With most nude shades, you either love them or hate them cause they make you look dead or they're the wrong undertone. For me, a NC25/30, MUFE 32, MUFE 120, and BB Sand, this was the right mixture of tone and shade for a pretty sexy nude look.
The colour is slightly on the warmer nude side but it has a shimmer that has both silver and gold shades. It really provides a good balance between cool and warm so it's not dead nude look or an orange nude shade. The pigmentation is decently strong. I would say a little more than the average sheer lipglass. It definitely provides coverage for a J.Lo nude shade. It looks fantastic over MAC Oak l/l.
In terms of smell and texture, it's the typical MAC sweet vanilla scent and the texture is slightly less tacky in comparison to the normal lipglass. I found it to be slightly smoother. I really like this shade and if it wasn't LE, I'd buy a backup for sure!

Nic enough gloss, but like so many of MAC's nude glosses, it morphs into a practically clear look on me. I have too many others that I am trying to sort through to warrant keeping yet another one.

I actually was browsing at the CCO and found this color. I was ins earch for a nude color at the time, and I saw this and immediately fell in love when I swatched it. It's exactly as the descriptions says, tan colored with gold and white pearl. I tried to chat with the MAC artist online, and the suggested chai with cork l/l, but I heard really bad reviews on chai. Nice color over Moonbathe l/s Honeymoon, I use it along with Creamkiss creamstick liner. I have try to put this on top of Underplay as the reviewer said below. **UPDATE: 08/21/08 - Oh man they still have it at the same CCO, I had to buy two more: one for school, one at home, on in the purse. How perfect.

This is a gorgeous gloss over any nude lipstick, particularly MAC's Half and Half or Underplay. It adds just a smidge of peach and shimmer which lightens and brightens the nude look. I am going to grab another one ASAP, since it's an LE.

I love love love this LG. It's a slightly shimmery nude tone with a little peach. The thing I like best is that it makes my lips look full. Not to sticky and not too light (lots of nude glosses make me look like death warmed over). For reference, I have very dark brown hair, green eyes, and light to medium skin.

I really really love this shade. It compliments nicely my skintone (NW20, brown hair, brown eyes) and appears as a light pink/caramel with a pearl shine. Unlike other MAC glosses I've tried, I feel the glass effect is stronger in this one, and it isn't shimmery nor glittery. It's LE and already sold out in many stores so I purcahsed 2 (I never thought I would do this, it's only a gloss afterall!!). Also it pairs very nicely with Nars orgasm blush.

This is a nice shimmery nude with a hint of pink. It doesn't do much for me besides tone down my mauve-y lips, but it's a good shade to have on hand in case I need a more neutral lip, plus it's good to pair with smokey eyes. Since it's a subtle shade it should work on most skintones/lip colors.

After reading all the raving reviews on here I had decided to order this online until I found myself having to go to the mall. Of course this one was sold out and I was bummed until the MA showed me the tester and it felt like I had seen that color before (or at least something close to it). Then the MA showed me that it was very close to Fashion Pack from the Barbie Collection, which I all ready have. I am so glad that I saw it in person because I would have definately been upset upon opening that delivery. I ended up picking up plushglass in angel cream, silly girl lipglass and lilacrush lipgelee. My advice... look before you leap into this one.

Very nice neutral tan shade, with little shimmers. Beautiful, but barely shows up on my lips. Mostly looks like a clear gloss on me, but gives lots of glassy shine! Pretty, but if you're looking for more color than shine than this probably isn't a good pick. It doesn't stand out by any means, so I consider it a "safe" shade.

I own lots of lipgloss, however, this is one of my favorites. Im a DDD and this looks incredibly sexy on me. Its the perfect nude shade and it provides just enough shimmer that its not completely mute on my skin color. Love Love Love!

This is a great lipglass! It has a warm nude color with some peach undertones so it works on everyone. I am actually contemplating, well i've already MADE my decision. I am buying a backup! It's incredibly flattering and on me, picks up some of the pink in my lips, giving me an incredible pinky nude shine with shimmer! Just amazing.

Let me start off by saying I'm not normally a nude lippie person. I think I look dead in them. I have very unpigmented lips to begin with, so that may be why. For some reason I went ahead and ordered this shade without even seeing it in person. Well I'm glad I did! I'm an olive FFF and this shade is the perfect nude on me. It's got slight shimmer and is neither too cool or too warm, just perfect. It is v. sheer. If you are afraid of nudes like me, give this a try!

I'm in love with this l/g!!! It is a gorgeous peachy/nudey color w/ gold shimmer that looks great alone or worn on top w/ l/s such as Freckletone!! Like the 2 other ladies said, First Bloom has a great shine and looks great for that summer bronzy look! Will definitely repurchase!

Well, to me- this one is back-up worthy! I LOVE neutrals, and First Bloom is as neutral as they come! MAC describes First Bloom as a cream Lipglass, "soft tan with gold and white pearl." What a GREAT shine I get from this one, too! Probably one of my all-time, prettiest, MAC Lipglasses. I don't know why, maybe it is the gold shimmer in this, but First Bloom makes my lips appear more "full." More so than my Plushglass lipglosses do! (I find that kind of amusing.) :o)I love this one, and I honestly think it is the best, new, LE lip color that MAC has released in a long time.P.S. (When my husband came home from work today, I had First Bloom on my lips. He smiled and asked, "What do you have on your lips today that is making them look so luscious?" {smile} Buy again? YOU BETCHA!

ohhhhhhhhhhh i love this lipglass. it's a perfect shimmering nude, with gold and tan pearl. i like to sheer it out a bit, as my lips are already pretty pigmented, but nevertheless the color is gorgeous and the pearl is perfect. as with all lipglasses, i find it a little thick, but the shine factor is definately there.
