrance, and it really lingers, so if you like smelling like coconut for a while, buy this.

Pros: does not test on animals.
Makes hair super clean.
Great coconut smell.
Hydrates nicely.
Cons: makes hair flat on top.
Ends are frizzy and tangled.
I have super fine hair and have to wash it everyday because like all people with fine hair it gets super oily at roots. I tried this because Im looking for a sulfate free shampoo that doesn't test on animals. I used it for 3 days now. My hair looks super shiny and healthy from roots to 3 inches from ends. Ends are tangled and frizzy. I tried the matching conditioner and it seemed to weigh my hair down. This morning I used the shampoo and a high quality conditioner and the frizzy ends are still there. I'll keep using the shampoo because it has milk protein which is really good for your hair but only a couple times a week.
