I've been looking for a concealer that does not get into the creases under my eyes and make me look older.

This concealer truly works. It not only covers up the circles but does so with out making it look like you've applied anything!

A little goes along way, its very blendable and gives you an overall flawless look.

Ive definatley seen better, and cheaper! (I'm looking at you, Elf liquid concealer) If your looking for a concealer for eye bags, and to give a nice, fresh, flawless look, this concealer is NOT for you. The product is waxy so it seeps into your fine lines. It makes my eye bags look so WHITE! And I have the darkest eye bags ever! It's just a cakey, dirty, unattractive mess! :((( </3

I have tried many concealers and by far this one works for me. A first because it was so inexpensive, I was hesitant to buy it but I am glad I did. It just works.

As my first experience with concealer this one has been pretty good to me. It blends very well with my beauty blenders help and lasts all day!

NYX Concealer in a Jar is in a pot container with a screw off lid. It has a good consistency, not too creamy so it wont settle into lines, but its easy to blend. Its great for blemishes and skin discolorations, I set with a bit of powder and it lasts all day. Great product for a price of $5 for 7g. I hope they will add more shade selection to their current line.

I actually thought NYX concealer in a Jar was comparable to Studio Sculpt, but not really.

It could be the color i picked, because the YELLOW corrector is absolutely amazing, much better then lemonaid by benefit.

I'm using yellow correcter in conjunction with my shade, and so far so good. I think the color is exactly my skin shade, so its kind of not illuminating, but mixed with yellow its pretty good.

I'm not a big concealer user, but i need to start getting into it, because im insomniac and dont get my sleep properly....

This product is also dying out and ive only gone half way..i simply take some on my brush and blow dry my brush to melt the product

Still on the hunt for a better concealer

I just bought this in lavender and its my 3rd concealer from nyx. The consistency is thick but generally full coverage concealer is. If you want something thinner, buy the wand instead.
When used with a concealer brush i have no problems blending it but i do find it to be easier with my mini foundation brush than a smaller one.
As far as the color...i dont know what posessed me to get the purple (03 light matches my skin tone). I read that purple is supposed to perk up dull skin.. but must of missed the part about it being made for yellow skintones. But i was determined to make it work and much to my delight.. i did!
I took my larger concealer brush and while tilting my head down and looking up in to the mirror, i put a dot of it where my under eye darkness ended. I traced the shape of the darkness and blended it to lash line and over the lid. At this point you will look a little scary for a minute. Then i took my skin tone concealer and very lightly blended it with the purple. After i blended it, i blend it a little more. Remember.. a little goes a very long way with these jars. Then i used my large concealer brush and patted some powder over it.
All i can say is wow. Of course my eye area was a shade lighter than the rest of my face, but considering i hadnt slept in two days and you could no longer tell, thats an easy fix with a darker concealer.
It may look heavy on you, or you may not want to take the time or layer that much makeup on, but somedays i absolutely need to to not look like the living dead girl.
Take lavender for a spin.. you may be surprised.

Normally, I love NYX products and find that I have little to no problem/issues with them. This was the exception. I really don't have anything positive to say about this concealer. I was in search of a new concealer and after seeing all the positive traits about it online, decided to give it a try. At first, the product applies very smoothly and is quite buildable. It also sets pretty fast, which is another good quality about it. After about 45 minutes, the concealer begins to separate and looks like I never put it on in the first place. I have since returned this and am now using the NYX HD Concealer, which I really, really love so far.

This is the best concealer I have ever tried so far, to cover my melasma spots. It works pretty well for the under eye area too, although I hardly have any dark circles. I found it better than MAC's Studio Finish, which leaves my skin looking dry. It's creamier than Studio Finish. Also, Nyx's Beige is a better match for my skin than MAC Studio Finish NW25. (For reference, I'm a NC25-30).
I can wear it alone in hotter summer days and it gives me a very natural even looking skin.
Love it! Recommend it!

After trialing many bad high end concealers I thought I would try a drugstore brand. This one did not have many reviews, but people have said it was a dupe for MAC's Studio Fix concealer (which I didn't like). Either way I purchased this online for AUD$8.00 which is cheap considered MAC's one was AUD$30.
I quite like the packaging, it is a screw top in comparison to a flip-top which does take more time, but more air tight. It is a very creamy concealer when warm up, but like others it does feel dry and can cake it not warmed up. I like to apply this with a brush after warming it up with my fingers and it works well on my face, not really on my dark circles - they are very dark and tends to crease. The coverage is nice and doesn't crease too much! It lasts quite longs - almost throughout the day. Placing a powder on top of this concealers is recommended as it doesn't have a dry finish, but it is matte. I prefer to use this after foundation because it can 'slide' around.
The only thing that is problematic with this concealer is the colour selection because it is very limited. They tend to be more yellow toned vs. pink toned. I have this in Beige which matches my NC20-25 skin perfectly! There are also colour correctors in yellow, orange, purple and green which are great options and dupes for the high end colour correctors.

This was a surprise find for me. My skin is so sensitive that I usually don't use cheap face products. But, this one is so worth the $7 I paid for it and more. It comes in a tiny little jar, sort of like a gel eyeliner. You do need a brush to apply it, but that's no trouble considering the coverage it gives. I dab it on with the brush over my Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer, and blend it out a bit with my finger if I need to do so. It stays put and does not break me out. It does pull pink, so if you have strong yellow undertones to your skin, this might not be a good match for you. But, with my rosacea and overall redness, it does a good job. Usually, I use Amazing Cosmetic's concealer in the little tube. That one is pretty great. But this one is far better for about a third (or less of the price). I am absolutely buying again!

A fabulous concealer from NYX. I bought this because it resembled the MAC Studio Finish concealer I had been using and wanted to see if it was a cheaper dupe. Not only is it a good dupe, it's actually better than the MAC one. The MAC one I can't use on my under eye area because it creases and looks terrible, whereas this one I can. The only disadvantage it has over a liquid concealer is you have to use a separate brush but for full, flawless coverage you can't go wrong with this.

I have this concealer in Glow. It is a very creamy concealer. I like that I can apply to only acne scarring and under eye circles and then use a loose powder. Especially days when Im too lazy to apply a full face of makeup.

I got this for 5.50 dollars and you get 7 grams of product. That is a pretty good deal…but the concealer itself it’s not so much to rave about. I got it in the shade Beige #4 and I’m a Nc37-42 depending on season. I don’t think this concealer is pigmented enough to even out my small miscolorations under my eyes (redness and small veining). I will use this AFTER a heavy duty concealer (eg Hard candy glamoflauge or Makeup store’s Cover all mix) as a brightening effect and that’s about it. I have dry skin and even I find it to a little bit too emollient and greasy for my preference. It’s very easy to blend but in the end it blends out too sheer. And I don't like to put too much product on my face, I'd rather put smaller amounts with more pigmentation.
I do not recommend this and I will not repurchase!
UPDATE: It has gotten thicker by the time and not so emollient, I guess it's drying out. But still the pigmentation is not good enough for me! I still only use it as a brightener rather than a concealer under my eyes.

I bought this in the lightest shade (porcelain) when cherryculture was having a 20% off sale, and I have to say I'm really liking it so far!

I much prefer pot concealers for blemishes because you know your hands/fingers are clean when you get the product out and you don't spread the bacteria like a stick concealer.

It also works nicely as an eye base. I haven't given it five lippies just because it's too pink toned for me, and the staying power isn't as good as I would have hoped. But with a good primer and blending those things can definitely be avoided.

I expected more from this product. It doesn't blend easily, it creases a lot and if you want a better coverage, you cannot put another layer on, because the layer underneath will wipe off.

Will not buy it again. The colour beige matches my skin tone NC 25-30 very well.

I cannot understand the good reviews. I bought this product because of the good reviews. Don't believe any good reviews on MUA. The bad reviews tell mostly the truth.

This is a really good concealer. It is thick and covers well. I have the shade in Tan and it covers without being too grey or yellow. When set it with a powder, it does not budge. I prefer wearing this when it is cold out as it is very emollient ( a nice way of saying greasy on a humid day.) This may not be good for a person with oily skin.

The jar is neat and small. I have this for about a year and a half and haven't even reached the bottom (considering that I have 3 others in rotation ,1 being used in considerably more than the rest). If you dont like to close things, you may have a problem with this as the name says, in a jar. You have to use a clean finger or brush. I use either one.

I haven't been using this for very long, but so far, I love it! I have very fair, neutral, acne-prone skin that gets dry patches from using topicals. I've tried pretty much every concealer out there and had never found one light enough for me. For about a year now, I've been mixing the lightest shade in various brands with pure white to get a light enough shade. Unfortunately, I've been finding everything to be too dry and hard to blend. This NYX concealer is not only creamy and easily blendable, with good coverage, the lightest shade is perfect for me!!!!

UPDATE: 2/26/13 This concealer has become HG status for me. Love it.

Age: 19-24   Skin: Acne-prone, Medium, Warm   Hair: Black, Wavy, Medium   Eyes: Black

I have this concealer in medium for my Asian, tanned skin with yellow undertones. The colour match is perfect, and I can wear it on its own without powder or foundation to alter its hue. On most days I set it with a translucent powder (needed for my oily face in general), and on days when I wear foundation, I apply the concealer after foundation so I don't rub it off applying the foundation. The perfect colour match makes this doable.

The product is easily blended into the skin with a satin (neither cakey or matte or sparkly) finish. I apply it with an Ecotools concealer brush. I just do 2 to 3 swipes on the product and that's good enough for dabbing under one eye and on one or two imperfections (so about 6 swipes for both sides of my face). That may sound like a lot, but the product is fairly firm in consistency, and after a month of steady use, I've barely scratched the top. At this rate I estimate the jar will last me a minimum of 6 months (probably closer to 10).

The best part about this concealer is that it does not slide around or fade after a long day. I have oily skin with very oily eye lids and concealer usually shifts or fades to an extent. Living in harsh Canadian winters, it also endures a lot of transitions from the freezing outdoors to heated indoors. Even after a workout, this stuff stays on! I remove it simply with my Dr. Bronner's dilution and water with no extra tugging needed.

I paid $4.13 CAD (regular $5.50 CAD) for 7g (0.25oz) before shipping on Cherry Culture. That is infinitely cheaper than the $9.99 CAD drugstores were going to charge me, even after shipping! For over 6 months of use, the price is amazing. For Canadians looking to buy or swatch in-store, only select Save-on-Foods and London Drugs carry NYX. Best part of all: it carries the bunny-stamp of approval for cruelty-free beauty! Happy shopping!
