I just realised that the reason why this buffer brush has a tiny head is because it's a travel-sized version. -_-U They've now come out with a large flat-top buffer, which I would love to try, because I pretty much love this brush! The hairs are soft and give a very even, precise application of powder! However I just washed it for the first time today and noticed slight bleeding. It also takes longer to dry compared to my other brushes, perhaps because it's so dense. It doesn't shed though. It's a value-for-money purchase!

I like this brush even better then the Alima #25. The head is much smaller, so it fits into 5 gram jars with ease. It's also incredibly dense so it provides quick and full coverage easily. I also like the short handle for the ease of manuevering the brush around my face. I have tried many flat-tops and I don't think anything can beat this beauty.

I loved the Lumiere kabuki, but some folks on a forum raved about the flat-top buffer so much I caved and got it. It's perfect. I've never used such a perfect brush. It applies evenly, doesn't irritate my skin, isn't shedding, and buffs my foundation smooth and glowing. I use the kabuki now only for finishing powders.

They will pry this brush from my cold, dead hands, and comment on how fabulous I look at my wake.

I love this brush because it allows me to effortlessly achieve that full coverage that I'm always after! It is truly soft, and dense, as other people have mentioned. I also happen to love its size. The width of the head is 1inch, which might seem rather small. It does feel small the first few times you use it, but after a few washes, it fluffs out slightly, but just enough to be the perfect size. I love how I am able to maneuver it with precision in such areas of my face as under the eyes, between my brows, between my nose and mouth, without ending up putting too much foundation in an unwanted area. It's perfect! And it doesn't shed a bit!

Don't let the size of this brush dissuade you from trying it. This is by far one of the best flat tops that I own (and I have many) for applying foundations. What is especially unique to this flat top buffer is it's super softness and ability to retain it's firmness even when buffing in powders. I love it as it allows you to achieve a medium to heavy even application of foundation with ease.

When I first placed my eyes on this brush in person, I thought I received the wrong brush. lol It was just smaller than I expected, but very soft. I tried it and I really do love this brush. It's wonderful with applying mineral foundation and has the perfect density. What I really love about this brush the most is that it is so easy to fit into a travel brush case. I hate traveling with a bunch of bulky brushes. For home, this does very well too. If this brush were offered with the exact same density and luxuriously soft synthetic hairs, I'd be in line to purchase it for sure. Until then, I'll continue enjoying this one.

i love this brush, it's so DENSE and SOFT. it's definitely one of my favorite brushes, and i LOVE the way this brush applies my mineral makeup when i'm using the "wet" method. my only complaint is that the head is quite small. if lumiere EVER makes a brush exactly like this, but with a bigger head... i will be FIRST in line to get it!

i highly recommend this brush!
