This isn't the greatest bronzer for everyday use because it has a LOT of shimmer to it. i prefer it over the top of a less shimmery brozer, just a pop on the cheekbones. its a beautiful color just a bit much for all over face or even everyday use. Great for night time makeup!

For reference: Chantecaille Compact Makeup in Peach (matches closest) or MAC NW20.

LOVE this! It is the one and only bronzer I can wear. Perfect for my coloring.

Description: Half of the compact is a soft rosy bronze.
The other half is divided into two colors: natural pink and beige-gold. All three colors have soft, wearable shimmer.

Customize It: I keep my swirling brush mostly in the pink and beige colors, picking up just a little of the rosy bronze. This color combination works best on me. In fact, I wish the rosy bronze strip was the smallest strip of the compact. It is gorgeous, but I only need just a little.

Multiple Use: I do wear the beige-gold on my green eyes. I wear the pink shade on my lips.

Would definitely repurchase!!

Another bronzer with rave reviews that I personally was very disappointed with. I wanted to love this, particularly as it's advertised to be nice on the eyes as well as on the cheeks. I found that the color was not natural on me- it was a bit too orange for my light-medium olive toned skin. It was too shimmery for my face and the color did not flatter my green eyes in any way. I'd say the bronzer is of a good quality; if you have the right coloring for this, you might love it. For reference, I love my Fusion Beauty Bronzer in Sunshine and BB Bronzer in Medium when I am going for an ultra-natural look.

I think the first review on this product is great, too, and there isn't much more I can add to it. However, I am amazed at how stunning this bronzer is, and how natural it looks on me, too! First ever of its kind that blended right into my skintone without looking dirty, orangey, too sparkly/glittery, or fake. I am NW20-NW25, and Beausoleil on my cheeks and across the bridge of my nose makes me look as if I had been out in the sun for a couple hours. Looked great in my bathroom mirror- and even BETTER when I looked at my reflection in outdoor light! I couldn't believe how fantastically natural this bronzer looks on my face! I am a die-hard MAC fan, but I have to say this: There is NO MAC blusher, bronzer, or MSF I have ever tried (or own) that does for my complexion what Beausoleil does! Even my favorite, MAC MSF (Shimpagne) is a little too sparkly and fake-looking compared to Sue Devitt's Beausoleil. My favorite MAC creme blush (Cherche) gives me a great, sun-kissed look, but it doesn't seem to last long before it becomes too slick-looking and disappears completely from my cheeks. Laura Mercier's pressed powder in SHIMMER comes closest to Beausoleil, except the pink powder mixed into the Sue Devitt version (top third of compact) is what really makes this bronzer a winner! Also, I would like to add that I applied this bronzer to my face over 8 hours ago, and despite the high heat and humidity outside today, this bronzer is still every bit as visible as when I first applied it. This is HG for me! ♥♥♥♥♥♥

Gorgeous bronzer and the lst reviewer hit the nail on the head. This is the perfect bronzer that does give that slightly pinkish hue I love after i laid out. I think maybe when you have yellowish, sallow skin like me, you love that little bit of pink/tan you get from the sun. this is it. I am an NC30 light olive complexion and this looks so natural. I get tons of compliments when I wear this. Its a trio of a rosy bronze in the middle and widest strip of color and a pinkish champagne and goldish shimmer shade. ITs $35 and comes in a sleek silver compact.

I was looking for a bronzer and exhausted the options at Sephora. I had to make categories and test a lot. I found flat, matte bronzers (with ruddy, golden/yellow, or orange tones), sparkly bronzers (with similar tones), bronzers that were purple (Benefit Dallas) or overly pigmented (Sue Devitt herself), bronzers that combined some of the above and cost $65.00. After testing what was out there and sitting in the sun for two hours, I realized that the sun doesn't turn your face simply tan. It brings out redness, a color feature many bronzers lack. I wanted all all-purpose product that would handle both jobs at once, plus act as a highlighter. A pretty tall order, right? I just can't be bothered to apply bronzer, blush, and highlighter. Sue Devitt Beausoleil rescued me from a complicated and error-prone application. The product comes in a slim silver compact. It has three color stripes in mid-tone bronze, natural pink, and a very soft gold (almost light yellow). Versatility is built into the product. You can swirl and get all three colors or layer them one above the other (bronze below cheekbones, pink on top of cheekbones, gold everywhere else) or you can use the product as a blush by applying only the pink. Perhaps the most interesting thing about Beausoleil is that it has the radiance built in, giving a semi-gloss, glowing finish without sparkles. I have been using it as blush over a tan and it has bolstered the natural pink tones I get from sitting outside. If I want to amp up the tan, I simply apply the bronzer portion to the usual areas (nose, brow, chin) and then run over it with the pink color portion. It's incredibly natural looking and removes all of those pesky steps in mimicking a summer tan. I'm rating it a five on all counts. Color, performance, versatility, ease, realism.
