This stuff burned my eyes LIKE MAD! I didn't even get any "in" my eye, but just having it on my eye area made me tear up like I was chopping onions. So painful! I'm surprised, because I've used many other mineral sunscreens in my eye area before and have never had a reaction like that, so I'm going to assume the culprit was not the sunscreen component but some other ingredient in this. In general though, I think Mario Badescu is a really respectable company (I got this as a free sample, and so I don't feel ripped off) and I've had great success with most other MB products I've tried. I'll chalk this one up to a possible allergy/sensitivity on my part. (As a side note, I've used MB's "sun care" lotion around my eyes, and did not have the same bad reaction. I found it quite pleasant and effective. I recommend that one!)

I have long been looking for an eye cream with SPF protection. Alas, this one is not the one for me. I found it a bit too rich for day wear, since it was difficult to apply makeup over it. But the most dissapointing side effect is that is caused milia all around my eye area, which I am still trying to get rid of. This one wasn't a winner for me...

I just got this product and I like it. It's moisturizing but not too heavy and didn't burn my eyes. I'm happy to find a eye cream with spf that doesn't have tons of ingredients in it.

Yes, this does sting if you accidentally rub it into your eye (it's sunscreen after all!), but overall this has been my go-to eye sunscreen for almost the past decade. It has never given me the little bumps (milia) like the Kiehl's Ultra Moisturizing Eye Stick SPF 30 did, and it is more moisturizing than the Clarins Sun Wrinkle Control Eye Contour Care SPF 30. I use this in the morning and Mario Badescu Ceramide Herbal Eye Cream at night. So far I credit it with helping prevent crows feet from developing around my eyes.

Maybe this is inevitable with sunscreens, but man, this stuff really stings if you get it in your eyes! Would not repurchase.
