I purchased this from Walmart a few days ago. I just used it today on my legs because I was a little worried as to how it would turn out. As far as the colour goes i am happy with my one application i will be using this on my stomach next and see how the colour looks on that before i go straight to my arms.

For a spray on tan I think this is a well made product. i always look for tanning products for the winter and its very hard to find ones that arent orange or streaky. This one has surely got my attention. i have the medium one so one applications was good enough for me. I do use another self tanner mousse from Sephora that has a better colour when it goes on but for a quick fix fast dry this one has really caught my eye.

I use this product in the winter on my face and décolleté for a boost of color. It looks very natural if you follow the instructions! I made the mistake of misting too close to my body and ended up with orange splotches. It was a lesson learned, and now I'm careful about how I apply. The color is very sheer and build able, I have it in Medium. As far as sunless tanners go, this is one of the few I really like, but it is expensive for DS brand. Likely will repurchase if I can find it- noticed it has disappeared from many stores & I wonder if its been discontinued.

In my opinion, this is the BEST self-tanner for body. It goes on really light versus any of the lotions, and I have oily skin, so that's a plus. The reason why I use this on my body and not really my face is because i wash my face too often and the skin is softer and this stuff is very light in colour as well, so it doenst ever tend to "stick" or last on my face. (I use Clarins Cream Deliceuse on my face btw)

Pros:
- Inexpensive ($12 or something in Walmart - I live in Canada)
- Dries SUPER fast
- It's not tacky
- Gets your hands - no need for tanning gloves and stained fingers!
- Because it's a mist it covers the surface area of the skin better than a lotion since it's hard to miss much. that which you do miss will only be a fade into what you didnt - therefore not as noticeable as a line or splotch.
- Takes less than 3 minutes to apply.

Cons:
- Stinky, but still not nearly as bad as some of them out there. Honestly, have you ever tried a self-tanner that won't stink? no, it's DHA.
- It's only a light tan with one application, unless that's a PRO for you
- Self tanning is an annoying process

How I use it:
In the morning before work I shower and exfoliate. When I come home after work (around 5pm or so), i strip down and hop into my shower curtains closed. I start by spraying top-down. Reason for this is because the mist DROPS. Gravity - it still works. I found once when i sprayed bottom-up that my feet were SUPER dark and the rest of me got lighter as you went up. I didn't account for the mist dropping and therefore applying an extra layer on my bottom half. So, I spray liberally on top, then just lightly once I get to my feet and legs. Stand with legs apart and DON"T move your legs until you get out of the shower stall. Reason? Because if you step around, you'll end up stepping on spray that's on the tub bottom, making the bottoms of your feet creamsicle orange!!! Get out, let myself dry off to the touch, then I hose down my tub so it doesn't stain. I walk around pretty much naked for about 10-15 minutes. Then i put on some "crappy" home clothes that are dark coloured. Lounge around for the night, then I go to sleep and i can even see it develop before I go to sleep.
Reason why I do this after work and not before bed: in bed you can sweat. Sweating causes streaking. Also, it helps control colour. Sometimes I can wake up looking like an orange. If I notice that there's some bad splotches at night I can hop into the shower with bath oil and stave off some of the damage before it develops well over night!

I know this sounds like a lot, but it's honestly the best most easiest, cheapest way. I apply about twice a week. Keep exfoliating because i f you don't it will wear off in patches.

I can't stand the smell of this. Instant headache. Smells like mens cologne. I rather have the normal stench of self-tanner. I'm a pretty experienced self tanner so I knew to rub this stuff in even though it claims you don't have to. It dried SUPER QUICK. I like that a lot. The color was pretty good on my pale skin for a 1st time application. However, i will not repurchase because of this cologne smell. Oh, I got it for about $8 at walmart.

I am super pale and the color from this (even though i used the medium) is very very nice. Honestly, just follow the instructions on the package. The only reason for streaks/blothes is if the bottle was held too close to the body when misting.

Absolutely loved the product and will def. buy again

I have this in medium, I like the colour, I like that it's a mist BUT... it takes forever to dry, takes overnight to process, spots all over and clings to areas more than others. Would not repurchase.

I really like this product. I have only purchases one bottle of this so far, but I am most definitely going to purchase it again. It doesn't have a bad price, 10 bucks got me about 5 generous applications. It looked SO natural, even on my face. I recieved so many compliments on my tan. Friends were asking me how much I lay out when I hadn't at all! My application was very even and non streaky. Just make sure you hold the can at least 6 inches from your body and spray in constant, streaking motions. Don't concentrate on a certain area or you will most definitely have streaking. I didn't think the smell was bad at all. It was actually quite enjoyable compared to any other self tanner I've used. It works so much better than a lotion, and you really can spray it in any direction for a streak free, no hassel, natural looking tan! I would most definitely recommend this to anyone!

I like this self spray way more than the neutrogena one because the nosel is easier to spray contiuously. The color it produces is really nice and natural looking. I tried it yesterday and a few hours later random people were complimenting my tan. This also doesn't have the awful self tanning smell that alot of others do. This was also cheaper than the neutrogena.

i love this tanner! im super pale and i used to spend $20 a week to get sprayed at a local salon. i bought this at rite aide on sale and thought it couldnt hurt to try. i read the other reviews about the application being tricky so i had my sister apply it for me. she sprayed me down, and it came out even and had nice color. it has a funny smell, it claims to be citrus fresh, but its more like cheap perfume. in my opinion i think it smells better than the stuff at the salon...but i strongly suggest having a helper, it just makes it easier to get an even look

best self tan i've ever used at home. i have it in the medium shade, which i recommend for everyone. if you only want a light tan, apply once. a full tan requires two applications. anyone experiencing streakiness is simply not applying it correctly. application of self tan requires practice. the colour is perfect and not orange at all. there is some self tan smell but it's not too strong. my friends all think i get my tan done professionally when i wear this!

Wow. Streaky as heck! Totally not newbie friendly!
The can is so difficult to spray, my arms hurt the next day.
All the tutorials on fake-tanning said application is one of the key things to getting an even fake tan. Well, this product makes it so difficult that you're going to end up with splotches (or in my case, STRIPES).
Oh well. Back to gradual lotions for me.

I'm on a review writing binge! I have quite a few stand by products that I take for granted, work horses that simply perform well consistently. This is one of them. I used to love Lancome FlashBronzer, and the Sublome in a tube (looks translucent reddish brown) is a great dupe for the original one of that. But its been reformulated and I wasted nearly $30.00 for a streaky, splotchy outcome. This gives me that shade Flash Bronzer used to, sans streaks.

I will tell you why this really stand out for me amongst the many Self Tanners I've tried, its great for the decolletage area! Many look awful there, accentuate anything but the positive, and applying bronzer there to match your face when you want a tan look (again no real sunning), is hit or miss since the skin on your face differs from that of your neck an chest area (even if you have worn sunscreen and used anti aging topicals as I have and do). You can end up looking splotchy and ridiculous, but this is great on me for that area. I see too many otherwise well groomed, and young looking women with decolletage that looks too dry and older than their faces, in an attempt to have some color there, they seem to skimp on sunscreen or did in the past.

This does not accentuate dryness, nor does it streak, or even stink. It dries quickly and fades very well, which is to say evenly, without having to rub a layer of skin off! Good color, ds price, I like the regular spray version too, have yet to try the one in a plastic bottle vs the can. This works well all over in general, but for ladies over 40, this is great to give color to your decolletage area.

I really don't understand all the negative reviews on this product. I have been spray tanned, and used MANY self tanners and this is the BEST by far. The best thing about this product is the smell. I think it smells very much like baby powder and I NEVER smell that nasty tanning smell. It takes a few coats for the color to show but dries quickly and evenly. Make sure to cover your feet or lay down a towel cause the bottom of my feet turned orange. I will def repurchase.

I can't believe more people haven't mentioned the smell. I got the Dry mist for face and it has an absolutely terrible smell! I am the palest of the pale, desperate for a tan, and I will not use this for fear of someone thinking I ran over a skunk. I really like the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze sunblock with tanner, though! That stuff smells really good, looks natural, and moisturizes. I'd go for that instead next time...

In my opinion this is the best self tanner on the market. I dont like lotions bc I think they are too hard to manipulate, streak easily, etc. This spray is just like Mystic Tan. Shower. Exfoliate if you need to. Get out. Dry off. Moisturize. Wait like 15 minutes. Then put a towel down in the tub for your feet and spray away. I focus on my shoulders, arm, thighs, butt, stomach. The product falls onto your feet, so I go extremely light. Once you do your whole body, theyve already been hit, so dont go overboard. On my face I go lightly too. I hit my cheek hollows and bridge of my nose and under chin extra.

Dont dry with a towel and dont get dressed for at least 10-15 minutes. Wear loose clothing if you can. The best time is to do this on the night before you wash your sheets and tan before you go to bed so you dont have to walk around smelling like crackers all day.

You will be a bronzed goddess. : )

I will definitely not use this product again...the one pro is that it did dry fairly quickly and had no unpleasant smell. However, 24 hours or so after this sets in, it's very patchy because when you are spraying it's difficult to tell where you hit and miss. Perhaps if I had more of a base tan before using this product, it wouldn't have looked as bad. The wrorst part about this product was about a week later after it was flaking off - it looks like you have a horrible skin disease (I actually had a coworker ask me what was wrong with my elbows!) I was able to exfoliate off some of it but other parts were really stuck to my skin and took nearly a month to wear off, it just looked really gross.

As other reviewers have mentioned it is very hard to get this even. I think it may have to do with how the active ingredient is suspended in the mist. It is a nice tan color, the packaging is good and it drys fast. I really wanted this to work and so I gave it three tries. Alas it never went on evenly. I will not repurchase.

This definitely isn't the best airbrush tanner out there for the following reasons: Takes quite a while for the color to develop (and I prefer an instant color) also it doesnt get very dark unless you keep applying.

However, it is good because i hate rubbing it in and no orange hands! Doesn't smell bad on skin and leaves color on for a few days :) So I use it the night before I need to look tan. I usually use about 3 coats, be careful to allow it to fully dry. It works, not the best like I said but not the worst.

This has been my go-to spray tan product for a year now. Love the ease of the spray bottle and it really does work 360 degrees: upside down, sideways, you get the idea.

It's not tricky to pick up how to use this product. It works best when applied lightly with one sweep over whatever area you're working on. I have layered it and would recommend only 2 layers max at a time. Otherwise, it can get patchy, but I've never had streaks.

The one thing about this product that I don't like is how it eventually fades and flakes off. Skin looks like a zebra's at about the 1 week mark and it flakes off in a really bad way. If you can handle that, I'd say try this out. If you can't, definitely go with St. Tropez, which has a more matte brown color (milk chocolate) and comes off almost unnoticeably. Sublime Bronze will give you a warm brown color (caramel). Too much and it can go orange...which means you've incorrectly applied.

I'll definitely keep this in my arsenal of tanning products. For the money, it's quick, easy with great results.
