I don't think this is a moisturizer. It's an acne clearing lotion and it works if that's what you use it for. In my opinion I would use the face wash, this lotion and fallow with a sunscreen or a night lotion. Really does dry out a blemish but left scares behind. I used the Clinique color tone corrector and didn't break out at all.

First of all, this really helps drying out blemishes, but, it also creates new ones, also, it has parabens in it, it's time Clinique and other top brands replaces this by more safe ingredients.
In fact, the 3 steps of the acne solutions dries to much the skin and is not suitable for sensitive skin as it creates new spots of acne due to irritation, but I guess it can be amazing for really oily skin with no sensitivity issues.

Not the worst acne treatment I've used-it's gentle and not too drying. But it didn't make a very noticeable difference. I won't repurchase.

I bought this product in the trial size package which included the moisturizer, foam cleanser, toner, and a spot treatment with Salicylic acid.
I have very fair skin and I started using the moisturizer on my face and it dried it out badly! Than I actually READ the back and it said that people with fair skin should just use it on the spots they want gone (not in those exact words).
It took a long time to use up my trial size and I purchased the full size bottle at $22, which seems like a lot but it isn't for the time it lasts. My advice would be to ONLY USE as spot treatment on the existing blemishes you want decreased/gone.
This moisturizer is too strong to use as a "moisturizer" unless you want to burn off half of your face. Another negative about this product is if you stop using it your face breaks out horribly..this also happened to me with the foam cleanser!
However its a great product for spot treatment and I will be purchasing again:)

This is the best acne product I have ever used.
I struggled with bad adult acne for years, and had previously tried every cream, prescription, system, spot treatment, and soap you can think of without any results.
This is honestly the first and only product that cleared my skin, and I've been using it for 2 years now. At one point I had stopped using it for a few weeks, and my skin started breaking out again.
I usually only apply this moisturizer once in the morning after my shower, and this is enough to keep it blemish free. I don't find that it burns or dries out my skin at all.
The tube costs $20 and because you only need a dab, it does last quite a long time.
I would highly recommend this product, it worked amazing for me!

I used this with the Acne Solutions foaming cleanser. I used them in pair, and have noticed a dramatic difference in my skin. This was my review for the cleanser, whose results go hand-in-hand with the clearing moisturizer.

This is the best cleanser I have used. I used proactiv in the past, and went from maybe 5 spots daily to 2 every couple of weeks, which was awesome. I wanted to switch off proactiv and try something else because of the known harshness of proactiv (and the quest for no acne!). I have been on it for 2.5 weeks now and I am extremely impressed. The day after I started using this cleanser, I noticed the couple spots I had reduced drastically. Since those spots have cleared, I have had no new acne. I am using it with the benzoyl peroxide lotion/cream clinique has, which is assisting it as well, no doubt.
The one negative I do have to comment on, however, is the drying factor. The first few days after I started using it, I noticed my skin getting very dry - unusal because I moisturize twice a day, and wear a hydrating foundation. It only lasted about a week or so, and now my skin is back to normal, although I have to use a hydrating facial mask and heavy-duty moisturizer at night, but this product is totally worth it.

NOTE: This product claims to be a moisturizer. It is NOT. If you are looking for a moisturizer, look elsewhere. If you are looking for an extremely good clearing lotion to use in combination with a moisturizer, I do recommend. I do not know why Clinique advertises this as a moisturizer.

My skin has never reacted as horribly to a product as it did this one. I felt a burning sensation the second I applied it. Within 1 minute, my face turned bright red like I had a third degree burn, and started to swell up. I washed it off immediately, but it still took 3 days for the symptoms to subside. This is the first Clinique product that I have had an adverse reaction to. It was a huge waste of money at $20. I threw it away. Never again.

I purchased this along with the anti blemish solutions cleansing foam and clarifying lotion. I dont really like the other two products in this line as my skin did not react well to the salcylic Acid in them. This moisturiser works well on my skin due to the benzyl peroxide in it. It is definatley not a moisturiser on my skin though and i was using Estee Lauder Swiss pwerforming Extract after it to add moisture to my skin.
It does treat blemishes well, but i wouldnt repurchase simple because i can buy Benzac AC benzyl peroxide Gel for a lot cheaper from the chemist.

This is the first ever moisturizer that didn't make me break out. I've tried TONS of oil-free moisturizers but they all just made me breakout. This is a mosturizer that hydrates my skin while clearing up my acne at the same time. I only use this product at night before I go to bed. I was against using any moisturizer until I came across this one.

For as long as I can remember, I was the pizza face in my family (AND extended family!). I've used COUNTLESS acne treatments since I was 10 (!!!!). (I've even used the hardcore Accutane drug and it didn't do much for my zits, but it did help with my cystic acne.) Most things just DO NOT work for my skin; and it just does NOT want to work with anything. Boo. :( After years of trying RX only medication, I was advised by my dermatologist to try out Clinique's Acne Solutions line. $60 to try out a three-step system was certainly cheaper than what I was used to shelling out for RXs, so I was up for it.
I am completely enamored with this lotion. It completely morphed my skin into pizza-ness into clear skin. I only use a dime-sized amount and it easily spreads well into my face. I make sure to keep rubbing it in to ensure that it's completely absorbed in my skin. I was warned by the SA at Clinique and she wasn't kidding. The lotion is EXTREMELY drying. (And actually, I think this lotion is the sole reason my skin type changed from extremely oily to normal/combination. But that's another story, for another time.) So I can't use this as a moisturizer and go about my day. If I did, my skin/makeup would look patchy.
I've been using this diligently for over two years now and I'm still in love (even with the cystic acne setback). IMO, I could NOT go about daily without using the cleanser or the lotion. These are my two must-haves in my acne regimen. I no longer use any RX acne medication.
_____________
Pros:
- clears acne
Cons:
- EXTREMELY drying, cannot be used as sole moisturizer
- if left standing, product sometimes spills out and eventually dries and becomes unusable- what a waste!

Got this as a GWP along with the soap and clarifying lotion from the anti-blemish range. I was hesitant to use this moisturiser as my skin is seriously prone to breakouts if it doesnt ;like a lotion or potion i use!! Anyhoo, this felt great on, smoothing, none greasy and i ADORE the smell of it! Like a minty medical smell, like you knopw its something good for your skin :)
I will be buying the full sized lotion, soap and clarifyiong lotion once i run out in the not too distant future!
A must try if you have spot prone skin!

Too drying for a "moisturizer" and didn't help at all with my acne...Even though I used it like crazy for a VERY LONG period of time :(

Another winner from the Acne Solutions line - I love this product but wouldn't necessarily call it a moisturizer. It is a product I can use all over the parts of my face where I tend to break out to help keep breakouts at bay, but it tends to dry me out when I use it more then once daily. I do use it as a spot treatment at times and I don't find that it dries me out too much as most spot treatments do.

This moistuirser is definatly one of my favourite.
I have used it along with the other 2 steps from the Clinqiue Acne Blemish Range.
And I have used it with other cleansers and toners and it has worked well to fight my acne and keeping my skin super soft and hydrating.
It doesn't make me shiny or feel oily.
I took away one star because I feel it runs out to quickly. This product is the most expensive from the Clinique Acne Line, which makes it even worse.

Well i just got home from spending the night in the hospital due to this product. I have generally dry skin but i do break out and have a fair amount of acne scarring. so first things first - i bought this product 2 weeks ago because my roommate uses it and raves about it - she has oily skin and she swears this is the only thing that clears acne up. awesome i thought well i used it for about 3 days and my face got so dry and flakey and red i thought oh my god this is a chemical burn at the time i wasnt sure if it was from this product or a moisturizer i used at my moms house because i had left this product at home, so i didnt really know. so i went a week without being able to wear make up - the only product that offered my red itchy dry skin some relief was vaseline. but not a problem in a week it cleared up and went back to normal [this was 4 days ago] anyways got back to my apartment and had a shower last night used the moisturizer on my face and neck like i usually do [this was at 6 o clock] by midnight i had to go to the hospital because my neck and face had swelled up so bad i couldnt breathe properly. the dr gave me a shot and some antihistamine cream for the itchyness but thats alll they could do...
so in my opinion i will never touch this product again i have used the toner and face bar and love those so much but i will stick to my clinique dramatically different lotion for my face - as i said this product seems to work wonders on oily skin like my roommates but for me it just burnt me so purchase with caution.

Me: oily skin more in the warmer months, no breakouts.
I picked this up because I needed a moisturizer that wasn't heavy or sticky. I don't like the DDMG because it is sticky when it dries. I've only been using this product for a week, and it's okay. It has benzoyl peroxide so it is a little drying, but it doesn't make my skin feel tight or uncomfortable. It works pretty good at minimizing oil during the day, even in this hot humid southern weather. The packaging is pretty good too, I like that its in a tube so I can get every bit of it out.
Plan to use this until I find something better, but I will not repurchase.

It's okay. I think it has been helping my hormonal acne around my mouth/jaw, but slowly. I put "yes" on repurchase but I am still undecided.

This is Horrible, i have extremely oily skin and this turned it to the opposite i have huge flakes everywhere. This made my skin super dry and gross, to strong for a moisturizer considering it has 2.5% benzoic peroxide.. overall wouldn't recommend this product.
