I received a sample of this with my Sephora Fragrance kit. It does smell literally like clean cotton. It smells like dryer sheets. Not that it smells bad, but I don't want to smell like dryer sheets.

I really love this perfume. It lasts all day and it wafts through the air but it isn't suffocating or cloying. Not for anyone who would not want to feel like they have dryer sheets in their nose 24/7 :p

I think maybe this perfume reacts oddly with some people, because my experience with it was great! I got it in a sampler and now that I have a gift card I'm buying a bottle of it. It did smell like fresh, warm cotton towels on me, and warm towels usually have the fragrance of whatever detergent or fabric softening sheets you use, so I'm not really sure why people thought it would smell like something other than laundry. I can see how that can smell bad to people, but on my skin it smelled really good, almost like sweet tarts for some reason but not in a sickly sweet way. I like the way clothes smell when they are freshly cleaned, so I don't mind smelling like that all day. To me it was definitely a "clean" smell, and I don't think it would come off to other people as an obvious perfume but just that you smell good.

I got this perfume as part of a sephora favorites set. My husband suggested that I put this in an atomizer and use it in place of febreze, which may not be a bad idea. Smells too much like a dryer sheet or detergent to wear all day unless we're camping!

Ok so i don't own this fragrance but i have the Warm Cotton body souffle. I have tested this at Sephora and i kind of like it. I got the Body Souffle instead and i like it on its own but i believe if i paired it with this EDP,it will be even better. I do agree this is definitely not for everyone and it can put some people off but i honestly love this.

This smells exactly like a laundromat and not in a good way. It gives me a migraine headache. The only reason I have this fragrance is because it came with a Sephora fragrance sampler. When I opened the packaging I instantly got a migraine from a strange scent and it took me no time at all to realize that it was coming from the Clean Warm Cotton bottle. I much prefer Philosophy's Amazing Grace or Pure Grace for a simple clean scent without the awful migraine.

Smells just like laundry detergent or fabric softner. Some one you may go why would you want to wear a perfume that smells like that when you can just wash your clothes and get the same thing? Well for me this is great I work in a salon and the competeing smells can be overwhelming so wearing something like this is nice because I can still get my fill of putting on a perfume without giving my clients some other competeing smell.

This smells exactly like detergent, bad detergent! I think the next time I want to smell like this perfume, I will just pour detergent on me. On to the next perfume.

I absolutely adore the scent of clean linen. In the morning, I often find myself hitting the snooze button multiple times just to keep burying my head into my freshly laundered sheets. If you need to get your fix of clean sheets in the day time, you can look no further than Clean's Warm Cotton. This effortlessly sexy fragrance is right up my alley, as it connotes a kind of laid-back California cool. Having used Tommy Girl and Ralph Lauren Ralph when I was younger, I much prefer this now as it is less common and more grown up. I live in LA and frequent the beach whenever the weather permits, and this fragrance is perfect all day long from the beach to dinner out. This perfume is so soft and relaxed I never feel overdone or self-conscious wearing it.

I just cannot believe the bad rap that some reviewers have for this product!
I like it! A lot, in fact! It has a unique clean scent. No, not like Tide, or Gain. But, instead, a little lemony, a little green, and all in all, a comforting scent that lasts until the next morning!

I love this fragrance as it has a "Clean" scent to it. Think of how you initially smell after you've just stepped out of the shower/bath: A Soap and Water Freshness that I believe suits anyone. Whenever I wear it someone will always approach me as to the brand so they could find/buy it for themselves. This "Warm Cotton" EDP is really my favorite of the many other fragrances "Clean" has. It stays on forever which is hard to find with a light/green/fresh smelling fragrance. When you wake up the next morning you can still faintly smell it on yourself and bed linens. You use very, very little amounts of this as it's quite concentrated in this EDP form. It's more between Perfume and EDP in it's stregth. It is a spray. Initially the top notes are green and fresh. It then settles into a more mellow middle mixing in some warmth with the top notes. Bottom notes are even warmer, losing some of the "Crispness" upon application settling into this fresh laundered bed linens scent in a sexy sort of way. I live in South Florida so this is a perfect scent for the heat and humidity here. It's laid back yet sophisticated at the same time. This is a hard match I would think to marry, but "Warm Cotton" does it and does it well. Highly Recommended! A very modern scent!.

This scent is very fuzzy and warm.Very clean and smells like what it says. Its not too lemony for my liking, and I am just okay with the scent like all of the other Clean fragrances.I don't necassarily dislike it..but I don't like it.I probably dislike it less than I like it.Some um,I probably won't be repurchasing.

I just received a sample of this, and I LOVE IT! It has such a clean fresh scent, subtle and soft. It doesn't clash with my body lotion, in fact it pretty much enhances it! This is such a comforting scent, if that makes sense. I really love it, such a great daytime, or anytime scent:-)

I love the smell of this stuff. Like clean laundry. Of course, half the reason I probably love the scent of it is because it makes me think of clean, ORGANIZED and PUT AWAY laundry, which is probably over-romanticizing the whole thing, anyways. Still, the smell is great- and whether it's the actual smell or the association that's the draw, I don't know. But the smell makes me happy, so I'll continue to buy it :)

Is this seriously a perfume?
I received this as a Sephora sample and it smells just like laundry detergent-- actually it smells more like the sheets you put in the dryer. It's also too strong! I was thinking maybe I could spritz a bit after my laundry is done, but the scent is too overwhelming! It smells like I put my head in the detergent box and makes me dizzy.
Anyway, glad this was a sample. Not sure what I'll do with it. Maybeee I'll put it in my hamper.. lol

I have this from the Sephora fragrance sampler and am wearing it today. I don't get a "cotton" smell from this. It smells like chemicals on me and it's aggravating my allergies. I guess the idea of cotton is freshly laundered sheets or something, which is why so many are saying it smells like dryer sheets and laundry detergent. On the plus side, it is very light, if you like that. For a just washed, clean scent I prefer the Philosophy Grace scents and B&BW Sea Island Cotton, that smells like what cotton would smell like if it had a smell. The price is high for a full sized bottle of Clean Warm Cotton and not worth the money in my opinion. I will not buy a full sized bottle of this.

I absolutely love clean fresh scents. Why the heck haven't i gone and found this fragrance earlier. I tried it on at sephora yesterday and fell in love. Its fresh and clean smelling as it should be. And the smell lasts. That is what I love about it more than anything. I think its a bit pricey for the size, but its great imo.

I got this perfume in the Sephora sampler in a little bottle. I just applied it and now for the review... It smells like laundry detergent. Who doesn't like the smell of that? Truth is, I would buy this fragrance if I had an excessively massive amount of cash, but I don't. This fragrance is not worth the price. I could simply buy a bottle of Febreeze for five dollars than buy this. However, I see the appeal of this fragrance. It smells clean, fresh, and somewhat powdery (like a dryer sheet). As for the fragrance itself... it gives me a slight headache. Save your money if you want a signature fragrance, or want a fragrance that you won't get bored of.
