I picked this up at Target when I was experiencing some odd acne (I very, very rarely get acne). I didn't do any research on it or linger in the aisle, I just skimmed the shelf and picked this. I must say I hate the scent. Few things make me gag as quickly as cucumber. The product itself is a gel-like texture, not particularly foamy, and lathers easily on the face. I feel like it got most, but not all, of my makeup off and didn't overdry my skin. However, I noticed no improvement in my skin or change in acne with about 10 days of use so I stuck it on my husband's side of the shower. Oddly enough, he loves it and it cleared up his skin and has kept it clear! I'm giving it 3 stars because it did work for one of us, but the scent and the fact that it didn't do what I needed it to keep me from repurchasing. We will go back to our Cetaphil and he can rebuy this one if he likes.

Smells SOO good, but this stuff is FREAKING EVIL. You would think this product would be okay for my sensitive, acne-prone skin being that it only contained 0.5% Salicylic Acid, but nope. I used this maybe twice I think? Right away, noticed my skin was getting dry, but I wanted to believe that this stuff would clear my mild acne and it did, but I had a really bad reaction the second time around. My skin became not only dry, but ROUGH. I had to slather Vitamin E Oil on my face for DAYS. Had to return ASAP! Also burns!

I have tried being pacient with this product hoping it would help due to the fact i do have problems with stress. The only thing that this has prevented is me having soft clear skin.

I used to use this product about four years ago, and it worked like a dream. I was in the drug store and had a few blemishes I wanted to clear up, so I decided to pick up the old" tried and true." When I used this product it washed my makeup off but, I felt like it wasn't cleaning my pores, and boy was I right.I now suffer from break outs on my chin, and They won't go away. I'm so upset.

i don't use this as a daily cleanser but it's a great product to keep in the medicine cabinet to whip out when you feel a break-out coming through or have a few pimples you want to rid yourself of.
* seems to help "clean out" break-outs and/or pimples not just on the face, but neck/ back as well.
* i also sometimes use it preventatively - when my skin is either being extra nasty or i've put something disgustingly oily or possibly pore-clogging on it.
* would probably make a good daily cleanser for oilier-skinned people - i would've probably loved this in high school.
* neutrogena's "oil-free acne stress control 3-in-1 hydrating acne treatment" (a 2% salicylic acid acne treatment lotion) is also worth looking into for simple acne especially for dry skin.

This was just an okay cleanser for me. Did it cleanse my face? Yes. But did it get rid of acne? Not even close. Actually I suffered my worst breakout ever while using it. I don't blame this for that. I blame my job because I jump around and sweat in the Florida sun. But for a cleanser that has salicylic acid and is supposed to help with acne, I would have expected my breakout to clear up faster. And for that, I wouldn't re-purchase.

This an ok cleanser for me. It didn't have any bad or positive result on my skin, it was just like another cleanser. The foam action just makes washing my face more fun...I guess. Although, it did dry my skin which is good since I have oily skin, I probably wouldn't rebuy this product. It really didn't do anything.

I bought this for my hubby and tried it one day. First of all, the amount you get with 1 pump is tiny. It isn't a very rich foam. It also stinks and didn't feel like it cleaned. Will not buy again. It is still in my shower and my hubby now uses my face wash, lol.

My mum bought this product for me about a week ago. I started using it when my skin already had a few pimples on it, but in a few days those cleared up and barely left any mark. I can't say that it completely prevented my acne because I have gotten the odd pimple, it i can say that it has reduced it. Also, i love the smell and the bottle is adorable and the pump is handy. I have only had like 1 other cleanser and I would consider this better because it reduced the tiny bumps on my skin, which are developing acne. :) I would probably buy again

I actually really like this cleanser! I'd been using Cetaphil for the longest time, which I love, but I wanted something in a cleanser to help with oil and acne so I wouldn't have to use a topical medication. This cleanser fits these needs perfectly for me.
I use the Cetaphil bar first to remove my makeup, then I use two pumps of this foam to cleanse. I've been using it for about a week and I've already noticed reduction in acne, redness, and oil. It smells wonderful. I use the 3-in-1 Hydrating treatment afterward and my face is smooth and oil-free.
The only reason this doesn't get a 5 is because I don't think it's strong enough to remove makeup. I also think $6 is a little steep for a cleanser that won't last as long as some of my other ones, but if I like it this much I think it's worth it. I'll probably buy this again once it runs out.

This stuff smells nice like cucumber but that's about it. Instead of reducing blemishes I think it caused more and in addition left my face dry. Neutrogena really let me down with this product. To add insult to injury the pump stopped working half way through so it just sat in my shower for a few months before I threw it out. Badddd.

Meh, nothing special. Thought I would try it since I have oily skin. It did not help my skin at all. Will not repurchase.

I decided to try this product because my skin was feeling extra-oily, and I was breaking out on my forehead, which is normally very clear. This turned out to a huge mistake. I have fair, sensitive skin, and this cleanser aggravated it A LOT. My skin felt a bit dry after the first day of use, and a bit rough on the third. On the fifth day, I woke up to find my skin red, irritated, and covered in little bumps. It absolutely burns when I wash my face, and I have red blotches everywhere, even my neck. My skin looks significantly worse than it did before I started using this product. It is just too harsh and drying for sensitive skin.

eh. Didn't do anything for my skin. Pretty disappointed since many MUA reviewers like and felt that it worked for their skin.

My all time favorite face wash - and I've seriously tried them all. I bought this face wash about 6 months before my wedding. It cleared up my skin, decreased the redness, and sucked up the heavy duty oily-ness. I love the "pump" style packaging as well. Do yourself a favor and try this product!

I stopped using this product after the first week or so because it wasn't doing much to my face. I recently started using it again and noticed a big difference but only because I paired it up with Acne.org's benzoyl peroxide and so my face wouldn't dry I started using Mary Kay's Balancing Moisturizer Formula 2, for normal and combination skin. I love it because it's non-comedogenic so it doesn't clog up my pores...
Bottom line I believe this product DOES help minimize my acne and also it cleared up my disgusting chin and mouth are acne that I hated so much! But only because I paired it up with benzoyl peroxide..Your skin wont likely clear up as well unless you use bp.

My skin is really oily..
Maybe that's why my skin didn't feel clean enough when i washed with this cleanser..
But, overall, it was an okay cleanser.
It did have a nice refreshing scent, and foamed up very well.
I did get some little whiteheads while using this product, but i'm not sure if this is the one that has caused it.
The packaging was really bad though.
The pump worked fine until the bottle was almost done,
then suddenly stopped working..
I had to find another bottle to put the rest of the product in...
I don't think this product was "the one" for my skin, but still, an okay product

Desperately looking for a acne wash because of all these breakouts...
I liked how it smelled, very refreshing and smooth on the skin. I like how it comes in pump form. It has helped keep the majority of my acne under control..majority as in like 75% of my acne.
However if you follow it with the toner, the toner stings. It does say flammable on the back (first time I've heard of a flammable toner) and when I put it on and inhale it (just because i'm breathing), you get this sort of uncomfortable sense, like a cloud or something and it makes breathing difficult. but that doesn't last too long. Enough about the toner.
If you are wondering if you should get this product, I say go for it. It could help with [some] acne =)
