I bought Firespot a while ago, at the recommendation of a SA @ the MAC counter at Bloomingdales. For a while, it just sat in my make up trunk, and just the other day, I decided to play around with it, and I must say I can totally see why I ended up buying it! It's got a gorgeous pearlescent shimmer to it, and the orange color is bright without making u look "clownish". I wear it by itself with a thin black liner on my upper lid & a shimmery gold in the corners of my eyes with lots of mascara...BEAUTIFUL!

This is the best orange eyeshadow ever. It's completely wearable and blendable. It makes my blue/green/gray eyes automatically turn blue! I love this in the summertime with goldmine and coppering!

I bought this shadow at the CCO last year, and never opened it until yesterday. I was watching Scandelous Beauty on YT, and she was talking about using orange eye shadow as a blush. So I opened it, and bayuuMMMM. This is perfect as a shadow, but even better as a blush. It reminds me of the NARS line blushes, especially Taj Mahal. The color is a bright burnt orange, with a satin finish of gold, just spectacular. Go get Firespot, if you can find it. Ironically it is the only MAC shadow I own, and just my luck it is LE.

This is hands down .. the prettiest orange eyeshadow I have in my stash. It's a very vivid medium orange with loads of gold shimmer. For starters .. it's a veluxe pearl, so the texture is buttery smooth. While it doesn look intense in the pot, this is fairly easy to sheer out because of the texture to make it look softer. Looks amazing paried with a deep brown/bronze in the crease, or even Burnt Burgundy or Sketch. For such a crazy shade, it's surprisingly versatile! Another fun unique shade from MAC!!

I just received this in a swap from a sweet MUAer. I missed out on the whole Moonbathe Collection and I have been waiting to try this. I absolutely adore this. First off the texture is a Veluxe Pearl which is one of the best kind of eyeshadow textures from MAC. It glides on well with lots of pigmentation. This is the perfect summery eyeshadow and goes great paired with Cosmic. I just love the color its a bright but wearable orange/gold with yellow undertones. It brightens my eye area and makes my brown eyes pop. Too bad this one is a LE it should be permanent.

This is one of my favourite orange eyeshadows, if not absolutely my favourite. It has great pigmentation and is very smooth. It applies nicely, wears well and blends beautifully. Absolutely worth owning.

This is such a beautiful colour. Orangey-gold, blends well with pinks (especially MAC Cranberry) and browns. It is a Veluxe Pearl MAC eyeshadow, which means it goes on like butter and blends easily. There are other orange colours out there but I don't think many of them boast the blendability and pigmentation this one has. I think it looks best on medium-toned or darker skin. I should've bought a backup.

This is one of my favorite MAC eyeshadows. It was limited edition with the May 2007 Moonbathe collection. It's an intense orange with gold pearl. It goes on smoothly and it's incredibly vivid. Alone, it can be a bit much for my pale skin, but it's perfect for a sunset eye. Definitely track this one down if you can.

If what you looking for is orange with gold sheen, this is it. Pairing with coppers, yellows, golds look gorgeous! Definitely i'd buy again if it wasn't LE.

I wouldn't have bought this color if the MAC MA didn't use it on me!! it looks so scarily orange!! Orange shadows usually make me look very jaundiced and i tend to shy away from them, but this, when paired with the other colors from the Moonbathe collection really defined my eyes beautifully!! Would definitely repurchase!! :)

This is a beautiful color, I was lucky enough to grab one before they were all gone. In the pot it looks like flames, bright orange/yellow and pearly. When I put it on my eyes, it went more of a coppery yellow, and really stood out making my green eyes pop. I initially really liked it, but now I'm not sure what colors to pair with it. It's very intense for daytime. I like having it around because it's so unique, but I don't think I'd repurchase.

The orange scared me at first, but firespot is awesome! Looks great on my blue green eyes, love wearing it with cosmic and steamy in the inner corner! Makes my eyes pop! Don't be afraid of orange!

I was slightly scared by how orange this shadow looks in the pot, but it goes on a great goldy/ peachy colour. It's very warm and a really pretty eyeshadow. It's the only moonbathe shadow I bought, and I'm really glad I did! Beautiful.

This eyeshadow is on the top of my all time favs list next to Riot. Seriously.
It goes on so smoothly, and shows up on me different depending on my base- just UDPP and it's a peachy/orange with a gold shimmer, and that's my fav way to wear it. I rock it with naked on the lid, that on the crease and liner for the bottom lid, and vanilla for a highlight.
I always get complimented when I wear it! I'll be backing this baby up.

Okay, so I'm a little late to the Firespot party. But I'm glad I showed up! This is a VERY pretty shadow...a nice, vivid orange with a gold sheen. And with all the wonderful texture and wear typical with the Veluxe Pearl formula. Obviously, it looks great with Cosmic. And with other golds and neutrals. I just don't know that I'll get a whole lot of wear out of it. Doesn't seem to be a very versitile color...it's orange, for pete's sake! But maybe that's just me not being very adventerous with color. Regardless, it's a pretty and unique addition to my collection.

My search for a nice orange is over! It blends so well, but I have to layer it to get the same color as the pot. Otherwise, it's goes on sort of a yellowish orange. No biggie though. My MAC store ran out in the first week, so I had to order it online. When it arrived, I realized why it sold so fast. It was love at first sight!

This is such a fun, intense color! I usually don't go for oranges, but I got Fab & Flashy and loved it, then had to get Firespot. Firespot shows up almost as a red-orange on me, and I don't really see any gold popping out. Even so, it somehow seems to work with my coloring (NC30, strong yellow undertones, dark brown eyes). This will be fun to play with...It does seem a little odd that Firespot is from Moonbathe and Fab & Flashy is from C-Shock, because I find that Firespot is far brighter and less versatile than F&F. I think that although I like this, that red-orange thing which is happening on my skin will be a little too much, and that I won't be using this nearly as much as F&F.
UPDATE (5/27/08): I have used this on occasion for different looks and I have to say that this shade has grown on me. If I use a stamping brush (LM has one that rocks!), I get great preservation of this color. It looks like a duochrome creamsicle orange with the merest hint of gold over a burnt orange-red, and doesn't make me look like I've been punched in the eye. I also make sure I don't use a ton of this on the lid, just a touch for a punch of color. Then I load on a complementary tone (anything from Fig.1 to Naked to Shadowy Lady, etc.) and it looks great. I am definitely keeping this one in my collection!
