It makes my skin kinda irritated/feel hot if I put on any moisturizer, even a simple oil, on top to seal it in. Like, every time. Like I've put a warm compress on, and my skin also itches. My cheeks especially itch.
Even if I don't use any skincare on top, my skin does feel irritated for a couple of minutes, but then I'm guessing it evaporates or something? No repurchase because my skin ALWAYS feels a irritated when I use this. Also, apparently my tap water is connected to purified spring water, like most people in my (rural-ish) area, and it supposedly contains lots of minerals! So I'll just use plain water lol

Not all thermal water are equal. I am a long time user of Avene (the only good product is their thermal water in my opinion but apparently some people break out from that too).
So I was quite excited with this thinking I have alternative compared to Avene. The price is the same, but I really wanted to try something new.
I have sensitive and eczema skin so I am one of those who can tell the difference between general public air and hospital air, accurately tell the temperature through my skin and other measurements like dust content in air etc.
That is sensitive skin for you guys.
Oh boy this thing... breaks me out in zits, flares up my eczema. I can't even use it on my body cause the eczema will flare up too.
I don't know the science behind it so I am not going to even pretend. But this product is... scary!
End up throwing it away. Best decision I've ever made about a skincare product!

Wonderful product that helps to calm my sensitive and dehydrated skin after I wash my face! I spray this on after my toner, and every time my face itches. It helps to soothe it immediately. I stocked this up cos I use so much of it!

Another great thermal water with lot of minerals that never break you out or irritate your skin. It helps to calm down breakouts and increases defense of my skin. I use this one or La Roche Posay Thermal Water every single day in the morning and evening after washing my face. Totally recommend.

First off, I have to say I am originally an Avene thermal water user. I went through cans of Avene. I have also used the one by LRP. I never liked LRP. I also have dry and sensitive skin that is very easily irritated. I never wanted to purchase the Vichy because I didn't think it would be as good as Avene and read reviews saying Vichy's water tends to leave a film on the skin. After using a sample Vichy thermal water, I am hooked. I have to say I do like it slightly better than Avene. I did not experience a film left behind after using this, but I did notice that it seemed to hydrate my skin better than Avene (though I am not saying it takes the place of a moisturizer). After Avene dried on my face my skin felt tight again but not with the Vichy. I found Vichy calmed my irritation flare ups better than Avene. Sometimes I used Avene on flare but it did not help and sometimes stung. Also, I use Vichy as a makeup setting spray as it does not dry out my skin but feels like it adds moisture. Overall, I am going to continue to purchase this over Avene because it is cheaper and better for my super sensitive skin.

this spray is very calming and actually reduces my pimples. its price is relatively cheaper compared to la roche posay, avene and uriage.

Watsons sold a limited edition packaging of this product. I tried it and it was sooooo bad. It sucked the moisture out of my skin. Once I sprayed and patted the water, my face would feel tight minutes later.

I got a 2x150ml bottles promotional pack. I'm an avid user of avene so I thought I'd like to try a cheaper (relatively) alternative. While the spray is refreshing, it doesn't calm my sensitive skin as much as avene water. I'm kinda neutral towards this one. Maybe it's brand loyalty, but I'm switching back to avene once I use this up as it doesn't really do much for my sensitive skin which remains pink and feels only less hot after using it. Avene's on the other hand has a soothing feeling and redness is gone very fast. It even soothes the pimples which form on my face due to the weather.

I wasn't buying into the whole "paying for spritzing water on your face" thing, until someone recommended this to me for my sensitive skin.
My skin is dry/sensitive and it turns red after cleansing and occasionally have reactions to products or due to the weather. This is amazing! A few minutes after spraying this on my face, the redness fades and leaves my skin hydrated.
I use it at night in place of a toner. Absolutely will repurchase.

I loved the way it set my makeup when I wore powder. I can't stand the cakey look and this was the answer. At first I did not mind paying for fancy water BUT that has changed. I purchase the small cans because I don't use it daily. Every can I have bought has clogged on me, and I cannot get the nozzle to clear. I was using it a few times a week so it wasn't like it had that much opportunity to clog. I am now looking for a replacement that won't randomly clog when over half full. What a shame.

I bought a small can of this spray and it does seem to go along way. I use after I wash my face, just as reassurance that my face is clean. I have washed my face with Vichy milk cleanser, and used Thermal after the fact, and it did remove a small amount of mascara that I had work days before and removed with eye makeup remover and cleanser, and 2 or 3 showers in between. Leaves skin soft, natural clean. I recommend to anyone to use that wants to get rid of skin's impurities and rinse off any residues that may be left behind by cleansers. But it is like I said, more less a reassuarance. It will not magically make skin glow or anything like that.

Being an avid fan for Avene thermal water, I made a switch to this just for a breathe of fresh air. For many people, this may be like just ordinary water- it has the exact consistency as water, is odourless and tasteless as well. However, people with sensitive skin will be able to tell the difference. I alternate this between my toner and as a facial mask. When my skin feels irritated or blotchy on certain days, i saturate the thernal water onto cotton pad and leave it onto my face for ~10 mims before proceeding with my usual skincare routine. It really cools the skin down, and to a certain extent soothes tight and dry skin. When travelling, its great as a hydrating mist. Truly an advocate of thermal waters. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

This is such a treat for my skin! During the summer, on these humid days, when my skin is thirsty, this is so refreshing. Or during the harsh winter, when my skin gets flaky. I used to take a flight at least once a month a couple of years ago and when you're flying a lot, you should make sure to have a thermal water in your hand luggage as the skin somehow tends to become dehydrated and looks dull, so this is a great boost for such matters. Very calming and non-irritating. I also love to use this in the evening before I put my Juju Aquamoist Hyalronic Acid Essence on.
At first I had my doubts as I was asking myself why I'm spening 10 Fr. (about 10$) on water instead of actually just buying a 1$-Evian and put it on my face, but I'm really enjoying using this and will definitely repurchase and also try the Avene thermal water. So basically: Yes, this is just water with a high dossage of calcium, zinc etc. but it is a treat for the skin and it really calms the skin (redness) and before you put tons of moisturizer on your face to treat the dry flakes, try the thermal water instead.

I love this! One thing that's been a staple in my skin care bag for years is the Vichy thermal water spray. It calms down my skin, feels great no matter when! It's wonderful in the summer after being out in the sun all day, or when you skin feels extra irritated. My rosacea prone skin can get hot, red and irritated. This calms it right down. I even keep a mini travel size in my purse! I've tried Vichy, Avene and La Roche Posay thermal water and this one is by far my favorite!

It is a nice refreshing step to add to your cleansing routine, after cleanser, before moisturizer, as a replacement to toner! It does not irritate at all, and I believe the overall texture and smoothness of my skin is improved. Someone commented recently how nice my skin looks. I have been using the product for about three weeks, and it seems to be working. Not "miracle water" as some reviews have said, but definitely a nice boost to your skin's natural defences. It's also a nice mineral makeup setter.

First of all Im a huge fan of Vichy's products because they are of excellent quality and it's one of the only skincare line's that work and you can see results. I have been using this water for about 5yrs, after I wash my face at night I spray this "miracle" water all over my neck and face. Its very soothing, moisurizing, leaves my skin smooth and satiny, my skin feels hydrated and soft, this is the one product that I cannot live without. There are so many benefits from this naturally mineral infused water, another excellent product from Vichy.

cannot live without this stuff, esp. in summer time. it's also great to use it instead of a lotion sometimes. it refreshes the skin whenever needed. No 1 for traveling to tropical countries where the skin is so drying out.

I got the travel size in a set with the Nutrilogie 2 moisturiser (which is great by the way) and a travel size cleanser and toner.
I love thermal water. It has helped my skin so much this winter. Nothing else soothes my sensitive skin like it. Before I got this I was using Avene but when I ran out I started using this. I see no difference in the water itself, it's bottle's spray nozzle that is horrible!
At first it sprayed normally. But after a while less and less water would come out until the point where it was no longer a mist and just a tiny jet of water. I don't know if the larger bottles have this problem but I'll be sticking to Avene just in case.
